Earliest available appointment was 40 days in the future. I went ahead and made the inspection appointment even though I had to wait about 40 days. The representative called me the day before the visit to postpone the inspection for 2 additional weeks as he was too busy with last minute emergency requests. My was urgent too but he didn’t care much and sounded like satisfied that I ended up cancelingl the inspection after all.

Didn’t want to come out because they’re too busy. Had 7 other contractors to give me an estimate instead.

They were very professional and gave a credible assessment of the foundation of the house. They recommended several places where minor (non-​foundation) improvements could be made. I’d recommend them to others.

They charge 350 $ just to give you a quote although I do have professional inspection done with all the info.

Jordan arrived right on time, inspected the drywall cracks, checked everything for level and recommended we not jump into a foundation stabilization project at this time. He explained the kinds of problems that really do need to be addressed, and ours were not in that category. Very professional and honest. If things get worse, we’ll call him back; meanwhile we’ll happily recommend him to others.

I made an appointment for someone to come out and check the foundation of our house since we had some dipping and creaks in the middle part of our house. Very minor and we didn’t think much about it until we had some termite inspection guy come out and told us we might have some new activity and to put plates out underneath the crawl spaces to see if there were poops on there after a month or 2. My hub went crawling around under there to check on the plates when he noticed the cement blocks holding the house in the middle didn’t look like the rest of them.
Needless to say, we were a little worried knowing nothing about foundation issues, settling, or cracks. Jordan showed up on time and went underneath to check things out.
Luckily for us, he said everything was alright. I know he specializes in something else than what I called him for, but we definitely appreciated him coming out and helping us anyways.

I’d give them six starts if I could. Jordan came to my home because I had settling issues and wanted to fix any foundation issues before we went ahead with a remodeling project. We walked through as I pointed out the cracks and door issues and he assured me that this was just normal settling for our area. He checked the perimeter and under the house as well and assured me that my foundation was secure and done properly. What a relief! And then, no charge! In this day and age you just don’t see that kind of customer service anymore. Highly recommended.

I live in a part of Pleasanton where foundation settling is a known problem. I noticed several cracks in drywall at the corners of door frames and called Foundation Solutions. Scott happened to be in Pleasanton the day after my call and stopped by to discuss my concerns. He did a walk through of the interior and exterior of the house. He spent a great deal of time educating my wife and me about foundations and what can cause problems to arise. He provided thorough answers to all of our questions and never was pushy or salesy.

I called Foundation to schedule an engineer to come out. Jordan came out, very friendly, talked with us a lot, don’t push you a lot, you can enjoy your time to decide.

I called Foundation to schedule an engineer to come out and look into the creaking into our floor. Jordan came out, diagnosed the problem and found the cause by getting down and dirty by crawling under the house. He gave me a detailed explanation on what was causing the creaking and also gave me recommendations on how I could fix the problem myself.
For all the work Jordan did, there was no charge! Hats off and a big thank you for being able to work with a company that provides expert engineers and who put customer service first! Thanks again.

I remember looking at the ceiling cracks and jammed doors in my house many months ago and feeling that the stress ezcema the house seemed to be experiencing was spreading to me and my family! Looking for a foundation repair company was the most daunting part of this whole process, since we had never dealt with foundation problems before and didn’t know who to turn to, who to trust. We invited inspectors from Treeium, Eagle Lift, Foundation Solutions, and Bay Area Underpinning to assess our home and provide estimates. Ultimately, taking projected costs, repair methods, and quality of client interaction into account, we decided to go with Foundation Solutions. And we are glad we did — from the first phone call to the last day of the project, Jordan and Ryan and the rest of the team worked hard and delivered excellent results. The entire project took about seven days, and at the end, we came in at $ 1,500 under budget.
I’d like to commend the team particularly on their service and efficiency. For instance — my mom mentioned how she had asked one of the repair specialists if one of the trees near our front yard could be removed, since its dense network of roots was right next to a pier installation. Afterwards, she went on a walk with the dog, and when she returned, she found the tree gone and carted away. There was no delay or hesitation in fulfilling her request. After the project was completed, the major cracks in the walls and ceiling have come back together… and we can open our front door again!

