I’ve been here a few times always without an appointment, but never had to wait. Great service, the manicurist was very thorough and Lana does an amazing job with eyebrow shaping.

I do not think my nails and brows have ever looked this good! Thank you so much — you ladies so incredibly made my day!

Loved my experience here! Everyone was very friendly and paid personal attention to each customer. Gel manicure was $ 30 and pedicure was $ 18, very affordable for great quality. I’ll definitely be back

Super cute place! They have fun options and combinations to spicy up your mani pedi experience. It’s a great place for a nail date, they have cute booths set up for two people. The mani pedi lasts long. Everything is super clean! Well done!

This place gets one star because the manager is nice and aesthetically it’s a nice looking nail salon.
It has been 8 days since I got a full set acrylic and pedicure from this salon. 3 nails have broken, it took the girl who did it 2 hours and some change, I asked her if she could bedazzle my nails she told me they didn’t have any jewels (only for me to go back for them to fix the 2^nd nail that broke and re glue a gem I had another salon put on. The new tech I got bust out a whole case of nail gems!), I was so passed the acrylic was applied lumpy and I left without her painting my nails they were that bad.
They tried to charge me $ 80 and I complained which brought them down to $ 60. I went to another nail salon to have them reshaped bedazzle fix a broken nail and paint this cost me $ 30. I went back to this horrible shop to have them fix the second nail that broke they charged me $ 7. The lady who did my nails this time put the nail on crooked, and even after comparing the nail to the nail on the other hand the replacement mail was still way longer! And today the third nail broke. This means the product was crap and the application was half ass. Now I have to spend more time going back to another salon and paying more money to fix another nail.
The pedicure sucked too there was no massage no lotion. And they didn’t paint the tips and edges of the nail.
This place is horrible.

Worst nail place I have ever visited. Seats are so uncomfortable. They have actual sinks (!) set into the floor (raised)but neither the bench nor the sink move so regardless of how tall you are its at the same distance. So uncomfortable. I will never visit this place again.

Popped in for a quick manicure, as I had a half hour to kill in between meetings. The space was a little older and their chairs all have the foot basins. They have your standard color options.
The manicurist was very friendly and detailed. She took her time and the result was clean, nicely painted nails. I noticed that most of the customers that came in while I was there were one a first name basis with the staff. So nice that they remember their repeat customers, as that does not happen a lot in Santa Monica.
$ 14 for a normal mani. I was able to find a metered parking spot right in front of the salon but apparently there is a lot in the back with free parking.

Had a Brazilian with Linh. She’s very pleasant and made me very comfortable. I will definitely come back. Hard wax. No issues. Clean. Private. Discrete.

i used to go here a lot for gels and fills and each time got worse. Yen starts out nice when you are new but each subsequent visit, she was irritable, nasty at time, gossipy and generally unpleasant and lousy attitude. her work was pretty good so i gave it a fair shot, but after a while it was just not a good experience at all. they treat you like you are an inconvenience! it’s bizarre. my friend suzanne and i had the same experiences and we both found new places.

My friend recommended this amazing place to me. And after two visits I am a loyal customer. They do fantastic work! The gel lasts for over 3 weeks while still looking fantastic! And they are SO meticulous! See Lynn! She is fabulous! You will not regret it!

The owner was mean and did a mediocre, rushed manicure.
I’ve been going to Azure for 7 years and have had mostly good experiences until today. The owner did my manicure and she was doing a sloppy job. The polish was not covering my whole nail and was uneven around the edges. I asked her to fix it and she got angry and told me I am a perfectionist and she’s been doing this 20 years.
Her tone was rude and aggressive. I said nothing more because she was visibly angry. She told me to let her work and then kept saying things like «is it messy now? Where is the messy part now?» etc.
It was still messy. The polish was applied in a lumpy and uneven way, and she just put top coat over it to smooth it over, but you can still tell it looks a bit weird. I told her it was fine just to diffuse the situation and let her cool off. I wasn’t about to get into a heated battle over nail polish. (my solace was thinking about the Unilocal review I was going to write lol)
She was obnoxious. Kind of a shocker. Acted like a bully. Really unprofessional.
The other women who work there are so sweet.
But the owner’s unprofessional and mean attitude will stop me from returning.
If you go there, tread lightly.

