Best science classes in the area! The summer camps are available to everyone, not just homesechoolers. This is true HANDS-​ON science, and kids love it. The idea is to «hook» kids into being curious, exploring their own hypotheses, experimenting around with lots of «real» equipment and experiments, and to get kids to engage with science. So yes, it is light on the textbook explanations behind the experiments, but for a reason. Ignite kids’ curiosity and they will be motivated to become the scientists of the future!

I like the classes, and the teacher is great! Very creative, and I love that the kids get to test things out for themselves. BUT I have an issue with the lack of explaining of the scientific principal being discussed. I really really wish there was more detail at the end, sort of a wrap up after the hands on part. I can only speak for the 5 – 8 class.

These homeschool science classes are not for the weak! Blow torches, dried ice, whips, rockets, fire! These classes start with a silly story that the children love to hear, followed by hands on crazy science experiences you will find no where else. It is completely experiential learning, and children love it. Mr Mac is the crazy mad scientist, but with a very calm and relaxed demeanor.
