Wow. Took me forever to finally pick out my carpet, had it installed & was heartbroken that I did not like it at all! Carpet One & Leah, told me to come in & pick out a new one & they would swap it out… Seriously? I could not believe my ears. This place is amazing. It is true, you do get what you pay for. Carpet One may not be the least expensive place in town, but you get the BEST customer service EVER! Worth every penny.

We had a large tile floor installed by Carpet One recently. We worked with Ken to get a quote and help with decision making. We found Ken to be knowledgable, easy to contact, and ver responsive. The tile was installed by Ivan and Omar, over the course of 5 days. Ivan and Omar could not have been more pleasant and easy to have around. Not only does the floor look gorgeous, but the price was fair and the clean-​up (every day, not just at the end) was everything we hoped for. We are so pleased! This is the 4^th time we have had Carpet One do work in our home, and it won’t be the last.

Very happy with the service. Walked us through every aspect of installation and financing. After job was completed they followed up and fixed minor issue immediately. Would highly recommend.

Do not deal with this firm. I wish I could give zero stars. Had an appointment today for a small job where the workers were supposed to show up between 1 – 3. I took the day off work and was waiting for them from 11. They never showed. Said they called a left a message, but we did not receive. In any event, we never confirmed. They apparently wanted to come at noon. Fine, I was here waiting for them. Apparently, with no contact and apparently on a slow day, they sent their workers home at noon and ignored us. I called at 3:15 wondering where the workers were. Told we were out of luck and we will have to reschedule. Totally unacceptable. A day off, waiting for their worker to show up, for nothing. Thank you Carpet One. You will never see us in your store again.

We recently moved and had hard wood floors installed and carpet laid in our new home in Danville.
The experience was that rarity in today’s world —complete and total satisfaction. The owner Tony Leonard sets the standard for the company, polite, professional, punctual, personable, very responsive, and KNOWLEDGABLE. And if there is a small problem, it is corrected immediately. Everyone from the Project Manager through Sales, Installers, and Accounting were GREAT. The products are wide ranging and beautiful. I do not believe they are the cheapest, but I believe we got our best value here. Very high quality and excellent service. Kathy and I are thrilled with the result. I’d use them again in a minute and recommend without hesitation.

We are so very happy with Carpet One and the project coordinator, Ken Cormier. We had some very expensive Karastan carpet installed in 6 rooms of our large home. The installation went very smoothly. Ken coordinated everything with precision.
After installation, Ken came by to inspect the job. He found a flaw in the carpet. He had the entire carpet removed, ordered new carpet, and had it reinstalled at no cost to us. He made the second installation as painless and smooth as possible.
We are thrilled with our carpet, with Ken Cormier, and With a Carpet One. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am a return customer of Carpet One in SR. They installed carpet many years ago and did an excellent job then and the carpet has really lasted. We recently had new carpet installed in a bedroom and hardwood installed in the hallway and living room. Roberto and Alfredo did an excellent job prepping my floor including leveling in places where the floor was uneven. They were very precise in the installation of the new floor and the reinstall of my baseboards. They also made sure all of my furniture was protected on the bottom so that the floor would not be scratched. They left the floor spotless after the installation too. I would highly recommend these installers and SR Carpet One to anyone.

I am a fan!!! After struggling to find the right kitchen flooring for a rental, and looking at countless samples, I consulted Jeannie Langon at Carpet One. She was amazing! Within 2 days, she had the problem solved for a reasonable price, her service was excellent, and the floor looks terrific. Never again will I even bother with flooring at big box hardware stores after seeing Carpet One’s extensive choices and after having experienced their expertise and service. This one is a no brainer!

We checked with another couple local places for some carpet installation, and Carpet One not only offered one of the lowest quote, but by far they provided the best service. Leah was our project manager and she was very patient and helpful (along with the workers back at the showroom). We were a little overwhelmed in trying to pick the right look for our new home (to have the carpet color and style match our walls and décor) but Leah and her team were able to help us narrow down the choices. The price was right, the installers were professional and friendly, and everything worked out perfectly. Would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.

We decided to go with Carpet One after looking at several other stores for our laminate flooring.
It was an excellent decision since they have provided outstanding flooring, customer service, and installation, all for a very fair price.
Greg and his installation team of Dave and Martel are consummate professionals and we strongly recommend them.

