Big time hankering for pepperoni so i dropped in here for lunch. They have some big screen tvs so i could watch the Copa America futbol games. Mini pepperoni was fresh outta the oven and i burned the f out of the roof of my mouth. But it was solid. I like when some of the pepperoni gets a bit crisp. Molten cheese, decent sauce, good crust. Hit the spot

Had great pizza and a pitcher of beer at this location. The restaurant is very clean and I was very pleased with their customer service, they go above and beyond to make sure you are taken cared of.

This Mountain Mike’s has a deal on Groupon that allows two per customer (used on separate visits). When I called to use the 1^st one they said I need to bring in the printed Groupon with me so I did and everything was fine.
A few weeks later I go to use the 2^nd one and when I handed the printed voucher to the cashier they said the cannot accept the voucher and have to see it on a smartphone. I had trouble installing the app, but I had the printed Groupon (which they’re supposed to accept) but the would not take it. I had to call a family member to get the password from my groupon account off of our desktop computer at home and it was a huge ordeal.
This is not right as it does not say when you buy the groupon you must have a smartphone to redeem it. Everywhere else accepts the printed vouchers. I feel bad because I just got my elderly father to sign up for Groupon and he bought one for this Mountain Mike’s before this happened to me. He only has an old fashioned flip phone and uses the internet on his desktop computer at home, so I guess his Groupon will be no good at this Mountain Mike’s.

This place is a JOKE!!! Why the hell are they even in business. Every night when you call the phone does some weird thing and they are NEVER open in the early evenings. You’d think they would post that on their website but NO they don’t. Don’t waste your time go find a better pizza place.

I would give it 0 stars if I could! I called in at 8:30 pm on a Saturday to place an order. The guy puts me on hold. Once he gets back to me, I tell him I wanted to place an order & he tells me they’re no longer taking orders. What??? I ask him what time they close & his response is, «to be honest ma’am, no one really knows. We just close if it’s slow.» My response was, ok? I want to place an order though.? He said, «sorry ma’am, the kitchen is already closed.»
Seriously??? Oh my god. I love mountain mikes but this was the worst customer service ever! & I work in retail.

We’ve been going to Mountain Mike’s for years. However, after ordering a large Everest and pepperoni today during lunch, we found out that the olives were missing on the signature Everest. This is very disappointing…

This place is so AWESOME. I work across the street, and sometimes the girls and I get a craving for pizza. They have this lunch special that always hits the spot. All we have to do is call ahead of time and let the guy know how many of us are coming and what we like so he has fresh pizza out for us.
The customer services is the best! He always accommodates us. We had a birthday once and although they don’t serve cake, he gave us ice cram sandwiches and helped sing Happy Birthday.
I definitely recommend this place!

My family has been going to Mountain Mike’s for many many years. We used to go to Olympic Pizza before Mountain Mike’s replaced it.
I’ve always been a big fan of their pizza because the dough and crust always has a light crisp and charcoal taste. The crispy pepperonis are also unique to their pizza.
My favorite pies are the combination (all the toppings) and the pepperoni and olive. You simply can’t go wrong with either.

You know I was reading some peoples ridiculous comments and what they say is like they didn’t put my topping that I just bought from other store. Of course they will not lol.
Anyways I’ve been to this location couple of the time and guess what NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS with people who work there. Best customer service and great pizza. I recommend you trying it.

Solid pizza places that has the best crust because this location has little bubble underneath on the bottom which I haven’t found at any other MM locations. And they officially added a bar with their new liquor license!

Disclaimer (s): My star ratings are primarily skewed towards the freshness/​ingredients of the pizza. Attitude, decorum, wait time, etc. will minimally factor into the equation unless in the rare instance of an absolutely atrocious experience.
A+: Large one-​topping bacon arrived with mouth-​watering appeal from the tender yet semi-​crunchy texture. The bacon taste popped from the flavor too.
Above Average: Nothing is just «above average» here. The quality of the crust & overall ingredients are treading excellent.
Atmosphere: Well lit areas either day or night. Smell of fresh pizza dough, the oven crust scent, cheese and tomatoes aromas fill the air pleasantly. Families, school kids, singles and people on their work break are most common day or night. The noise level is kept to a minimum. This place does allow for private conversations given the immense space inside. Several T.V.‘s are present with predominant sports programming. Acceptable for slight reading and smartphone escapism as well. Casual and friendly environment. Architecture nothing special. Large hand painted sports memorabilia adorns the walls with 49ers, Raiders, Sharks and Golden State Warriors emphasis. Decent beer selection on draft. The bar, pickup/​delivery area are extremely well kept and the majority of the tables are clean. The background contains only sounds of a few t.v.‘s or incoming phone calls to the business. Seating is okay on the comfort factor. Very awesome high bar tables and stool height in the corners of the restaurant creating convenience especially for people like myself who are 6’2″ and most places I have to slouch over to eat my food.
Bonus: Groupon purchased August 2014 = $ 19 for one large one-​topping pizza and one pitcher of beer at the Branham Lane location ($ 30.98 value). This was *the* best pizza deal ever advertised on Groupon thus far in my area since the owner allowed for (2) Groupon vouchers instead of the typical single voucher. Fantastic value. #CheckGrouponFirst
Price: Purchases are beyond justifiable for the unreal pizza quality.
Service: Dine-​in + take-​out = fast & helpful. Proper packaging for stuff on the go too. Employees are chill, nice, professional and welcoming. Ignore any below 5-​star customer service reviews for they are false! Phenomenal taste takes time. This destination is worth the wait for whenever. Emil/​Emile the owner is approachable and gracious with a positive attitude.
Sub-​par: Not applicable.
Tolerable: Ventilation somewhat stuffy even with the overhead fans only near the front register closest to the kitchen.
Verdict: If this company had not advertised on Groupon, I would never have tried them in the first place. This place is not quite Bibo’s NY Pizza caliber however this establishment is no slouch holding weight against the likes of Round Table. I shall return to devour more bacon pizzas while sipping on draft beer from a sub-​zero pint mug on my laundry days near Next Gen Cleaners. I might bring my laptop next time so I can get some work done. Great experience. Deserving of all praise received with exceptional pizza quality and a food coma guaranteed to last awhile afterward. Find yourself losing your mind from the first bite of a bacon topped pizza. Thanks Emil/​Emile and ignore the critics of your business!

