I loved the experience I had at Lakkar. I received a groupon for a manicure and it said I was supposed to give them 48 hrs notice but they were so accommodating. They were sweet on the phone and let me add other people to my appointment throughout the day. When I arrived I loved the environment. It was clean, didn’t look like a typical nail salon. Didn’t smell like a bunch of chemicals. Omg the recliners! I felt like I was at home getting my nails done. They brought my coffee and my cousin wine. I felt like I was getting the royal treatment. I enjoy doing my own nails but this place is worth the money :)

Guys! Toenails snagging your socks? Hands look like you’ve been trekking through Mordor? Yeah, been there. Got it fixed here. Get it done!

Lakkar is my new favorite! Friendly staff and white wine! How can you go wrong? I also feel like their prices are fair and I usually get a Groupon prior to my visit. I love the ambiance and always walk away happy with my gel mani.

Great service. They offer complimentary wine and snack. And also neck wrap. The price is around $ 35 for pedicure which is great considering the products they use. I’ll definitely come back

After moving a little too far away from my regular nail spot, I decided to give Lakkar a go after driving by on the daily.
I made my appointment via Unilocal,and arrived right on time for what I had scheduled on a Sunday afternoon.
Disappointingly, the staff is undergoing some reworking and there was not a receptionist on duty to alert the nail technicians that I had made an appointment, and they had to do some quick rearranging to accommodate my appointment, which I ended up having to wait an extra 20 minutes for.
Once we got started, I was offered a complimentary neck wrap and mimosa, which was pretty great. My nail tech was Ariana and I could not recommend her more highly. She did a great job sloughing off the dead skin during my pedicure (far beyond what I’ve ever gotten before!) and her massage was awesome too.
I will definitely come back to Lakkar for my future mani-​pedi needs and will most certainly make my appointments with Ariana.
Price wise it’s on the higher side, but you have to take into consideration they use more natural nail polishes, scrubs, etc. Also worth noting that it’s just an additional $ 10 to add shellac/​gel polish to any service. It’s not listed very clearly anywhere, but I asked and that is what they said. I had the classic pedicure and paid around $ 29 for that service. A classic manicure is around $ 19, so to get that with gel is $ 29, which is competitive from what I have seen at other salons.
Also make sure to come bare, they do charge extra for nail polish removal.

If I was basing this review off the first time that I had come in with my mom, it would be 5 stars. The first time we were there, we were offered complimentary drinks and hot neck wraps and got a serious pampering, including massage and a perfect shellac mani. However, today we were the first clients of the day. We arrived at 10:04 when we booked our appointment for 10 AM, which was their earliest appointment. Only one person was working and she said that her coworker was late. I said that’s fine, just start on my mom. Instead, she got on her phone multiple times saying she was texting her other coworkers to make sure that someone would come in if her coworker didn’t. About 10 – 15 minutes later she finally started after getting up multiple times and her coworker came and immediately started on my nails. Then a new customer came in and said she booked an appointment online, so it was clear that both of our manicure ladies began to rush so that they could be done to start the new customer ASAP. This is fine, I completely understand you only have 2 people working on a Sunday morning, but that shouldn’t have to take away from my experience when I’m going to be spending 70 dollars. I was fine with my service, however, my mom was another story. Her manicurist said since we were late that she didn’t have time to give her a massage or even put lotion on her hands. WHAT?! We were 4 minutes late and you took 10 minutes to even START her manicure, so I feel that isn’t merited. She also gave my mom unseemly advice like «oh you shouldn’t do shellac anymore because your nails are in poor shape». OK THEN, we won’t be back to bring you more business? So much for starting our Sunday out right. Our last experience was so so excellent, it was sad to see such a DRASTIC difference and receive such poor, rushed service. We won’t be back.

Loved every second. Didn’t feel rushed at all, as a matter of fact I felt like Cindy spent extra time on me. Massaged my entire arm both sides. She was amazing at that and She was courteous and spoke perfect English. The chair was a comfortable recliner, green tea and hot neck wrap= snooze ready. I will be back! A little more expensive but worth every penny.

Friendliness: On Point! Greeted with a smile, asked if I wanted tea or something to drink AND a warm neck pillow!
Cleanliness: place is very clean and orderly and they’re pretty sterile with how they do the pedicure process.
Service: got rid of only some of my calluses. I think this is the one and only reason why I can’t give it a full 5 stars. Could have scrubbed harder but I think they were trying to be gentle. I DID have a rough rough patch though. They asked intermittently how everything was, which was nice. The polish is very neat and clean!
DEFINITELY coming back AND bringing friends! Heard they have mimosas for «parties!»

I needed a day to pamper myself. Found a diamond in the rough with Lakkar Mani Pedi. Sitting in recliner with warm shoulder bag and listening to a waterfall and relaxing music while drinking a glass of wine. While I got my pedicure done… I fell asleep. My new place.

Beautiful nail salon with awesome customer service! OMG! I rarely get a chance to treat myself to something spectacular and I got it with a mani and pedi @ LAKKAR! I totally recommend!

