In June/July, I called to make an appointment for annual physical with Dr. Glenn Gorlitsky. I was told he is on vacation over the summer but would be back in September. I was given a date in mid-October. I re-scheduled business travel to ensure that I would be available that day. On arriving for appointment was told that Dr. Gorlitsky was a) not there, b) no date when he would return, c) and some other doctor who is not even listed on the practice list of doctors would see me. I waited for 2 hours to see this new doctor(including an hour in a small examination room) and was told that the doctor was«running behind». So I walked out. Dr. Gorlitsky is good doctor — I wonder if he knows what is happening in his absence.

What a mess. Dr. Gortlisky has been on leave for months, and I’ve been in limbo. Made this appointment a month ago, and as I’m sitting in the lobby I’m informed that the covering physician can’t write my prescriptions. They wouldn’t even refer me to another internal med Doctor — instead she handed me a pain management clinic card — I’m running out of my Rx and leaving town in a week. Feels very negligent way to treat a patient. They couldn’t have figured this out BEFORE my appointment today? Then I’m told Dr. Stein could see me but I have to wait … Who knows how long. And he’ll only write me a Rx for one month. Really frustrating and whacky.
