Our services include: The Rolf Method of Structural Integration (Rolfing), a unique multiple session format of bodywork developed to release adhesions in connective tissue and improve skeletal alignment and function. We also offer massage therapy modalities including: deep tissue, sports, Swedish and prenatal care. We specialize in injury rehabilitation, improving sports performance, workplace ergonomics, complimenting alternative or traditional healthcare practices and general health & wellness maintenance.

History

Established in 1995.

Inner Light Manual Therapy started out in 1995 as a mobile massage therapy business. Jon has worked at health fairs, sporting events, medical offices and maintains a private practice. In 2005 Jon shifted his work to Structural Integration bodywork based in the research and development of Dr. Ida P. Rolf, PhD. Unlike massage, Structural Integration works on the deeper connective tissue called fascia. Fascia en-​wraps the entire body, in between muscles, organs and covering blood vessels. Fascia is what deforms into tightness from weak posture, injury and emotional trauma. SI mobilizes and releases the fascia with slow deep compressions which then allows the joints to move easier and with less pain. In 2008, Jon graduated from the Guild for Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado as a certified Rolf practitioner. He currently has a private practice in Santa Monica, CA.
