I just got my nieces cake for her 3^rd birthday Lupe who took my order was very nice and helpful she took time to get us the right cake and the price was great as well $ 40 for half a sheet !! I highly recommend them for cakes they are the best !!!

Delicious! A bag of pan dolce (?) 4 for $ 2! And the gentleman who greeted me was very polite (we spoke a brief moment in Spanish, even though I have not spoken in Spanish in a long time, before the manager came to assist us). Oh! And the apple fritter was very tasty! Even at 5:30pm in the evening.

Fantastic white cake with strawberry fillings and whipped cream icing! I ordered a full sheet cake for a retirement party at work, and everyone seemed to love this cake! Very light, moist and not sweet like some cakes. I highly recommend this white cake and would order it again in the future. Prices are very reasonable compared to other bakeries.

Had a great experience. Went in unsure of what I wanted. The cake was truly amazing and exactly what I pictured. The taste of the cake was even better!

I ordered for my son a Ninja turtle cake, they did not have the turtle toy that I wanted so they asked me if they can put a picture of Ninja turtles so I said ok.
Yesterday was my son’s birthday and guess what is the color of Ninja turtles on the cake? Blue yes blue! I thought that they are supposed to be green.
The cake’s taste was good but I was so frustrated that I have to pay money for Ninja Tutles and I got the color blue and not green.
BTW another thing is the strawberry milkshake, I ordered it there when I was ordering the cake and he put 2 small strawberries only, and it was really bad.

Not that great anymore, used to go there years ago and the bread and pastries were delicious. Now, just mostly pan dulce and big cakes. The pastries were very heavy and not very tasty. Should be light and airy… Kind of run down and a bunch of old men playing cards in the corner. So sad

Best cake I have had in a long time. I went to the mill to have them make a reveal cake for my unborn baby. There was a little language barrier, but we still got through it. The cake was so moist, the flavor was wonderful and everyone kept commenting on how good it was. Very Friendly Staff, good prices.

My parents have been getting cakes from Gus since we were born. I still remember having his pineapple filling cake for most of my birthdays so of course when it was time for my wedding cake– Mill Bakery was the first place I thought of!
I went ahead and ordered a 2-​tier cake with one layer being pineapple and Bavarian cream and the other being marble. They were DELICIOUS. Gus did an amazing job with the cake and everyone loved it; we had countless guests come to us and tell us how amazing the cake was. The perfect sweetness and just the right amount of softness. It looked beautiful as well and was delivered on time.
You can tell Gus cares about the customer because everything from the consulting to the ordering to the delivery of the cake was stress-​free. I can’t recommend his bakery enough. It’s no frills and not anything super fancy but the quality of his products (I’ve tried the other baked goods at his bakery also) speak for themselves. I love wedding cakes and after attending a few recent weddings with horrendous cakes, I wanted to make sure that mine was delicious – and Gus made sure that was the case.
Can’t wait till I come back to California so I can pay another visit to Mill Bakery.

After two years of working around this small bakery I decided to give it a try. The staff was not friendly at all… Make sure you take cash or for all you debit (card) users will end up paying $ 1.00 extra if your purchase is under $ 10.00 !! YIKES!

The Mill Bakery was so good that I had to sign up for a Unilocal account to review them when I saw they had ‘only” four stars! I live out of state and wanted to order a cake for delivery at my boyfriend’s workplace for his birthday. TMB was such a pleasure to work with. Their customer service from the moment I called for a quote, to the email and phone confirmation, the timely delivery, including candles and matches, and even offering to stop for plates and forks on the way to deliver the cake. I called on a Saturday for Monday morning delivery of a single-​layer round cake with decorations and a plane theme, including pictures of cake ideas I liked. I was so impressed with their customer service, and I’ve heard numerous times how delicious the white cake with the strawberry and Bavarian cream filling was. Thank you!

I drive by this place all the time as it is right by by clinic so thought I’d stop sometime and check it out. It’s small, but has friendly staff and most importantly has a decent selection of my most beloved Pan Dulce. I can’t speak for the cakes or other pastries or donuts, but as far as the Pan Dulce, it’s delicious. Soft, flaky on the outside with hints of cardamom and cinnamon and covered in a delightful sugary dust.
Just beware of the sugar and crumbs from the bread that they don’t end up all over your face and car like they did on mine… but then again I guess I probably should have waited the 10 mins to takes to drive home :)
Also enticing was the fresh orange juice and carrot juice I saw them making– will have to check it out next time I’m done with work early!

This Bakery has it all. Best is custom order anything — cakes, cookies, cupcakes… They will bake and decorate whatever you want. :). Easy to get in and out of. Beware the doughnuts are so fresh they melt in your mouth, I tried putting one in my pocket– bad idea. :(

The best bread in Orange County so far. This place sell out super early so you must arrive very early!!! The bread is very creamy and doesn’t taste like synthetic process sugar like most places.
Love this place.

I frequent both bakery’s but the bear claw is my favorite it’s usually a policemen favorite so u have to go early to get one I’ve missed out numerous times. Also on the weekends they let a couple sell tamales very good take to my job

I came here for my husband’s cake because of the reviews. I ordered a custom decorated cake. I thought it would come out amazing since the other customer pics look great.
When they brought the cake home, I was really disappointed. The cake decoration was not even completed. My cake was half way done. It looked nothing like i asked for. It was a very simple decoration that was left undone.
They charged me top dollar since it was custom, and the cake fell below expectation.
I think I will take my business else where.

We used The Mill Bakery again this year for our sons 2^nd Birthday! Gus and his team built an amazing pirate cake… just exactly as we wanted.
I can’t speak highly enough of this bakery… from customer service to great tasting cake… I will only use them for all of our cake needs moving forward!
Best of all– they deliver AND they are more reasonably priced than most and the cakes they design are exquisite!
They’ll get all of my referrals :)

I’m going to keep it nice and simple. Came here around 11 am on a Friday, the place is small has a variety of selection from donuts to Mexican sweet bread. Their pastries were good not the best but a little above average. The older gentleman was polite and was not rushing us, which I appreciated since I had seen him pretty busy in the back making bread. Overall, great place if you want to get decent Bread and donuts. They also sell cakes which looked pretty good.

I ordered a tres leches cake with strawberry filling for my husband’s birthday. The cake looked beautiful, and it was delicious. My only complaint was that the top half was on the dry side. I had picked it up right on time, and cut into it within a couple of hours, so I’m guessing the cake had been sitting out a long time before pick up, making all the liquid sink to the bottom? Either way, the whole cake was gone within a few days so it was definitely enjoyable regardless.

Great staff and a wonderful selection. I had the ham, cheese an jalapeño croissant. So good. I definitely recommend this spot. A steady stream of locals very morning when I drive by– that to me says it al. Glad I ventured out of my comfort zone this morning.

I got a great winnie the pooh cupcake cake and it was small looking but was more then enough for my guests. So, I reccomend them. The food coloring on a few of the cupcakes tasted a little bit like food coloring, but beyond that they were surprisingly very good. I didnt expect the cake to be that awesome, and it was! The icing was very creamy and yummy to my tummy!
