Coast Building Products

I looked up Coast Building Products (Insulation) on Unilocal because they came highly recommended by a Co-​Worker and his neighbor who were very happy with their work. There was only the one review on Unilocal and luckily I’m not the type to rely too heavily on single or limited reviews, because it doesn’t give you the whole picture. Based only on word of mouth I decided to get a quote done from them and then I would get a better picture of how the company responded.
Mike responded quickly to my request for a quote and he set up a time that worked well with my busy schedule. I was happy with his knowledge of insulation products and installation options and he quoted several options. After getting more quotes done, two of which were from highly rated insulation installers I found Mike the easiest to deal with and the prices the most reasonable. His crew were friendly and professional and they worked almost non stop the entire time they were here. I could tell it was a lot of work vacuuming out the old redwood cedar chips that served as insulation, because after 50 years it was almost cemented in place and had to be scraped and vacuumed at the same time. They did a great job of removing the wood chips and installing new insulation, and were good at keeping the areas they worked in clean. I even insisted on helping with the small amount of clean up afterwards (less than 3 minutes with a dust buster).
I will be recommending this Company the next time anyone mentions they need insulation installed.
