I think this place is out of business. They’ve been close for like 3 weeks. No sign on the door. Mail building up. Whenever I call no one picks up. I work nearby and Drive by daily it’s never open.

I have gone to many tile stores, but what set this store apart is their customer service and their willingness to help you pick the right tile for your project. I came here at 6, but didn’t leave till 10pm, when they close at 7pm. David and Jackie are very friendly, Jackie spent a lot of time with us trying to find the right tiles and colors that would work with my bathrooms. What is great about this store is that David does tile installation so he knows how to sell the tiles along with the knowledge how the tiles should be set and what methods should be used. If you are looking for tile with expert advice this is the place to visit.

Don’t bother going to Home Depot or Lowes. Better selection and competitive prices. The ladies here were knowledgable and very helpful — I am going to use them for future bathroom renovation projects.

David Cruz and his team patiently found the right tiles for our style and we gave him a challenge to build us a custom kitty litter vanity. It turned out what we expected and his crew does excellent work. It’s like a one stop shop for tiles, plumbing, custom cabinets, remodeling and other integration with appliances.
His price though is not cheap, but you pay for the quality of his team, making his price very reasonable compared to many contractors in the market.
And Jackie is the ultimate hard working person who helped us redesign our bathroom tiles three times. We’re very picky with our designs and Jackie helped us finalize the look we always wanted.
We’re looking forward to the next project and can’t wait to hire David and crew again.

Went by the Unilocal reviews and got a tile and wood flooring job done this summer. Jackie helped find a close match for the existing wood and was very helpful getting us samples to try at home — you don’t get that at big box stores. We got Italian porcelain tiles that we are very happy with.
David was the contractor for the work and accommodated the requests I had gracefully and left us happy with the results. The various installer who did the work were friendly and capable. The project cost right what the estimate was.
I will check first with these guys for my next home remodel project.

We ordered kichen floor & backsplash, master/​bath bathroom floor & wall tiles with shower niche, and tile grout from Jackie’s shop.
I went to many shops before finding this place (famous high end shops and cheap Chinese shops), and this is the one and only shop which I could buy from and work with: gives good suggestion according to what I vaguely want, opens till late on weekdays, work with us closely to supply sufficient tiles in timely manner.
On the day I dropped by at the shop just before closing time on weekday, Jackie spent time till 9 or 10pm to choose tiles for me ! She knows through and through about her inventory since she is the owner of the shop and makes order by herself. In the end, we decided on most of the tiles she suggested on that day, and now our kitchen and bathrooms look splendid !
She is super helpful in many ways. we borrowed tile samples many times to match to cabinets, also she ordered extra tiles without charging us in case we’ll run out of it.
David helped us a lot to decide kitchen layout and also instruct our contractors even though we did not ask him for installation. He came to the construction site, and demonstrated how to mix and put high performance grout to our contractors. Also he pointed out the poor quality work done by our contractor, and gave us some cautions to check.
We are really thankful for Tile & Central for superb service and support !

I recently completed a bathroom remodel through Tile & Stone Central, and am very happy with the way the job turned out.
Jackie is pleasant to work with and did a good job of helping me select a tile and stone pattern that looks very nice in the room.
David & Jaime did a great job on the installation. The job did take longer than I expected, but part of that was my fault as I did not have all the materials ready when the work started.
I am happy to recommend Tile & Stone Central, and am planning to hire them for my next bathroom remodel. The price was significantly better than the quote I received from Home Depot, there were no unexpected additional charges, and I am pleased with the quality of the work.

I am a homeowner and I had been looking for wall tile, mosaic floor tile, and mosaic trim tile for a new shower. I had been to a few other tile stores in the San Jose and Santa Clara area, but had not been impressed with the customer service. So I looked up Tile and Stone Central.
This tile store is located off Central and is pretty easy to find, but there isn’t a big sign from the road so you have to be looking for it. Jackie runs the shop and David contracts the labor/​installation. Sometimes, if the store is very busy with other customers, you have to wait to be helped. But just have patience, working with Jackie is totally worth it! She probably spent at least an hour every day for a week with me while we went through almost every tile they have in stock. She really tried to find the style that I liked best and she even steered me away from some options that she knew were going to be too expensive. I totally value that in a business when they are more concerned with your happiness rather than just making money.
Ordering the tile through them was pretty easy and straightforward. However, since I ordered a Happy Floors tile, it took about 2 weeks to ship from Miami and the customer covers the shipping cost.
Since I didn’t have a contractor to replace our existing shower and put in the new tile, I asked David to do the installation. His quote was very reasonable. We had a misunderstanding about scheduling the start of the job since the tile arrived later than expected, but David moved his schedule around for me and was very accommodating. We finished in budget and on time.
David was also very responsive, both on email and phone. It was nice to be able to get a hold of him after the day’s work and understand what was going on, and he never seemed bothered that I had so many questions. The crew also followed my sketches and design drawings very well so that it would look the way we wanted in the end. We wanted as minimal grout lines as possible and David and his team were able to achieve that. He even helped me pick the perfect color of grout.
The end result was great! I love the new tile in our shower. The workmanship is excellent. I would go back to Jackie to buy any tile that I need in the future from her and I would use David again as well. Really professional team and great customer service.

