CVA Exterminators

We are selling our house and this termite company has been a nightmare to deal with. They came out at the request of our buyer, did their inspection and quoted us a price for repairs. We thought the quote was a bit high so we had another company come out to do the repairs. Well, CVA did not like that at all. Because our buyers loan company had them do the first inspection, we had to have CVA out again to do the reinspection. Well guess what? The other licensed company’s work didn’t meet CVA’s «standards». Should a company be petty about not getting work? The other company that did the work has just as high marks on Unilocal and did an excellent job but CVA had not nit pick on two small items and therefore did not give us clearance. If you are a seller, please pick your own termite company. I’m sure CVA does good work but their conflict of interest politics sucks.

I have had this service for over two years and their customer service is awesome. I hate bugs and when I first moved in I saw a bug and called in a panic. They were so accommodating they came out immediately. A few weeks ago I needed the inside sprayed. I was leaving town for a coup, e of weeks and wanted it spayed before I left. I called the day before and of course they were booked. She went above and beyond and made a call to exterminator and told me he would start early to accommodate my request. Their service is awesome! Always prompt and friendly! Thanks CVA for excellent customer service!

Perfect! Quoted me $ 99 for termite inspection, and charged $ 95. Came out quickly, nice guy. Very professional. Would definitely use again when needed!

My wonderful wife was not at all happy when we found a couple of Oriental Cockroaches or water bugs in our downstairs bathroom area! Hubby to the rescue — actually CVA Exterminators! Their customer service is terrific. I called and the appointment was easily arranged with a very polite and helpful service representative on the telephone. Matt from CVA rode in on his White Horse — well a truck really — and explained exactly what he would do to slay the unwelcome critters. And slay them he did! It has been about 2 months now and we haven’t seen ANY bugs inside our house! We have always found the random spider in our house once in a while that I would catch with my Bugzooka, but I haven’t had to wrangle a single 8 legger since CVA did their magic. I never realized how nice it is NOT to find a spider in the shower once in a while. Matt was a super nice and friendly guy and I will definitely use CVA Exterminators again when I need them!

Found CVA online and I could not be any happier with the service. All the way from the girl who answered the phone to the tech that came to my house were such a happy pleasure to work with. WOW thank you CVA!

CVA (Matt) came out today to deal with the ants getting into our Stevenson Ranch home. He was professional, courteous, explained the process he would do and asked what questions I had. He finished in a timely manner and explained everything. I called for a same-​day appointment after returning from a vacation and they were able to accommodate me & showup on time. Highly recommend!

My next-​door neighbor had some vegetation removed from his back hillside. Apparently this caused a number of various creepy crawlies to be disturbed. They migrated to my property within hours and my wife was quickly made aware of that fact when walking in our garage! YIKES! I called CVA Exterminators. The customer service was excellent. I was able to get a next day appointment for spraying. I had to call back to reschedule when circumstances would not allow for our original appointment. The receptionist was very polite, professional and understanding. She checked and discovered that there had been a cancellation. I was able to have a technician come to the house less than 24 hours after my original appointment time! Pleasantly surprised with the quickly adjusted appointment time, I had the pleasure of meeting Matt from CVA. He was right on time and explained the entire process to me before getting started. He was patient to answer all my questions and concerns. We had specifically identified the Oriental Cockroach (water bug) initially. The treatment we received not only targeted the roaches but also spiders (including Black Widows), ants, crickets and more. Matt cleared away ALL the spider webs from around the property and took special care throughout the process. He left us with a complete explanation of the various materials used in the process including a warranty for the service. It has been about a week since the service and we could not be happier with the results! We recommend CVA Exterminators to anyone who is looking for a professional, honest, accommodating and reliable pest control company!

Nate and his team did a great job! They are super nice and friendly. I had someTermites and they came out to clean it all out. This is my first time using them, I will use them again. What I like about Nate, he was not trying to sell me anything. Was honest the whole time, most companies try to sell you something.

We had an ant invasion problem and several sightings of black widow spiders. I called these guys up last week, they came out a couple days later, and I could not be happier!
Customer Service — 5 stars. From the receptionists to the tech that showed up, all very knowledgeable and great to work with. Very friendly and honest.
Effectiveness — about a week in and no issues!
Overall — I recommend them hands down.

