Specialties
We feature a Brooklyn style dough recipe made from scratch in house. Our pies are hand spun to order. Every pie is brushed with extra virgin olive oil, dusted with black pepper, hearty pinch of freshly shredded asiago and topped with whole milk natural mozzarella. All of our toppings are fresh, prepared in house and hand-sliced. We use all fresh herbs chopped fresh daily. We feature small estate wines and craft beers at our hand built Mahogany wine bar. Our laurel oak tables were constructed out of native reclaimed wood and re-milled on site and can be arranged to accommodate larger parties.
History
Established in 2015.
This is our second location. We have had a location in Englewood, Fl for close to 3 years. In that short amount of time we have been voted #1 pizzeria in South Florida by Trip Advisor. Due to the over– whelming demand from our customers, who commuted over an our from Sarasota to our Englewood location, we decided to expand. We are now located on Main Street Next to Patrick’s.
Meet the Manager
Brian I.
Manager
I grew up in a pizzeria. I made my first pie at 8 years old, I worked in my father’s pizzeria which he owned for 22 years. I went to school for resort and hospitality management in Fort Myers (FGCU) and ran a pizzeria there. Later I made pizza at a Pizzeria in Gainesville while going to school for political science. I moved back to Englewood and met Glenn Comeau (owner of Flatbreads) and recognized his quality product and his artisan traditional style of making pizza; hand-tossed sandstone brick oven. I began managing his Englewood location and commute to Sarasota daily to run his newest location Flatbreads on Main. I am passionate of keeping the dying trade of properly made hand tossed pizza using real ingredients.
