Had Guy Ziv out to my home on Friday 4÷22÷16. He gave a few options to correct existing problems which I agreed with. His crew showed up promptly on Monday morning 4÷25÷16 the work was done by afternoon and looks fantastic! I highly recommend «Rain Gutter Specialists» for any work that requires rain gutters. Bravo!!!

Great experience with this company. I requested quote on Unilocal.They got back to me within 2 hours. They promptly scheduled free quote and showed up on time. Quote was given right on the spot. They were %25 less than the other quote. They performed the work a day later showed up on time and we’re extremely professional. Left the area clean. I am very pleased with their customer service and actual work. In addition they nicely connected down spouts to rain barrels. I highly recommend Rain Gutter Specialists.

Procrastination. Since it rarely rains I never got around to having gutters installed on our house; other projects kept taking priority. After discovering that water had been cascading off the roof and draining under the foundation causing other issues I realized the error of my thinking. Guy showed up on time, gave us the proposal and installed the gutters the following week.
Now we just need it to rain again; but not before the french drain gets installed :)

THE BEST RAIN GUTTER COMPANY IN SOCAL!!! I hired Rain Gutter Specialists (RGS) for our house in West L.A. 10 years ago and they did an amazing job. Each year, they came and cleaned out the gutters to make sure they were still in good shape.
I recently moved to Thousand Oaks and hired a local company in the area to install the gutters. Big mistake! The local company’s seams were terrible and the end caps were a mess. They looked awful. I asked them to stop work and called Guy from RGS to come out ASAP.
Some of the local company’s gutters were on the ground and I was able to see the HUGE difference between the materials the local company was using and the materials RGS uses. You cannot compare — RGS’s gutters and downspouts are solid and substantial. You could bend the other company’s gutters with your fingers.
Now, that the work is done, you can see the difference in workmanship.
I would not hire anyone else.

From the beginning to the end, the service they provided was excellent. Lior gave us the estimate and did the final scheduling, Beverly assisted us in scheduling and answering some questions we had, and Arturo installed our beautiful seamless rain gutters. Everyone was extremely cordial and helpful. They did such an amazing job that I’ve already recommended them to a neighbor who was also impressed with the work!

Great job by Guy and his crew. He came right out and walked me through his estimate in detail, and since mine was a pretty straightforward job, he was able to schedule me in less than a week. The installation crew was punctual, courteous, worked quickly, and cleaned up the property well after the job.
There was one small issue w/​drainage at one of the downspout locations, but Guy sent out another crew and they were easily able to fix the problem in just 15 minutes.
All in all, a very positive experience.

This was a perfect exchange of service. My wife and I just bought a house and after a huge rain storm we realized we did not have gutters. We looked on Unilocal and found The Rain Gutter Specialists. I was greeted by a wonderful woman who answered all my questions and worked with us on our appointment. The owner Guy came to our house and gave us an assessment of what needed to be done, mind you it was during a torrential down pour. He could’ve as easily canceled but instead showed up and walked around our house and gave us our options. His crew showed up about five days later to install the gutters. The installation crew were has professional and nice as Guy himself. We were extremely happy with the end product and result and our neighbor even asked us who did the work because they are officially jealous. I will definitely refer them to all my friends.

If you want reliable and great service this is your place! The owner came out to give us an estimate on a day it happened to be raining. Couldn’t be a nicer person! We were schedule for Feb 7^th and when the rain stopped they were able to fit us immediately. The workers were nice and quick and did an amazing job!!! Even our neighbor is jealous of how well everything looks and the great job they did.

Rain Gutter Specialists did a great job with our gutters. I’m extremely happy with the job and the gutters look amazing. Everywhere we called told us that they were booked up and to be honest so did these guys. However, what they told me was that if they could fit us in in between jobs, they would call and sure enough, I got a call and it was done! I would have posted sooner but I was waiting for some rain to see how our gutters hold up and they are great.
So a few things: First, they came out sooner than expected– that was great. Second, when they came out to do the job, they were efficient, they cleaned up after themselves and they were professional. Third, for whatever reason the check I gave them was filled out incorrectly, I called then mailed them a new one and they were super understanding about my screw up.
Overall this was a great experience for me as a customer and they did a great job.

I had a great experience working with the The Rain Gutter Specialists this week. We had a specialized gutter project that needed to be done fairly quickly. After being told «no» by a half dozen other local companies, Guy carefully listened to all the specifics of our job and helped us figure out a great solution.
Guy was very quick in responding to my various calls and emails and we even used Face Time to look at specific gutter parts that he had stock. They were one of the few companies that carried the contemporary style gutters we wanted. Best of all, Guy was very patient in explaining details to us, gave us great advice, and helped meet our deadlines.

I would gladly work with them again in the future.

