Business Owner

I’m Ben Yokel, electronics engineer and owner of Abacus Computer Repair in Santa Cruz, CA. I’ve been involved in electronics all my life joining the industry in 1976 when I ran a consumer electronics repair business in Naples, Florida. I moved to California in 1982 and joined the engineering ranks in the famed Silicon Valley spending the next 20 years in electronics engineering positions including: 3 years as Engineering Group Leader for Hoya Photomask, Sunnyvale, and 7 years as Engineering Manager for Photronics Inc., Milpitas. Since 1999 I’ve been bringing that talent and expertise to bear on solving client problems here in the Monterey Bay area and in the Silicon Valley.