Since my review, I was immediately contacted by Greg, who promised to honor the price match of the floor store and applogized for the inconvenience that had been presented to us. He was extremely personable, understanding and eager to rectify the situation. It matter of 24 hours, carpet had been ordered and install date had been set. They were even able to accommodate the exact installation date, as we were on a tight schedule.
Today, the carpet was installed. The technicians called when they were en route and got started right away. We left them with the key and lock box and came back later to check the finished project. The condo was left in amazing shape, the quality of the carpet and also installation was impeccable. Would definetly recommend this company and their products!
The carpets look so great, it has prompted us to consider the replacement of the carpet in our primary residence. Thank you!!!

This review is late but I did want to share our experience with Carpet One. We replaced our entire first floor (previously carpet and tile) with a beautiful hand scraped engineered Hickory two weeks before Thanksgiving.
Let me preface this with the fact that the floor we finally chose came after many repeated trips for samples (decisions, decisions, decisions…) and several design discussions, our intention was to get it done in September. I can not say enough about Jeannie Langon– she offered excellent suggestions and listened to what we were looking for and never ever made us feel rushed.
Ken came out, measured and explained all the services they provided. His attention to detail was really impressive, there were several things I had not considered but made a difference in the end. He oversaw the entire installation process which was a huge job due to the fact that we were taking out so much tile flooring. We did have 1 issue but it was resolved right away. Their crew was professional and on time. The customer service was excellent and their quote was competitive.
Now that we’ve had the floor for over 6 months — I still love it. It is not too formal, not too rustic but just right for us. The best part is that it actually hides dust!

We’re so happy we choose Carpet One for our hardwood floors. The entire experience from first visit to installation was no-​pressure, pleasant and easy. Considering how indecisive we were (having checked out at least ten samples), the staff was always helpful. We ended up selecting a beautiful hand-​scraped engineered hardwood (hickory).
Leah came to take measurements and gave really good advice; she was always happy to answer my numerous questions and always prompt in returning calls. The two installers (Roberto and Alfredo) were punctual and courteous. And oh my goodness, what hard workers! The workmanship is very good and they were diligent in meticulously cleaning up.
Thank you Carpet One for making this a very positive experience. We’ve even recommended them to our neighbors!

We called Carpet One to have someone come over and help us pick out matching carpet. On Saturday Bob came and helped us make an informed decision about which carpet to choose. He brought many samples and patiently explained the different kinds of carpet there were. Bob was the ultimate professional — friendly and so easy to work with.
The team that came over to install the carpet was professional and worked hard to make everything go smoothly and cleaned up after they finished.
The carpet looks great — I am very happy with the customer service and the quality of the carpet.

This place is great the only thing keeping them from five stars is that they have so many customers it takes two weeks to get your carpet installed.
Had about 650 square feet of carpet replaced as the final part of our remodel. We had engaged another store in the area, who came in measured and gave us a quote that my wife and I believed to be very high as we know how to measure square footage. In asking for the quote and where the numbers came from, we were told the cost is $ 50 for the square footage — that seemed odd, off to Carpet One of San Ramon we went. We were helped by Sharon, who explained that additional square footage comes in the quote with a patterned carpet and it would be require additional carpet to properly match the seem in our oddly configured master bedroom. Sharon also spent a long amount of time with us going over countless samples in the store.
Phillip came out to measure and gave us a quote in two days — guess what — it was $ 1,000 less than what we were quoted at the other store and he gave us the final square footage estimate.
The installers came on time (Jaime and his crew), they worked quickly, efficiently and were done with the furniture move and the entire space in about 5 ½ hours. We could not be happier with the end result. These guys are amazing, keep up the great work.

So here’s the deal. 2 lovely women helped me pick out what carpet would go nicely in my upstairs. The owner Greg then came out to measure and scope the job. He explained the entire process and cost. BAM! 2 weeks later, new carpet. No hitches or glitches. Very professional store. The showroom was impressive. Im going back for tile soon.

