Totally unhelpful. Made up an excuse to fail me and take my money.
Said my cat converter was upside down and he could not read the numbers. Refused to use a mirror to rectify the situation just shook his head and said no when I challenged him to try with a mirror.

This is honestly the best place in town to get a smog check. By far the best place on Lincoln and I’ve lived in the area for years. Quick, friendly, affordable. And Choi is awesome. If you need a Smog check go here and ask for Choi.

3 failed smog inspections, 2 bogus smog diagnostics, and 5 mechanics later, I came across Miner muffler and brake on Lincoln. Billy and Choi were able to pinpoint the problems of my car which was a bad catalytic converter and an oxygen sensor. They completed the work on my car in about the time of a lunch break. As a free courtesy they also fixed the timing of my engine. Passing a smog test in California is very cumbersome and exhausting. In hindsight I could have saved a lot of time energy and money had I come to this smog station from the start. The prices are very affordable and the wait time was excellent. I strongly recommend this smog/​repair shop!!!

Took my car in for a smog check and Mr. Choi had me in and out in minutes. He is pleasure to talk to, friendly and fast. He also honored the coupon for a bit of a discount. Been here twice and will definitely go back.

After three cars and many headaches, Choi has been there for me every time! Its a great feeling knowing that there are good people who will help me out when I really need it. Right next door is Billy and his exhaust shop, and the two of them have become friends. I wish I wasnt having top deal with Cali smog laws, but at least I have a friend at Choi’s place. If you need a smog check, go to this place. I hope Choi is there because he was so helpful and he even gave me some tips on how to treat my cold! I paid $ 50. which was the price if you mention the coupon, but I have a feeling he would quote you that price anyways. The place down the street was going to be $ 75. and that was with a coupon!

Needed a quick smog check on a used Porsche that I wanted to purchase. Mr. Choi, the owner, got right on the job when I arrived. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The car passed smog with no issues, but he took the time to check the engine bay carefully to see if there were any «red flags» before I pay the seller. I would definitely go back to Mr. Choi for a smog check again.

Mr. Choi is efficient, friendly, and calm. One feels in good hands here. I had lost all my DMV paperwork and now have about 9 days to get everything done, so I was frazzled. He was very helpful and helped me drive out of what is a very crowded lot, backing up onto Lincoln, which can be scary.
I very much recommend this station.

Don’t bother with these guys — granted it was a Monday, nobody likes Mondays — but after a rather gruff greeting I was told they could not perform the test as my transmission was not shifting gears and I should take it into my mechanic. I regularly service my car so I was a little confused but followed the instructions with a pleasant thank you for your time. No money changed hands or information. My mechanic, the amazing John Piechowski in Culver City also seemed confused by this prognosis and suggested I take it to the Smog Check down the street. Without telling me Smog Just Smogs had sent in a visual fail for my car, more confusion ensued with National Smog and Repair as I had no paperwork. My car was tested, the transmission was fine, and I passed with flying colours. My advice: spend the extra $ 10 bucks and go some where where they actually want your business.

Went in for a smog today, no line, and quick and friendly service. Took about 15 mins. Very nice guy running things. Great price too — grab a coupon online.
Just FYI — Its in a set of little garages all in a row, so the sign has multiple auto centers on it along with «SMOG». If you look for that you can’t miss it.
