Mudra has been in the fashion industry for over 40 years. We are one of the rare independent stores remaining on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA. We offer up to the minute fashions from local designers, many times ahead of the trends, at affordable prices.

On a personal note: Yelp and reviewers prefer that businesses don’t respond to negative reviews, however, like most things in life, it is a two way street. We help almost a hundred people a day and have been in retail for over 40 years so our ratio is pretty good. It has become retail culture that the «customer is always right» which, unfortunately, has allowed some people to take advantage and think it is okay to be rude even to the point of screaming profanities. Believe it or not, we are people as well, with feelings and opinions. It is impossible to make everyone happy. For example: one of the reviewers below stood outside of the store yelling questions at us while we were helping other customers. Which is no big deal, however, this customer was intoxicated. In this situation there was no way to win. Am I making excuses? No, I am pointing out the fact that we are all human and stuff happens. We love working here and we want our customers to leave happy. What other store tells you when something doesn’t look right on you? Very few, but we do. Will we get more bad reviews? Possibly, but it is certainly not our goal. We love being here and hope you will as well.
