Too much mayonnaise on my Roasted Turkey Sandwich. I could ask them next time to lay off of it, but then that would reveal the utter thin layer of deli meat that is there in the first place. «Bola-​Var» is too simplistic.

I had two «arepas» for lunch yesterday, which are South American corncakes stuffed with various fillings. I tried one with ham and Gouda cheese and one with chicken and a creamy filling. The sauce that comes with the «sandwiches» is amazing — I guess it’s a garlic-​cilantro aïoli. I’m not sure — I didn’t have a menu — someone was nice enough to pick up lunch for me! But I HIGHLY recommend it! I will be going back there again soon for more! The corncake sandwiches are around $ 6 each. Oh and don’t forget the dulce de leche shortbread cookies for dessert! YUM!!!