I have had issues with gutters since buying my home a few years ago. With El Niño on its way, I called the company and they fit me in.
Not only did they fit me in, they were able to shift some things around and they started installing new sections the same day.
The installation was professional and efficient, the installer took the time to show me imperfections in my roof and fascia, accommodating some of the issues with creative workarounds.
Fast, knowledgeable and efficient, and the price wasn’t bad either. Trust these guys, they’re the real deal!

Following the other 5 star reviews — these guys are great. Had a small-​ish job and wanted to get it scheduled before the end of the year– and this is a busy year for gutter men. Worked with my timetable even though I wasn’t a major job for them, asked for nothing upfront other than my commitment I’d be on site. Guy was attentive and focused on me whenever I got in touch even though he is obviously a very busy man. Just old-​fashioned customer-​first kind of people, these are the types of guys you want on your job!

Thanks to Lior and team for accommodating our job on short notice and doing a terrific job. It’s been a few weeks of rain and the gutters are performing so much better than what we had previously. Mary in customer service also followed up with us after the job was complete and gave us great confidence in the parts and labor warranty. I would recommend and hire again.

These guys are the greatest. They were super understanding when I had to postpone our appt and even refunded our initial payment.
Guy was so informative, he had lots of colors to choose from and helped me figure out which white matched (way too many white paint colors). He advised adding more down spouts to handle the long run on the back of the house and what didn’t need to be done.

I contacted the Rain Gutter Specialist after reading their Unilocal review. I got very mixed messages from them. At first they weren’t going to be able to come out until December and then they had an opening with in just a few days.
The sales person came out and I could tell he wasn’t very excited about our small job. He actually tried to sell me on another company. He said he was going to call me back with a number to call. I waited a week and didn’t hear from him.
So I finally gave him a call back and he didn’t remember be until I gave him the date we had our meeting. He finally remembered me and gave me a number for another company. So I called the other company but they didn’t even service my area.
So I was like «Do you want to do this job or not?» He said that he did but it would be over a month before I could get them installed. I agreed and gave him a deposit.
2 days later when I was going to work a Ran Gutter Specialist truck showed up and I had no idea that they were coming.
Bottom line is that got them installed. They look good and they seem to be a lot better then home depot gutters. They just need to work on their customer service and scheduling.
I paid $ 450 for one L shaped gutter of 31′ plus the down spouts which wasn’t a bad deal.
I know that they are crazy busy right now and swamped with calls about El Nino. I think they are a good company that’s a little «under water» right now with calls. They did a good job but just had a few problems with scheduling

Lior came round Sunday at 8.30am prompt as planned… Had a good look around and gave me some suggestions along with the quote. We decided to pull the trigger on it and Lior managed to fit us in on a cancellation cutting the wait time down considerably. The guys came as planned, removed the old original guttering and replaced it with the seemless custom gutter the rain specialists carry. The job took next to no time and the guys were very professional even with the clean up afterwards.
We had the first rain yesterday and where I had had water pooling at the side of the house there was none. The gutters worked great… we couldn’t be more happy

How sexy are gutters and downspouts? They’re not. Even to most contractors, or roofers who install them. You’ll hear the term ‘standard’ thrown around a lot. When you hear «standard». Think «ugly».
Lio and Guy love what they do. They love gutters. These are guys who talk about the shapes and sizes of downspouts with the same passion that Donald Trump talks about… himself. Just know that the job will get done with the right look, on time and on budget. Why mess around with anyone else?

You won’t find a more helpful and professional gutter specialist, hence their name. Guy was incredibly friendly and gave extensive ideas on my particular gutter situation. He clearly has been doing this a while.

This is a well run business that is reasonable and honest. I got two bids before El Niño of 2015 and there’s was about $ 500 cheaper. They had excellent reviews so I dug right in. They called and fit me in about a month early, craftsmanship was very nice (I got on a ladder and checked) and communication was great.
I also didn’t have my rain barrels the day of my early install. I was able to schedule Leo’s team to come by and installed them — no extra cost — no fuss. They just wanted to do the job right.
When calling remember they are extremely busy right now haha exactly why I called early.

This is my factual experience with your company! I am sorry you are not happy with hearing about it.
I don’t place many poor reviews, but your continued requests for me to remove my review, have forced me to update the facts, unfortunately!
I called both of your Unilocal listings! Yes, You have 2 with the same El Nino message to return calls in a week.
I also called during normal business hours the next day between 8 am and 6 pm, several times only to find that no live person answers the phone.
You returned my call only after my review was posted, to ask me to remove it!
Please Stop, Calling, Texting and Sending Unilocal Messages to have me remove my review!!! I have had to block them all! This is clearly more important to you then calling customers trying to have you provide a service.
However, I will say, I never used your services to know the quality or lack of!