Lakkar Mani Pedi Spa exceeded my expectations when I dropped by this nail salon earlier today with my sister and mom. The interior of the place is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and modern. When you walk-​in, you can find your cash register to the left, a shelf of beauty products right in front of you, and a row of comfy lounge chairs where the mani-​pedi magic happens. Near the back, you have a really cute lounge area, including a sofa with decorative pillows and jars filled with cookies and candy. In all honesty, I would advise to make an appointment altogether, as Lakkar can get pretty busy throughout the weekend.
Nicole helped me out with most of my session and she was spectacular! We exchanged life stories as she carefully and precisely painted my nails with three coats of a pure snow white color. She also filed, buffed, and did whatever she could to make my nails feel and look smooth. Additionally, Nicole gave me an awesome hand and arm massage with a scented pomegranate scrub. Once my glossy white coat was finished on all ten of my fingernails, Lynn took over to do the part I was most excited for — the nail art. Lynn worked fast, but man, were her skills impressive. I showed her a picture of a cherry blossom nail design that I Googled, and she replicated it beautifully. I couldn’t stop smiling after seeing the finished results, as you can see for yourself on the pictures I have added. My mother and sister enjoyed their manipedis as well. On Unilocal,this place has a really great deal that you can purchase and I would definitely recommend it for those girls’ day out or a birthday gift for a special someone!
The next time I need a mani-​pedi (maybe near Christmas or my birthday), I will definitely keep Lakkar Mani Pedi Spa in mind! :)

I got a gel French manicure with black tips. It was the best gel manicure I’ve had. Everyone was super nice and made the environment relaxing. They have a good variety of little snacks, wine, coffee and tea. I also love that they are 5 free, cruelty free and vegan. I have already received compliments on my nails and I love them.

The best manicure experience I have ever had! A perfect atmosphere, really relaxing and enjoyable; absolute clean environment and professional manicurist. Love this place and definitely revisit again! Highly recommend! :)

I loved it! It was a great experience with a great environment. I haven’t been so relaxed in a long time. The prices are not bad for what you get. Stop by their salon and have an awesome experience too!

I love everything about this place except the chairs are not very comfortable for someone like me who is 5’10″. They don’t offer acrylic services due to being a natural salon and eyelash extensions are done by appointment only.

I booked an appointment for my mom and I via Unilocal/​online, which was really convenient since it spelled out each service in detail and was relatively pain-​free. The only thing I didn’t like was that you had to provide e-​mail addresses for each guest, which initially made me think it was a gateway to spam land. Turns out (at least for me), they just used the e-​mail address for receipts and reminders.
Service was amazing. Despite having a party of 10 that was there from 12PM-​4PM, they were still able to see us relatively quickly. I was a little irritated at first, but realized that the party was the one holding up everybody else (and had a very antsy kid running around), so it was basically out of the hands of the staff. They were quick to clean up the mess the other party made and have us settle down. They were also really efficient and courteous, asking if we would like any refreshments (uhh wine? mimosa? whattttt?) and what polish we would like to choose while we waited.
We had the Lakkar pedicure and it was probably the best pedicure I’ve had. The nail techs were very thorough, without being rough or harsh. My nails look amazing and feel so clean/​refreshed. Definitely noticed a difference (or should I say absence) of calluses.
The only thing I would say is that there is a smaller selection of nail color — due mainly in part to their eco-​friendly, healthy stance on polishes.

Officially my new favorite nail spa in the South Bay, Lakkar is conveniently located next door to Bellano Coffee.
I had the pleasure of meeting the charming and enterprising owner Michelle (a week prior to the grand opening). Upon first impression, I was truly impressed with Michelle’s product line, aesthetics and open-​concept layout. I immediately thought to myself… What a perfect setting to host a nail party!
I decided to book a manicure on opening day. Thanks to Jen’s technique, attention to detail and meticulous paint job, my nails were flawless and maintained their luster and shine for an entire week. A week after I ended up hosted a mini nail party for one of my girlfriends. We indulged in Lakkar pedicures, complimentary nail art, small bites and mimosas. To top off the birthday girl’s Sunday afternoon, Michelle graciously surprised my friend with a birthday beauty bag following our treatments.
Expect the utmost in comfort. Lounge in pillowy and plush arm chair seating, separate soaking bowls (easing the mind of bacterial risks posed by that of the traditional spa chair). Delight in eco-​friendly 5-​free brands such as Zoya, and my new favorite LVX, whose Chicago-​based brother-​sister duo behind the hot new luxury vegan brand draw inspiration from the runways every season.
I absolutely recommend Lakkar to anyone and everyone who wants to try something new and/​or break away from the typical nail spa experience.

The rest is an account of my experience.
I arrived exactly at my appointment time, and was politely greeted by one of the technicians. She politely checked me in and showed me which colors were polish vs gel. She got me a glass of water, not too cold, and placed it on the table while I picked out my color.
The facility is clean, bright, beautifully decorated with wood tones, silver, navy, and crystal accents. There is a gorgeous water feature and classical music for my auditory pleasure. Though they were running behind, I felt comfortable and relaxed. The owner was present and attentive.
I had the Lakkar pedicure and manicure. This included a sugar scrub for both the mani and pedi. The pedicure included Epsom salt soak with essential oils. What makes Lakkar so different is that they don’t have pleather massage chairs with giant basins that waste water, they use natural products where possible, and offer serenity as a priority. Also, they don’t ask you to move from one station to the next for each service.
Jenana, who did my pedi, was cheerful and gave me the most detailed and lovely pedicure I have ever had. Sisi, who did my mani, is a peaceful and gentle spirit. She listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. My manicure was more than expected.
I have never experienced more care outside of a day spa in life. Please don’t go here if you are looking for the churn burn of discount nail shops.

Lakkar is an awesome place, brand new nail salon that just opened right next to Bellano Café on Stevens Creek Blvd. I decided to get a mani and picked a beautiful pink from Bio Seaweed Gel. Jen was the Nail tech and was gentle and precise, paying close attention to the integrity of my nails (very weak from biting and peeling). Jen gently filed and shaped my nails. My cuticles were pushed back and any hang nails were nipped off.
Lakkar just opened so everything was new, clean and sanitary. What I liked most about the service was that I wasn’t rushed and my hands were treated with the utmost care and attention.
The décor of the place is soft, clean, quiet and serene. There’s even a beautiful water fountain near the entrance. The price of the gel mani was very reasonable for a 5 free gel set.
I highly recommend this new business to all.
