M&M Sheet Metal and Rain Gutters

How is anyone not satisfied with M&M Sheet metal??? IF A COMPANY IS BUSY, IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO!!! I get so tired of people whining «they cant get to me for 2 weeks» seriously? Do you want it done right? Or do you want it done right now? Mike came out to my house, gave me a bid a couple days later, and had his crew do the installation. It is perfect, the gutters and siding are FLAWLESS! On top of the prompt response time and perfect work, this is an el nino year and they are crazy busy. Seriously, go to Home Depot and get the gutters your self if you want it done tomorrow.

Very disappointed in their customer service. Had used them about 10 years ago to replace downspouts and gutter covers. Work was done professionally and competently with no issues. When my wife called today to inquire about coming out to inspect the work they had done and clean the gutters out, prior to a projected heavy rainy season, she was told «we are too busy and are restricting our work to Santa Clarita area only.» When my wife mentioned we were long standing customers, had been happy with their prior work, etc., the woman answering the phones said «our records don’t go back that far.»
Considering I have all the paperwork and would have been happy to send to show time and date they installed everything, it was a shame they seemed not to care about old customers. Will not be recommending this company to anyone since they couldn’t be bothered even recommending someone in our neighborhood we could call instead.

I recently needed to replace the rain gutter on the front of my house and also needed to add rain gutters around the perimeter of my flat roof garage. The results are amazing. I’m very satisfied with the quality of work and materials used. I would highly recommend M&M Sheet Metal and Rain Gutters for your residential work.

M&M promptly returned my phone calls. They did a excellent job, and their prices are reasonable. A portion of my gutters separated from the roof. (the nails pulled away & fell off). The way my gutters are secured, are obsolete. They do not use nails anymore. They secured 2 areas that were separating. Did a good job. I am about to call them again, to do the rest of my gutters.

I used them for my beautiful 2 story home in Bridgeport on the lake, fabulous job! I have watched them work in our community for over 15 years and I am so glad I chose them. Thank you for your quality product and fair prices! Job well done :-)

M&M Sheet Metal built our Corrugated Patio Cover and they really are top notch! Mike Burgess and his team did a fantastic job and are very professional, friendly and prompt. We had several last minute changes and they accommodated us in a blink! I highly recommend them and we will be bringing them back for rain gutters.

My experience was completely positive. I met with Roy and outlined my concerns about the gutters around the house. Roy was willing to listen and offered insight and a good plan to renail, reveal, and repitch the gutters. (My contractor said the price was reasonable.) we set a date for the work to be done.
The worker arrived exactly on time on the day we agreed upon. He was polite, prepared, professional, and got right to work. After he finished the job on the gutters he walked me around and described what he had done.
I can recommend this company to do a good job on repairing and renovating gutters on houses.

Had them out recently to repair a few things the original builder missed. Quick response, fair estimate, great communications, quality work. I would recommend them highly.

The Short and Sweet… Do not use this company. Poor customer service, unreliable service, extremely poor craftsmanship.
Description Of Work:
M & M Sheet Metal installs metal siding and rain gutters. I contracted them to install a custom aluminum siding material to a new construction home that I have been building in Venice, Ca for the past 2 years. The short story is: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND GENERAL LACK OF CONCERN ABOUT THE PROJECT.

The original contract was signed in July 2014. The job, which should have taken 2 weeks maximum was completed January 22, 2015. Everything started out ok. The owner of the company, Mike Burgess, came out to the construction site where we discussed my ideas for siding and I showed him some samples. I told him there was a house in the neighborhood which was using the exact material that I wanted to use. We went over to take a look and I was very impressed when he knew exactly what the material was and where to get it.
At that point I felt very confident in hiring his company to order and install the siding.
That’s where things changed. In our project it was important to have things progress in a certain way in order to accomplish necessary tasks. In the case of the siding, they wanted to use the scaffolding that we were using to stucco the building. But we had a deadline that required us to take the scaffolding down to allow other work to continue. We gave M & M the dates we needed to have them complete their work in order to meet other commitments. It was almost impossible to get updates as to when the siding material would arrive at their yard so we could not get a firm date or at least a general schedule. I asked Mike if he could send his crew out to install a required underlayment before the siding arrived to save time. His crew did show up and told me it would take 3 days to do this install. On the 2^nd day they told me that they would come back the next day to finish. They NEVER SHOWED UP/​
Along these lines, I had 3 appointments with Mike to come out to check on the project and verify the measurements for the siding order. One appointment he was supposed to meet with me. The other 2 he was supposed to meet with my foreman. He never showed for any of these meetings.
When they final got delivery of the siding and started the install, after about 3 or 4 days they actually ran out of material and could not finish the job. It took another month for the new siding to arrive. When they started the initial install they had 3 installers working but soon there was only one, doing a job that needed a minimum of 2 to have everything be installed correctly.
Not only was there one installer, but his attitude was «I could’t care less» and the quality of the work was so poor that we had to have him come back in numerous occasions to fix things that demonstrated extremely poor craftsmanship. We had the original house a few blocks away as a reference and the quality of their installation was so far superior to ours that we knew that ours could be done in the same way. Of course they used a different installation company.
During all this I was trying to communicate with Mike via email, text, and phone. Although he did occasionally respond he never kept us in the loop so we never really knew when someone would show up to work. The single installer would show up un announced and leave without ever checking with the foreman to ok his work.
Finally, when I got the final invoice for the job, I told their office that until the job was approved by our foreman AND a rep from their company, I would not make the final payment. On Jan 21, 2015 I sent an email to their office staff and to Mike Burgess, the owner, saying that I was ready to make the final payment if they would simply send out their installer to make final tweaks and use touch up paint which I had order several months before, but had only been order within the last few weeks.
Upon received that email, Mike Burgess, responded by saying that the installer had come out a few days before so what was the problem. The problem was he came and went like a ghost, did not confer with anyone and we had know idea that he had been there. This scenario was typical of the lack of communication from this company.
I have attached some images showing samples of the poor craftsmanship and installation for this $ 25,000 job. I think they speak for themselves. My advice: Only hire this company at your own risk.