I never write bad reviews but this place was pretty terrible. I got a gel French mani, but I probably wouldn’t come back to this salon. The chairs were very uncomfortable and the leg/​foot rest was too raised and weirdly disproportioned to how your legs would naturally rest. My legs kept falling asleep and cramping because my mani was taking longer than expected. It took my nail tech over 30 minutes to remove my previous gel and it felt like nails scraping on a chalk board.
The French mani itself wasn’t too bad at first**. I feel as if she did not put enough white on the tips so they were very patchy and not opaque. But as I was driving home, a huge chunk of white literally just fell off my fingers!!! Extremely disappointed and huge waste of money for overpriced West LA.
I also felt bad because there was only one girl who spoke English, and I feel like the rest of the employees were just giving her all of the work. She was running around doing everything.

I recently moved to Santa Monica from Florida and had a hard time finding a salon who used the high quality gel products I was accustomed to. Everywhere I called had no time to answer my questions, and the few salons I tried never got it right.
Finally in one last attempt to find a salon, I called Azure and spoke to Lana. She took the time to understand my request and explained what the product actually was. Upon my appointment, she was so friendly and she and her staff were all lovely! The real shocker was the bill at the end– it was far less than anywhere else I had tried!
I highly recommend this salon. The absolute BEST in the area. Not only are their products the best quality in the business, but their knowledge and customer service is out of this world!

I’ve been going to Azure nail spa for over 5 years now. I’ve always had a positive experience at this nail salon, and that’s saying something because I’m super picky when it comes to manicures and pedicures! Lana (the owner) is extremely professional, and she does a great job on my nails and Helen does my pedi exactly how I like it. I never leave feeling frustrated and unhappy the way I used to at other nail salons. I highly recommend Azure!

Had a basic mani/​pedi with my boyfriend and my toes look very nice, but my manicure is pretty terrible. The polish is uneven approaching the cuticle and there is ridging because she didn’t apply the top coat well. Would not go back. It’s been 2 days and it’s already chipping and looks unprofessional.

Got my first and much needed Meni Pedi and a 30min massage.
Very happy with both of them!

Typing this as I am getting the most amazing shoulder massage, and wondering why I paid so much at Burke Williams last week.
I have been coming to Azure for four years and the staff has always been extremely kind and accommodating.
Best gel manicures around! Lasts at least three weeks, as long as the pedicures. Great selection of OPI and Essie colors. Parking is free in the lot behind the building. I’ll be back next month :)

I only trust the ladies here with my gel manicure! I’ve tried so many places and they’re the best with making sure my nails stay healthy and beautiful. They also have the best colors!

This is my first time in Azure.. It’s right around the corner from where I live and quite convenient.
The girl doing my pedicure is very pleasant, but speaks no English..
I asked about the special mani/​pedi for $ 20 during certain times of the week… I was told that it’s not valid except for regular customers. Hmmmm. Not right at all.
I opted for a more expensive «pedicure» from the menu and it was lovely.
We’ll see how long the polish lasts

Not everyone will always be happy with service from a business but I have to agree with a lot of reviews here, these ladies are rude!
I was driving yesterday and decided to walk in. No other customer was In there, however they acted like they were doing me a favor for being there.
After I opted for a basic meni/​pedi they became ever ruder. My manicure lady kept messing up my polish and then was getting annoyed when she needed to fix it. I don’t know how many times I said can you please fix this??? I hate doing that!
Over all I just wanted to get out of there. They were very rude and one ladies breath smelled really bad and she was right in my face.
Two stars for doing ok job, even tho one of my nails hurts bad due to cutting cuticles too deep!
Note to self, if place is empty there is a reason for it.
