History

Established in 1982.

We started as a small printer who’s speciality was customer service. That is why even today a real live person answers the phone. Our evolution towards sustainability is something we wanted to do for the community. The entire envelope of our company is GREEN. We are certified as a Sustainable Green Printer and are FSC certified. We have given presentations at different community meetings directed how a company can embrace sustainability.

We are proud to announce adding WLA Print to the DSJ family! We are working diligently to improve all of our services. If you were completely satisfied with the service you’ve received in the past, it’s only going to get better. If you were not happy with the service you received in the past, give us another shot because it’s only going to get better! We have worked in the printing industry for 60+ years with large corporate companies, the small business and individuals alike. We bring a wealth of knowledge to the table and serve each of our clients alike whether big or small. Not much we haven’t done in design, print and bindery of all shapes and sizes so bring it!

STOP THE PRESSES! (as in printing presses.) Just as lipstick is to a pretty smile — this Printing Company is to the look of your business. Figuring out how to impress my bosses was hard — but having my work beautifully displayed by West LA printing… was super easy! They do fantastic work at reasonable prices. This place gets my stamp of approval!

We had a fantastic experience with the West LA Print team… we worked with Jeff Sr. on our wedding invitations and they did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. They were willing to do test prints and work with us on each concern/​detail until me and my fiancée were satisfied with the results. They were very fast and efficient and overall it was just a very pleasant experience… I would highly recommend them!

If you have to use this company, request Edwin to oversee your print job.
I could sorta overlook the total lack of communication while trying to print our wedding save the dates, until they handed over our «finished» save the dates DAYS after they were supposed to be completed and with INK SMEARS on the printed cards! We still don’t understand how this qualified as a finished product or why they thought it was a good idea to charge our credit card for the full amount, which was NOT even authorized by me.
After repeatedly calling to speak to a manager or to the owner who never called me back once, we were contacted by Edwin (to our knowledge, not the owner) who tried to understand what had happened and eventually delivered the final products, printed correctly.
But, the saga continued, after repeated requests for a refund, we were charged again! Although they cited «organizational changes» as the reason for the confusion, I would make sure that you work with someone who will communicate with you and deliver something that is clearly not a mistake, especially when it comes to your wedding save the dates.

These guys just screwed me over so bad. I was on my way to an interview and needed to print out my resume and writing sample. I came to this place because of the good reviews, but when I showed up they told me there was a 10 dollar minimum to use the printer. So I offered to pay 10 dollars (for 4 pages) out of desperation, and the guy at the counter turned me away. He directed me to a Staples which is in the opposite direction of where my interview is. So now I’m walking around in the heat scrambling to get my stuff printed somewhere else. HORRIBLE experience.

Nice guys, quick service, no muss and no fuss. I need two copies of my Master’s thesis bound tout suite and these folks got the job done in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very reasonable cost. I also appreciated that they were frequently in communication with me so as to make sure my order was completed to my total satisfaction. Thanks, guys!

I definitely recommend them if you need some spiffy well-​priced, high quality business cards. Make sure to ask for Daniel if you go there!

Great service, even for the little jobs. Needed to print and fax an 8 page pdf, and in a rush. They treated me just as important as if I had brought in a big job. Very friendly too!
This isn’t a kinkos, there are no self service machines. But in a pinch they’ll help you out with a smile. This is a full service printing company that’s set up for high-​volume print jobs.

I used West LA Print & Copy for my wedding save-​the-​dates and couldn’t be happier with their customer service and quality of work. Daniel scanned my original artwork & calligraphy, then re-​sized it to my specifications and recommended a great paper stock, similiar to watercolor paper. Numerous guests actually thought that their card was hand-​drawn, which is a real testament to an excellent print job. I’ll definitely be back!

Forgot my resume at home on the way to a job interview. I quickly looked online for a printing place close to the interview and found West LA Print & Copy. I called and they had me email my resume (difficult to do while driving) but they had it ready when I got there and I made it to my interview with 5 minutes to spare! These guys are life savers!

I love them. I used to pay $ 500 to have our ads changed digitally into different formats. These guys literally charge me $ 25 and upload them to whatever magazine we are advertising that time. And, I generally call them about 24 hours after the job was supposed to be done and they always come through for us! Thank you West LA Print. I think E.B.‘s experience, while valid, was a fluke. Hope she gives them another chance. Great, great, great.

patient staff (thanks debbie), detail oriented graphic designer (daniel), and a lot of attention to detail. easy to communicate via email (prompt responses) and phone. most of all they do excellent work. they went through multiple (more than 20) rounds of edits with me (i’m indecisive and very picky) and never once was there a complaint. at the end, my foil prints were flawless and beautiful. what more could i ask for? thank you west la print!

they are right around the corner from my house and in a pinch come in handy for printing and copying.
their parking lot is dangerous though; if you’re walking down federal beware of people backing out. i’ve almost been run over several times.

Well. I’m utterly disappointed with their false promises. They claimed to be able to give me the quote once I uploaded my designs online. So I did, but they didn’t even get back to me after almost 6 days. So I went to their store and asked for the lady who talked to me on the phone. And apparently, she said she didn’t remember taking my call or receiving my file… this is weird since I’ve already gotten a confirmation email about my files being sent successfully to their inbox. Ugh whatever.
And so she apologized and got a designer to talk to me personally and set up another time for me to come in and look at the sample. And again, they disappointed me. I called in and they said «Sorry I regret to say that your sample isn’t ready. how about tomorrow, because the printer is locked in printing 1000 copies for other ppl». Oohh-​kay. So there goes my last chance! –_​-​«
I try to understand since their store is small and hence, the lack of printers. But please tell me in advance if you’re not able to print my samples… not when I come in with high hopes and expectations. I don’t like the „unprofessionalism“ of this company. –_​-​» Sorry but you guys are one-​starred.