During a last minute critical need to replace several VCT tiles in our suite, I contacted this location for help. Aside from being assured they could match tiles, they wanted to ensure the time I would stop in so somebody could give me their full attention. I arrived, presented a sample, and was assured it was no problem to obtain and I could pick up my order the following day. And they were spot on! They found our exact tiles, had them ready to load into my car. Julie and Jackie were wonderful; thanks so much for the fast help!

Tile & Stone Central is amazing. The store has very beautiful selections of tiles and laminates. The prices are much lower than other stores.
Jackie and David are so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They helped me to find exactly what I wanted. They answered all my questions. I purchased 600 square feet of tile and 700 square feet of laminate for my house. I was so pleased with my experience and ultimately my new floors.

This place is amazing! We came into Tile and Stone Central only having a short amount of time that we needed our tile and they were able to get it to us in two days. They have great great customer service Jackie and David both helped us throughout the whole process. There is a great selection of tiles to choose from at great prices.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and used Tile & Stone Central to do our countertop, floor and backsplash. They did an excellent job guiding us and working with us throughout the process. Jackie did a great job helping us choose the right tile and materials, and David and his crew did a great job with the installation, They completed the work on time, within budget and good quality. This place ROCKS!!! Superior customer service — we had a miscommunication regarding number of boxes needed but they went out of their way to immediately make things right. We were amazed at the wide selection of both traditional and modern tiles available, great prices and their very attentive staff. I’ll be using Tile & Stone Central again for our upcoming kitchen remodel and can’t wait to deal with this place again.

We just finished a major remodel of our new house in Danville. David’s crew tiled my kitchen, my laundry room backsplash, and two completely re-​done bathrooms. They did an outstanding job. Our kitchen tile was handmade, and consequently had uneven edges, making the expertise of the tiler of particular importance. Aaron, the tiler, was an artisan — he painstakingly aligned row after row of this handmade tile, highlighting its uniqueness and making it look absolutely stunning. Our laundry room and one bathroom were pretty straightforward tile jobs, but the master bath was another unique situation, with tile on the floor, floor to ceiling on three of four walls, and up the side and top of the bathtub platform. All the tile we chose for that bathroom was really big (something like 8″ x 18″, which presented its own special challenges. The result was beyond gorgeous — super-​precise and modern, arresting in its visual simplicity, but obviously due to the expert care of the tiling crew. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to all my friends. (They were all really kind people, too — my kids looked forward to greeting them every morning when they arrived.) Five stars!

We were in dire need of a master bath makeover. We didn’t have a huge budget. Jackie gave us so many options in our price range. Lots of choices! What David was able to accomplish within our budget was beyond what I expected. Everything looks modern and classy. Thank you David and Jackie!

I was lucky to find this store when looking for Solistone pebble tile retailers. The store looked small from the outside but spacy enough inside (I heard they were moving to a bigger location nearby). In my opinion, they have a very nice selection of contemporary materials (tile, mosaic, hardwood). Jackie was very helpfull in both finding the right tile for me and providing the absolutely best price, to the extent I felt uncomfortable for robbing them off :). Dave, being an installer himself, gave me a lot of good advices on the instalation and maintanance. Overall, very nice and friendly people and a nice, tastefull selection. I really enjoyed doing business with them!

We recently did a major renovation of our granny unit (a small studio unit attached to our garage). We added a bathroom, remodeled the interior to make the main room a bit larger and created a walk-​in closet. As you can imagine, we had to hire many contractors to complete this job (electrician, plumber, construction, flooring, painting, tile, granite, cabinets, etc).
Throughout this entire process, David and his team were the one contracting group that stayed true to their word, there was never any surprise fees, he followed through with every item we asked for, down to custom details. When one thing didn’t go perfectly, he made it right immediately, and it turned out even better than we had originally discussed. His portion of the job was completed on time, within budget, and is exactly what we wanted — better even. We even got compliments from the contractors we’ve brought in to do the glass enclosure. David and his team’s work speaks for itself. We will absolutely use him for any future flooring needs.
