History

Established in 2014.

Chomp Eatery & Juice Station came about when Sean Tao found out that the space next door to DK’s Donuts was becoming vacant. He wanted to do some type of food, and had an interest in a good tasting gourmet burger. At the same time, Rolan, who was a pharmacy technician, began getting into of cold-pressed juices and their health benefits over conventional juicing. As these ideas diverged, they decided to make the vacant space into a healthy eatery, a place where the community could have the option of drinking cold-pressed juices and devouring a healthy burger or salad. The community lacked a restaurant like this, so filling the void was only natural. The name Chomp was decided upon by Sean. He believed the word embodied so many verbs and thoughts. «Chomping» into something usually is associated with taking a large bit into something delicious or juicy.

Business Owner

Sean Tao graduated with a B. S degree, Business Administration from San Diego State University in 2009. When Sean found out that the space next door to DK’s Donuts was becoming vacant. He wanted to do some type of food, and had an interest in a good tasting gourmet burger.

Rolan Pongpuntara is a licensed pharmacy tech and recently graduated with a B. S degree of Marketing from Colorado State University. Her interest in nutrition and health has pushed her towards further research and development of cold-pressed juices.“I was a pharmacy technician for about 6 years. I had my own dispensary at a doctor’s office dealing with a wide range of natural remedies to prescription medication. I learned a lot about weight loss, detox/cleansing, low thyroid/hormones, and fatigue/depression. I have seen how much the world is moving towards more of an organic and natural form of remedies. With that knowledge and experience I gained as a pharmacy tech, I now apply it to my juices.
