I couldn’t recommend Dr. Franc more. He is thorough and thinks outside the box. He listened to my issues and asked a lot of questions and I’ve never met a doctor who sincerely cared. I referred him to a friend and he helped him find a solution with his fainting episodes in where all other doctors he consulted said there is nothing they can do and it was his Vegas nerve. Dr. Franc figured something else out that isn’t a nerve issue and my friend is on his way to recovery. My migraines are gone and he helped with my withdrawals from my back pain meds. If you want an innovative neurologist who cares beyond the dollar sign, Dr. Franc is your doctor.

Dr. Daniel Franc is my neurologist. He is a delight to have a physician. His patience is only exceeded by his medical expertise. It is a rare occurrence to encounter a physician that not only knows his craft but has the ability to express compassion and empathy in his practice. I am thrilled with my care at NAOWLA by Dr. Franc. If ever there was a time when you or a loved on required a neurologist, HE is your man and the clinic is the place to go.

Dr. Chang absolutely saved me today. I have had a relentless headache for weeks that was misdiagnosed over and over again and after explaining the symptoms to Dr. Chang, she not only diagnosed it immediately but then offered solution and I walked out of the office headache-​FREE!!! Could not believe it. She explained everything throughly in a way that made sense to a non-​doctor and was extremely kind and compassionate. And her assistant, Jeannie is also fantastic! Extremely patient with me and my ridiculous appointment time constraints, she made sure I was able to see the doctor as soon as possible. THANK YOU!!!

I am so pleased to have a forum in which to tell others how wonderful Dr. Jordan, and his incredible assistant, Ann, are! In fact, I live about 100 miles away from his office and make the long drive in order to see him — he is so worth it!
I have seen Dr. Jordan over the past couple of years because of severe thoracic outlet syndrome and ulnar nerve issues. He really is a very high caliber doctor, and every time I see him, I’m so grateful that he is my doctor. I recently saw a letter from one doctor to another who referred to Dr. Jordan as, and I quote, «A nationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic outlet syndrome.» He is indeed.
Not only does he come up with creative & effective ways to help me medically and pain — wise, but under that professional exterior of his lies a heart of gold. He has been a steadfast champion of me and my care to insurance companies and the like. Once, he worked late into the night right before going out of town on information for me for an insurance company who was treating me very unfairly. It shouldn’t have been of concern to him, for he had already been paid, but he could not stand that someone was taking advantage of me, and he fought for me. I was so touched by that. And, he could’ve waited until he got back from his short trip to so kindly help me, but he was so outraged by how I was being treated he stayed up that night and did it that very day. This is the kind of wonderful doctor and person Dr. Jordan is. He genuinely cares about his patients and their welfare.
And, it amazes me how Dr. Jordan always has his pulse on new treatments that are being discovered. He is always so far ahead of other doctors in this regard. He truly is cutting-​edge in regards to medical treatments.
His assistant extraordinaire, Ann, always has a smile on her face and in the lilt of her voice for you, even when things are so very busy for her. I can’t begin to tell you the number of times she has gone above and beyond to so kindly help me, which has really made a difference in several matters for me. I always look forward to seeing her. She is incredibly smart, efficient, creative, effective and kind.
I highly recommend this dynamic duo!

Dr. Chang is by far the best doctor I have ever had. And I have certainly seen my share of incompetent medical professionals.
She is highly skilled, kind and compassionate and her medical assistant Jeanie is an absolute godsend. Often, when you are chronically ill, you get the runaround or are beaten down by front office staff – this was absolutely the opposite of my experience.
Dr. Chang has helped me more than I can ever describe, she does her research and gives the patient all of the facts to make a rational, informed decision. I recommend her 1000%!!!

I hesitated for a long time before posting a review. I had one up but took it down, but finally decided I had to post for the sake of other potential patients.
I had a terrible experience with Drs. Jordan and Chang. I have a condition called Trigeminal Nerve Disorder from a disastrous experience with a Russian dentist, Dr. Katerina Galina, 6 years ago, where she went too deep and damaged a nerve during what should have been a routine root canal.
After years of visiting dentists and finally neurologists, (and having never-​ending pain, requiring never-​ending heavy meds, I came to Dr. Chang first (she and Dr. Jordan work together). Dr. Change wholeheartedly and without doubt told me that an operation could cure this. No ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance or even a ⁹⁰⁄₁₀ chance that this wouldn’t work. She didn’t even do independent testing of my condition before rushing me into booking the operation. Dr. Jordan did the surgery, Dr. Chang observed. It took place in January 2011. And it didn’t work! Not at all!
Afterwards, their attitude was, «Oh well, maybe we can try something else.» I even had to pay for follow-​up visits! Both doctors suggested extremely different alternative operations — one radical, one conservative — which my insurance would never cover, since for the first operation I needed a letter of medical necessity which was very hard to get. And my insurance didn’t cover everything, so I had to pay thousands off myself.
Dr. Chang was defensive afterwards, said the operation should have worked and was «medically» successful — no matter that it didn’t alleviate the pain one bit. Dr. Jordan explained why it may not have worked — but he would never admit he told me. Even so, I will not be able to get my insurance to pay for another operation of any kind for this condition.
If Dr. Chang had told me the risk of this not working, I doubt i would have undergone it! What makes me angry is that neither doctor took accountability afterwards. Even Dr. Jordan’s explaining what might have gone wrong was delivered with a «what the heck» attitude. And to charge for a follow-​up visit?
Either they are desperate for money or callous. Later on, when I visited a neuro-​surgeon, he was surprised that Dr. Sheldon — a neurologist — had performed surgery. Whatever the case, it was a failure. I am posting this same review for Dr. Chang, since they work together. Please — if you have a neurological condition like mine — beware!
