This dentist does leaves gaps in the crowns called margins which leads to infection and makes you lose your tooth. She left me with these open margins and she is not taking responsibility for her malpractice. Sent her my lawyer letter but refuses to refund me my money. I’m filing a claim with insurance and taking her to small claims in Van Nuys. Dr Castillo doesnt’ care about your dental health and even if after her crowns were verified as horrible, she still says her xrays show they are perfect. She needs glasses then. She only wants to make money and lie to make more and more money. She was harassing me After I told her a wanted a cleaning that I wasn’t require to pay a co pay free for me, She mentoned desperately many times that I need it deep cleaning instead very often over and over like trying to close a sale and charge my try to charge my insurance $ 700 so I went to a Dr Saeid Razi in Valencia, and he is a good honest dentist from UCLA and teaches there. They said I am fine not need any deep cleaning just regular cleaning. Please all of you go to DRRAZI in Valencia. He is the best most honest dentist and say Gina and Alex referred you. Please be careful with that lady. Most of us don’t want to lose money but how about money and your teeth? It has been a nightmare. DRRAZIDRRAZIDRRAZI! My father is a retired dentist in Chicago and he did not get return calls either and agrees that this is not ethical. This is the first time I have had to find a dentist and am so happy that I found Dr Razi afer all this. She will be having a peer board review by the local dentist chapter soon for any of you who have had the same issues. IF you have had work done by this dentist especially crowns, please go get them checked by Dr Razi as you will probably lose your teeth in a year from infection. I question her license and she shows up 1 hour late for dentist appointments when there is no one in the office. RUN!!!

Dr. Castillo 2 stars Staff 1 star The dentist is a nice person. She appears to care about your dental health but her style is not up to par. Cleanings are just ok. I’ve never left her office with that«just got my teeth cleaned» feeling. Customer service is not good enough for me to stay. I came across this place because I needed a dentist that accepts both a PPO and HMO. Great! As of today, I’ve been rescheduled three times so far and I’ve only been a patient here for 5 months. The dental assistants do not introduce themselves before starting to work on you-no smile, no greeting, so it’s been awkward. My social security number was repeated out loud in front of other patients and my husband’s employment information was shared in front of other patients on a different occasion. Shady practices. This establishment is small with 4 – 5 crammed chairs in the lobby. They are open 1 Saturday a month. Inquire within for details. Dated technology. No bells or whistles.
