Dr. Edward O’Connor completed his neurology residency, finishing as Chief Resident in Neurology at UCLA School of Medicine in 1977.

He spent eight years at White Memorial Medical Center serving as Chief, Section of Neurology and as Director of the Rehabilitation Unit and served as Chief, Section of Neurology at Santa Monica Hospital and Secretary of the St. John’s Hospital Medical Staff. He is a clinical associate professor of neurology at UCLA and USC, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology.

He is recognized as a top neurologist in Los Angeles is listed as a Super Doctor, and certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and certified in MRI and CT’s by the American Society of Neuroimaging. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN).

He believes in employing the science of neurology to arrive at the correct diagnosis, and working closely with patients to create a specific treatment plan.
