The only reason I’m giving a one star is because the chick that just helped me out at the cash register gave me so much attitude for a station that wasn’t working saying that I was doing it wrong. She full on gave me the attitude that implied that I was stupid. Like girl I’ve been driving for 4 years now I’m pretty sure I know how to pump gas. Like seriously this girl needs to learn how to be nice. I’m a freaking server at a restaurant and I don’t even relatively speak like that.

For a place that is supposed to consistently offer one single important commodity, it appears to be out of commission for repairs way too often. On two separate occasions where my tank was nearly empty I drove there and arrived only to see that they were closed for repairs, again. Won’t ever be going back.
Plus it’s always busy and difficult to access if you’re coming down from Rockwell because you can’t U-​turn.

Busy intersection and the station is always full of cars. Sometimes there’s too many customers waiting in line, and today there was a gas truck taking up a couple of spaces pumping gas into the station. Prices are pretty low here compared to the rest of the city’s other gas stations. Haven’t been inside the convenience store so I can’t give a complete review today.

Yup — Shell gas station. Here’s the low down on it.
It is very popular during peak drive times. Early morning, after school, evening drive are always packed due to its convenience to gas and go on the freeway down the road.
Things that are good here are that the owners keep it clean. I often see a guy wiping down the pumps and taking out the trash. The squeegees have clean window cleanser in it and aren’t all beat up. Pumps have little tv’s to pass the 2 minutes you are pumping in case you need your attention filled constantly. The air machine works — yes you heard it right… air! Sometimes its the little things that matter.
The snack shack is pretty standard, and the employees are friendly. Oh and another plus is if you have to go late at night it is very well lit. So despite the occasional line to pump this is a good station gas up at.
Pro Tip — Don’t forget your Ralph’s Rewards to $ave on the cost for gas!

I mean it’s your regular Shell Gas Station. Nothing really special about it, but it can get pretty hectic sometimes since it’s location by the Valencia Mall (yuck).
I prefer the Shell Gas Station on the Old Road and Rye Canyon, though.

Only two diesel pumps at the entire station. Inconveniently located too!!! Smack dab in the middle of two regular gas bays. If you don’t drive a diesel vehicle please leave the pumps available for the people who do.

i used to go here on a daily but after today’s royal f**k up I’m never coming here again. I paid with a gift card and the cashier didn’t ask me how much I wanted to fill up he automatically assumed I wanted the whole balance of my gift card used. I told him I didn’t want to use the whole and he asked me if I wanted to cancel and that I would automatically get my money back after I’m done filling up. uhrmm it’s just like a bank card dumb a$$. so after filling up the amount I wanted I then called to see if I had a balance left over, just as I thought I had NOTHING LEFT OVER!!! I then told him I don’t have anymore funds, like I said in the beginning, and he tried to argue with me. some customer service you have!!! he should be fired for the way he treated and talked to me but then again he does work at a gas station and no career.

The cashier was nice to me. Five out of five for that. It’s at a great location, across the street from the big mall I always wind up going to when I have a sore throat for some reason (I’m not from the area… no, no, NO!).
They sell ice creams at reasonable prices!!! If I hadn’t had a 800 calorie cinnabon, I would have been there and done that. They didn’t have It’s Its brand but… well, welcome to Southern California :-/​

I was in a hurry and the place was packed. My station didn’t accept my card so I had to go inside and prepay. I paid for $ 50 and the pump stopped around $ 25. The attendant insisted I was still pumping gas as I stood in front of him asking for help. There was a long line and he didn’t have clue so I forfeited the extra gas and filled up at Costco the next day.

Too busy. Cars coming from all directions at the pumps. 4 were out of service. Lines were long and pumps were ALL out of paper. Customers needed to go inside to get receipts. Adding to the wait.
But gas is gas. Who avoids a station based on Unilocal?And why am I rating a gas station?

They are selling watered down gasoline. I first discovered it 2 weeks ago when my brand new car started hesitating and stalling. I took it to the dealer and they said the gas was watered down. I need 91 octane for my car and it wasn’t getting it because it was watered down. I added octane booster and it fixed the problem. I went back a week later to make sure it wasn’t a one time thing and sure enough it started messing up again. I put in more octane booster and it was fine. The next time I filled up at a local Chevron and I did not have a problem.

I frequent this gas station, usually about 3 times per month. The pumps work well, and the hoses don’t present too much resistance when maneuvering into position. Windshield fluid is normally abundant, though there usually aren’t any paper towels available for buffing out streaks.
The ambiance is pleasant, with trees clustered along the northwest corner. Given its location at a major intersection, access can be a big tricky, and you’ll occasionally have to wait a couple minutes before finding an open pump
The pay-​at-​the-​pump system can sometimes be a bit sluggish, and more than once I’ve had to go inside to retrieve my receipt. The cashiers are always friendly, however, and provide crisp and efficient service. The store is too cramped, though, and I don’t like their selection of sunglasses.
Overall, I am satisfied — but not impressed — by this station. I gave if 3 stars instead of 4 based primarily on the price, which is normally slightly higher than normal. I would recommend this station to a friend or loved one, but mostl because it has such a convenient location

I haven’t had any problems with the staff either.

This Shell is at a busy intersection. Kinda hard to get out of there at rush hour…

(Pumped 7÷18÷12 W @ 5:30pm): One of the cheapest stations in Santa Clarita… and one of the busiest!
I usually visited this Shell Gas Station because it’s so close to work, it’s on the way to catch the 5 South freeway, and historically one of the cheapest gas stations in the area. As you can see, this station worked into my favor. The only problem with this station was that the location was too good and the low prices brought everyone in the area to fill up here. To my disbelief and astonishment, this particular day wasn’t as busy!
This particular station was rather spacious but only had eight pumps of small with two wide aisles that housed two pumps on each side. Pulling into this station can also be a chore since it’s only accessible from one direction on McBean Pkwy. Or one direction on Valencia Blvd. (there are street islands on both streets so no access for traffic in the other direction). I easily pulled into my own aisle, gave my Ralphs Reward card, swiped the credit card, and the gas was released! Prices had just gone up again so it was relatively cheap ($ 3.79/gallon). I amused myself and watched whatever insipid programming was shown above the pump. Kind of ghetto as the screen was all scratched and tagged up by, I assumed, bored shitless teenagers. the My tank was quickly filled up… with barely 11 gallons of gas. Good for another four days or so!
There was no service to speak of. I mean, it was all self-​serve. The pay station accepted both my Ralphs Rewards and credit cards, the gas hosed flowed quickly, there were squeegees and paper towels, and I got a receipt. Oh, and they had an air and water station.
Parking wasn’t/shouldn’t be any issue — it’s a gas station! If you need to park, then something is wrong! However, there was plenty of room all around as I previously mentioned, so yeah, park if you need to.
Overall, This Shell Gas Station was like any other gas station… purely functional and nothing else. I found value as noted by the prices I quoted above (total bill was around $ 41.00; no tip required), so still cheaper other nearby stations. The atmosphere was clean, simplistic, it had a mini-​mart, and the location again was good. The attire is pure casual, so put on the t-​shirt, boardshorts, and flip flops. And they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX!

Ice Cream, Soda, Chips and other snacks, plus refrig. sandwiches! I wish they had beer/​cartons of cigs, but it’s not their fault. It’s open all night and services a lot of local areas for late night snacking. Staff is polite and the place is clean.

New equipment and very clean. It must be a new place. Very convenient location when you’re heading back to the freeway from «AwesomeTown» on Valencia Blvd or McBean.
If it had a car wash and was under $ 3.00 a gallon, I would have given it 5 stars.