What I like most about this place is their customer service. They have always been very courteous and considerate. When they say they will call you right back, they will. I had my home sprayed for ants and the technician that came out was very knowledgeable, courteous, and listened to my concerns. In my dealings with CVA, I have never felt pressured to sign-​up for any contract, or add additional services. I usually need one treatment per year to take care of our yearly ant infestation. I highly recommend CVA and will continue to use and recommend them.

We have ant problems every summer. This year was especially bad. We had to use vacuum to suck them up every morning. So we called CVA. A tech person came next day, put some gel here and there inside of the house and sprayed all around the house. We haven’t seen any ants inside of our house any more! It was so quick and efficient. I am very happy with the tech and the result.

These guys are great. Santa Clarita has a bad ant problem especially in the summer time. I made a call to CVA in the morning and they came out the same afternoon. We’ve been using them consistently for the last few years and pleased to say very satisfied with the results. Courteous and professional service along with great results, what more could you ask for.

We needed a termite inspection for a VA mortgage refinance and after calling several other local businesses, Dan was the only one who was familiar with this process and the VA requirements. He took the time to explain it to me in detail and I felt instantly confident in his expertise. To make matters even better, their quote was lower than some of the others I had received.
Dan completed the inspection in a very timely manner and thoroughly explained his recommendations. We were limited by our HOA as to who could complete the required repairs and treatment, and because their quote was so competitive, we were authorized to use CVA for the termite treatment. Again, the work was scheduled and completed in a very timely manner and I especially appreciated the fact that they have a 1 hour appointment window as opposed to the common 4 hours!
I had several telephone conversations and email correspondences with Talin, and she was consistently friendly and professional.

I was working in my yard and noticed all around my yard the ants and bugs seem to be extremely active this year. Afraid that the ants would make there way into the house, I made a call to CVA and they promptly came out and treated my yard for pests. The service tech Dan was friendly, efficient and explained the process very well! If you are having Pest or Termite problems, this is the best company in the southern California area!!!

After calling a lot of exterminating companies, I decided to go with CVA and have no regrets. To begin with, CVA had excellent customer service over the phone which was totally different than other companies who I felt were pressuring me to get services I didn’t need.
The tech that came to our home was knowledgeable, patient and seemed to genuinely care about helping us.
When we called them 3 weeks after the initial spray regarding another issue we had, they sent another tech to spray the home again for free with no questions asked which again shows me that their priority is customer satisfaction.
Would not hesitate to use them again.

I interviewed several exterminating companies and decided to use CVA. The representative was honest and told me that I did not need to tent my home as the previous four companies suggested. He spent an hour inspecting my home (only 2900 square feet,) and reviewed my options with me in half an hour and answered all my questions. I was so impressed with his thoroughness, honesty, and professionalism (he was recommending the less expensive service because in his opinion the others were «overkill» based on the results of his inspection.) After Nate, the representative left, I contacted CVA to complement CVA for hiring an amazing employee. To my surprise Nate turned out to be one of the owners! Nate told me that it makes a difference when the owner goes out and inspects because of the vested interest in serving the customer properly and this helps with return business. Nate is correct! I will recommend CVA to my friends and family, and fellow Unilocalers. Also, my contractor who had to coordinate with CVA was similarly impressed with CVA. My contractor shared that he has doesn’t recommend any exterminating companies because he has never experienced a reputable one. He said that he will recommend CVA and use CVA personally.

First time throwing a review out on Unilocal but I must say, these guys deserve the recognition. Very courteous on the phone and very professional when at my house. The receptionist got back to me on a question I had concerning our guinea pig Roxy. She even double checked with a technician. Plus, when tech was spraying and knocking down webs around outside, I noticed that he was very thorough. Good Job Nate. I am definitely going to use them as a maintenance program. Oh and by the way, no more spiders. I received a 10% discount for mentioning Unilocal… not as good as Michael D states in his review, but I still took it.

Great service. I called in after looking up exterminators on Unilocal and we had the tech over within a day. The tech took the time to educate me, answer my questions and spray the hell out of those ants.
Can’t say enough good things about their service. And, I got the 15% discount for mentioning Unilocal to them!!!