I did not hire these guys, but I’m giving them 5 stars because they told me how to fix my floor problem WITHOUT HIRING THEM! In 15 minutes, the estimator, Jonathan, saved me $ 1200 over the phone when I called to schedule an appointment! These days, what kind of contractor gives honest information like that? I’m giving them 5 stars for not being greedy and helping out the everyday joe!

I have an old house that had foundation problem for years. Recently, it got worse that I couldn’t even close some of interior doors. So I asked Foundation Solutions for help. After waiting for a month, they finally come and work on my house. But their work worth all the waiting. Ryan and Sean did a great job to fix the posts in the crawl space. They not only fixed the door problem, it also make my old house much stronger. All the doors are now aligned and I no longer have squeeze noise from the floor.

Jordan is a great project manager. He met with me (several times) on my schedule to go over the scope of work. He kept me well informed of the progress during each phase of the project. And the proposal he wrote was spot on — they even came in under budget. He’s a trustworthy, easy going guy who explains the process so it’s easy to understand. He also understands the technical aspects (which my engineering father appreciated).
The guys who did the work (Ryan and another gentleman), were happy to explain their progress to me and let me know what would happen next. They were very careful of my plants and bushes, and were very efficient — the project took about four days from start to finish. They were able to bring my house up to the maximum recovery possible. I watched the progress each morning and evening after work. Then, on Thursday, I came home and the yard was immaculate — the piles of dirt had been carefully filled back in the holes and the bark was replaced on top of the dirt. They even wiped off any mud that had gotten on the house and hosed off the patio. You would never know a construction project had been taking place in my yard all week!
If you need foundation work, this is the way to go!

Our landlords found these folks. Jordan and his expert team (Ryan and Scott, if I recall correctly) came in, worked hard in the hot summer sun, and got the job done. When they ran into an unforeseen snag (an addition that wasn’t properly built — the foundation wasn’t attached to the original foundation, while the walls and ceiling were), they dealt with it, I think at no additional cost, by getting a special C-​channel brace machined to link the two foundations and lift them together. They were friendly, professional, and fast. They gave an estimate that they promptly updated as soon as they found that some of the steel piers would have to be longer than predicted (they predicted 30 to 40 feet, when a couple piers ended up needing to go down 75 to 80 feet deep), but the final cost came out not too much higher than their original estimate (about 20% higher, I think). They worked well with inspector, engineer, owners, and tenants (my family). Their cement finishing guy did a great job, too, filling in the patio holes — he actually improved the slope of the patio so it now floats water away from the house rather than towards it. We were able to remain in the house while they were lifting it using their hydraulics and the sunken steel piers; it just creaked a little, the way it would during a small earthquake.
Afterwards, the house is definitely more square and we’re reassured that it’s not likely to sink farther. We can now open windows and doors that were previously stuck closed, which is great, though it’s not perfectly square. There are new gaps under the baseboards (i.e., the interior walls have lifted off the foundation in the center of the house), and wall and ceiling cracks that were patched over the years have reappeared, along with many other new ones, but these seem superficial and straightforward to patch.

Let me start off by saying any significant foundation repair is not going to be cheap. I have a house in an area of Santa Clara known for having soil that makes houses settle over a period of time. The house developed significant dry wall cracks and doors were all out of alignment and would not close. It was clear the house was no longer level and needed significant work. I shopped around for companies that do this kind of repair and found that there are not many that are competent and from that group, the price quotes for the repair ranged from high to «OMG». Luckily, I got a recommendation from a contractor to contact Foundation Solutions. In a word, these guys are great! They came in, made an assessment of the problem and provided a range of solutions at different price points. I worked with Jordan Blasingame and he has the rare mix of technical know-​how along with the good business sense to make the decision process as easy as possible. Once a decision was made on a course of action, Mike and his crew came in and did the work in a dedicated and honest manner. In fact they went over and above what was expected and that always is highly appreciated. Mike’s communication was great during the process and he always listened and addressed my concerns. I can say I was very pleased with the results for the price paid. As a postscript, a year after the work was performed, there was a slight amount of settling, I called Jordan and he came right over and determined that were a few tweaks they could do to some of the piers under the house. A crew came out and just finished the work. Wow. Great team and great customer service. I can recommend Foundation Solutions very highly.
