Inspection 1 Service performed here Friday.
Also replaced failed window regulator, removed and reinstalled oil filter housing, replaced housing gasket, Vanos oil line, power steering suction and return hoses, reservoir, alternator belt tensioner and idler pullies, alternator and a/​c belts. They also bleed power steering, cleaned and renewed the power steering fluid.
These guys went above and beyond for a very reasonable price.
I recommend anyone needing service for their BMW… give this place a try!

These guys are great. I never worry that I’m being advised to spend more than is necessary to repair the car. Knowledgeable and friendly, too.

Get a second quote and opinion. This place did not fix my car properly. I took. My car somewhere else and problem fixed.

I drive all the way up to Santa Rosa from San Francisco to have them work on my BMW M5. If I’m willing to drive two hours round trip to have my car serviced, it is self-​explanatory that I feel they do excellent work.
Very clean shop (check out the restroom!). Very professional. VERY HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY. Highly recommended!

OK… where to start.
First impressions are very important to my wife and I, especially when it comes to business relationships. Dave and Derek could not be more hospitable, helpful and courteous than they have been. On the phone they are really nice and a wealth of knowledge.
When I actually brought my 528i into the shop, Dave gave me a thorough walk through of everything he was going to do and why. He was fast and efficient and he fixed the issue… well…without issue. ;-)
Before I met these guys, I was under the impression that any BMW mechanic will hang you by your ankles to shake the money out of you as soon as you set foot in their shop. That is the exact opposite of how you are treated as a customer at Bavarian Performance. First, they fix your car… THEN they shake you upside down! (Ha Ha)
But seriously, they are the best! From my experiences with them I can highly recommend their work to anyone with a BMW.

highly recommended. they replaced h2o pump, timing belt, etc on 2005 jetta, guarantee all work for a year. very professional, courteous… fair price… cost was exactly as quoted… will take car back for future work

GLAD I CHECKED IT OUT! I found this place from Unilocal.
I went in this tuesday to get break flush and check service lights.
These guys were very Knowledgeable, Honest, and answered all the questions I had regarding my BMW.
I would say price is much more reasonable compare to stealers.
I am going back tomorrow for replacing rear brakes and some other services although I live 40 min away from the shop.

So, upon getting my BMW 02 330i two years ago, I asked a good friend of mine who works in the automotive industry (who happens to be a BMW fanatic) where I should go to get my car fixed up. He immediately suggested Bavarian Performance. He told me it’s where he takes his car whenever he needs anything, and even gave me a little bit of a background of the guys who run it (info privy to being in the trade).
Long story short, as long as I have my BMW and live in the area I won’t be going anywhere else. My list of work done goes: Maaaaany oil changes, brake sensors replaced, broken lock tumbler replaced, new electronic key ordered and coded, both kidneys replaced, air boot filter and water pump replaced, and brake pads replaced.
For BMW, their charge rate and labor costs seem to be cheaper then when I used to get my old Pontiac worked on! They’re flexible with my schedule, they get done with the job in the exact time frame given every time. They give me complete diagnostics lists of the status of the rest of the car and let me know what to watch in the future.
The kicker for me was when I came in expecting to pay $ 500+ for a bunch of stuff I wanted done at once because that was the estimate. First thing Dave (owner) says to me is «Well, it took less time than we initially estimated so the price is $ 50 lower than estimated.» He didn’t have to tell me that at all, I had already agreed to the estimate. Point being I’ve done business elsewhere where I know they wouldn’t have been that honest with me.