This is really an ideal business. Leo is kind and courteous and responsive. Him and his team care about their work and their client. I find the price to be fair, Leo came by once and was on time, his team came by for install and they were prompt and polite. Went through everything step by step.
My gutters look great, they did an excellent job. Materials seem strong and esthetically pleasing. Called Leo at the end to thank him and he reminded me of his guarantee and to be sure to call him if any issues. Clearly takes pride in his work and business and Made this home upgrade easy and totally hassle free.

My initial estimate with Lior was very rushed left me a little disappointed. After that review, the owner Guy contacted me almost immediately and wanted to come out for a follow up appointment. We had that appointment today and now I understand all the 5 star reviews.
Guy was very thorough in his evaluation. He looked at the areas I was concerned with, ran water on those areas and tracked where it ran and pooled. He checked the drainage I had and the condition of the fascia board and stucco. He was very nice and thorough and he gave me a lot of solid advice that didn’t involve me spending a ton of money. In a very nice way, he told me my house had been here for 75 years and never had gutters and was doing just fine so why fix it if it isn’t broken.
Now, I think my only disappointment is that I don’t need gutters and don’t get to do business with Guy and his company.

I got rain gutters installed for my home from these guys in ⁸⁄₂₀₁₄. The company is very professional and prices competitive. They are not the cheapest but their quality of material used and cooperation are excellent. They do what they promise and I highly recommend them.

What can I say about The Rain Gutters Specialists that has not already been confirmed by others? We found them not through a recommendation from someone we knew, but just randomly browsing the web. If you think rain gutters are just a gimmick of getting you to spend extra money on nonsense, then I would advise you to google it before calling companies for an estimate. If you have ever lived in or visited places where rainfall is sadly a norm, you should notice rain gutters are probably an overlooked yet integral part of a house/​building. Now, you can argue that this is SoCal and we do not get rain much. But if you want to preserve your home or building for the long run starting today, then having rain gutters can be quite beneficial. I’m not going to try to type out the benefits of installing rain gutters because we have the internet for that. I will recommend you doing your research on them though. It’ll help you understand key concepts of having them installed at your place.
Everything starts off with that first phone call. I called The Rain Gutters Specialists sometime this past December. I would admit, I should have probably called them around August-​September and I will tell you why in a bit. I spoke with Beverly, a very kind and friendly person to converse with. She was patient with all my questions. Is the product American made, how durable are the gutters, it’s not from China right? Trust me, I had more inquiries. After figuring out what I’m exactly looking for, she set up a date and time for someone to come out and look at the property for an estimate. The week of the initial visit, Beverly reached out to me to confirm the date and time.
Our estimator was named Guy. To my surprised, he’s the owner. AND IT WAS A SUNDAY. Yes, these guys work on Sundays. Guy was real cool and after speaking briefly about what exactly I wanted done, we toured the perimeter of the property. He pointed out exactly where gutters were needed and areas where it was not necessary (like if you have A frames). He also suggested where the downward spouts could be mounted and the best flow of water would travel; obviously away from your foundation. He had samples of the American made products they use and what type of installation kits/​devices they worked with. He also had samples of other types of products made of cheaper materials. All this stuff was thrown in the back of his tiny Prius.
Guy pointed out a downward spout area where water may travel back towards the foundation due to elevation differences. FYI, this was in my garden area. Instead of trying to up sale me on some fix that would add on an additional cost, he told me to go Home Depot to find this accordion looking downspout. This device is made of plastic and was under $ 10. You can really install this yourself but Guy told me tell his guys to take care of it when they were there. Awesome recommendation. Make sure if you need one to pick out a color that blends in with the surrounded area. I saw brown and green ones at the store.
Installation day finally came and a van pulls up. I was greeted by Arturo and Manuel, the two man team for the job. Custom fitting is done out the back of the van, it’s quite interesting to see how these guys work. Arturo went over the project and suggested different ways for the downward spouts for better cosmetic purposes. I was home the entire time these guys were working on my place and it did take them 3 – 4 hours to complete.
My only drawback to this entire process was that my installation date was set for early February. Remember, I said I should have called them out in September? Now you know why. It was kind of my fault for not calling them sooner. When the rain season comes drizzling, it’s inevitable that rain gutter companies will see a spike in calls and jobs. I recommend that you call them in advance so that you can get them installed before the rain comes around. We did have a few rainy days since installing the gutters and I have immediately noticed some noticeable differences around my place. The biggest thing I saw was the dryness around the immediate area around my house (most importantly: the foundation). Whereas before, the area would be soaked. This was a great sign that the water was now filtering further away from my house which was the my ultimate goal.
A true happy camper here and I appraise everyone at The Rain Gutters Specialists. Thank you Beverly, Guy, Arturo, and Manuel for all your help. I would recommend rain gutters in general but if you’re looking for a legitimate company to get the job done, The Rain Gutters Specialists have my stamp of approval.