I’ve done business here twice. Well… one and a half times. The first time I chose a carpet that came in 4 grades. Of course only the 3^rd and 4^th ones were ‘available.’ It is a very nice carpet. Installation was fast and they did a great job, but they didn’t use the upgraded padding that I repeated requested and paid for. It was super expensive, but it looks really great. When I went back the second time, I was helped by the same ‘gentleman,’ Leonard, who, in my opinion, is a jerk. He informed me that he remembered me and that he didn’t like my house because it was ‘dark.’ He also shared with me how disappointed he was in my view. Uh, what?! I placed my order for an area rug to be made, but by the time I got home, I thought, Oh Hell No! I cancelled.
For the record, I’ve only received very positive feedback on my home, even from people from whom feedback was not solicited nor expected.
Seriously, Leonard, your mother would be very disappointed in your lack of manners! Your feelings and taste are your own, as they should be, but treating people so disrespectfully won’t be rewarded with my business.

I went to Carpet One last Saturday afternoon, as I just bought a home in the area and it really needed new carpet. I brought a berber carpet type sample that I was interested in matching the color of. When I went in the store there were several customers being helped, and there was a man with a goatee, slightly older, talking to another man in the store. As I patiently waited about 10 mins, holding a piece of carpet in my hand, having that look on my face that I could really use some help, one women walked past and said «I’ll be with you when I can». No problem, I understand. I again looked at this man in the store having a good old time chatting with his friend, and I thought if this guy is an employee here, who I’ve tried to get the attention of, and he could care less I’m really going to be unimpressed.
A few minutes later I started to walk out, the same man comes up and says «sir, excuse me, can I help you». I turned around and said «I’ve been waiting for help». He responds «well there’s a lot of customers today». Seriously? You’ve been chatting non stop with your friend for 15 mins., you saw me several times, and could not have cared less, that is, until I started to leave.
I have a 2800 sq ft home that needed carpet. I’m not sure how much that would have run, but my guess was around $ 5,000? (or more).
You lost that sale. But at least now you can go back to talking to your friend with no further interruptions.
I guess business is so good, you don’t need every customer.

Don’t let this professional looking show room fool you, it sure fooled us!
A business without accountability, a business without professionalism.
When the installers showed up at our home and opened up the carpet roll, it was immediately clear that the carpet did not match the sample we were provided in the showroom.
Throughout the entire process we had made it abundantly clear to the project manager (Phillip) that we were dealing with a very tight schedule. My wife was pregnant, the due date was fast approaching, and the baby nursery was one of the rooms where the carpet needed to be installed. Until the carpet could be installed we were unable to proceed with getting the rest of the items for the nursery setup.
My wife had stayed home from work for the day so that the carpet could be installed. You can only imagine the devastation she felt when 9 months into her pregnancy she was informed that the carpet would not be installed in the baby’s room.
I called Phillip to discuss our options and what accountability they would take for this error. He passed the buck and said it was the manufacturer’s fault and all we could do was either wait 3 weeks to get a new carpet roll issued or take a discount on the defective carpet that was delivered to our home. When I had asked to speak to the person responsible for these decisions Phillip said that the owner didn’t want to talk to me, that they would cancel our order, and just hung up on me mid sentence!
As a result of this delay the nursery was not completed in time for the baby’s arrival and we spent our first few weeks with baby (a crucial time for bonding) putting it together. This caused a lot of stress during this joyous time and we never even received an apology.
(Tip: I went back to the store to find out about their security deposit policy. I had initially provided a deposit and was under the impression that if I cancelled the contract that the deposit would not be refunded. So I was wondering if the same rule applied to the store for canceling a contract. They said no and furthermore that all security deposits are refundable. Please keep this in mind if the store attempts to not provide you with a refund if you cancel for any reason prior to installation and share if you have different results when the tables are turned).

This was our fist stop on our carpet hunt, and it should have been our last. But you know how it is when you are shopping, you want to explore your options.
Greeted and helped right away, and I mean really helped. Denise spent time helping me narrow down what I wanted, offered helpful advice, and showed me samples of what I wanted in my price range.
She gave a *guesstimate* that was itemized. Then we went and beat our heads against a wall for a few hours. In the end, Carpet One had the best quality for the best price.
The upper floor is getting measured and I am ordering from Carpet One, as soon as I decide on the color I want.

Installation day was great, the staff was friendly and worked together well. They ran out of carpet… to make the pattern match for the Master closet. They were very polite and communication was great.
Ken ordered the additional yardage… and it is going in Friday. All of the Carpet One folks were a pleasure to work with.
I love the color, pattern, and workmanship… I could not be happier!