I moved to the bay area close to 8 years ago and recently discovered Mountain Mikes this year. I LOVE their pizza! It is amazing… my favorite is Snowy Alps. We had a nice pizza party there with a group of elderly ladies. The staff showered them with attention! The environment is familiar, cozy and comfortable. Plus I enjoy seeing high school kids employed behind the counter. I appreciate businesses who give local high schoolers a job. I worked at a pizza parlor in high school — LOL — I had fun, ate well and most imortantly… learned responsibilty. THANK YOU!

I wish I could give zero stars
This is the worst customer service and pizza making experience I have ever had. I called to order my gluten free pizza to be delivered. My usual order is the following: gluten free crust, combination, extra crispy «but not burnt». I waited for the pizza to arrive and when it showed up after I paid I open the box to see a completely burnt pizza in front of me. Needless to say it was completely inedible. My friends around me were completely shocked that a business would allow something to leave its kitchen that is probably against the health code for the county of Santa Clara.
I proceeded to call them back and I get the manager on the phone and I ask him his name and he declined to tell me who he was and rudely asked me what I wanted. I explained to him that I ordered a crispy pizza and got one that was burnt and he responded with «you order burnt pizza, I give you burnt pizza. I don’t know what you want» with a very thick accent. I said I never ordered a burnt pizza, what I asked for specifically is a crispy pizza that wasn’t burnt. At this point, he still refused to give me his name and he thought it was perfectly ok for me to eat it. I then asked for a refund and I explained to him that this was probably a health code violation due to the fact that it was completely inedible. Not only did he deny my refund after I continually explained to him that there was no way I would even feed the pizza to my dog but he offered to make me a new one which at this point I did not want any pizza from this place ever again cause God knows what they were going to do to my pizza, maybe throw it on the floor or spit in it. All I wanted was my money back so I would never have to deal with this place again but he continuously refused to do so and he said that he was sending the driver back with a new pizza and he would never deliver to me again. Thanks for the favor!
When the driver showed up with a new pizza without even opening the box I told him he could have both pizzas back and take it back to the manger and tell him to shove it up his ass! Obviously I was completely blown away by the lack of customer service and I will include a picture of the burnt pizza so you can see the crap they send to people and think it’s ok.
I plan on also contacting the Mountain Mike’s corporate office and filing a complaint. The sad thing about this whole fiasco is that the owner found out and saw the picture of the pizza, yet never contacted me. I know this because a mutual friend knows the owner and forwarded a picture of the pizza to him. That was two weeks ago so hence the review.
Do yourself a favor, NEVER order from this location and go to the One on Hamilton ave where they get your order right and have great customer service!

First time here. What a super clean Mountain Mikes. The service and food were awesome.
This is an excellent place to watch the World Cup (or other sports I’m guessing)

We came in and the place was empty, but the tables were dirty. Doesn’t seem that hard to wipe down tables after people leave. But my main complaint is there was no salad bar or even pre-​made salads, even though there are signs advertising salad, and salad displayed on the menu. Three stars because the pizza was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice, with plenty of big screen tvs.

This seems like a pretty new establishment, but don’t let that fool you! The pizza is spectacular and the service is to match. They have an amazing deal on Sundays and I don’t think it will last forever. We ordered a medium veggie half Everest and they had no problem making it a combo. To top it off it was not oily at all. The ingredients taste extremely fresh and the restaurant is very clean. I would definitely recommend making this your go to spot in the area!

It’s so cute that their pizzas are named after mountains. As someone who loves to hike to the top of mountains, I love the concept.
I’ve had Mountain Mike’s pizza a couple of times before, but this was my first time actually ordering it myself. I called on the phone to place a to-​go order (the McKinley combination pizza!). On Tuesdays, the pizzas are 40% off — no coupon needed! (They also have a different combo pizza named after Everest, and a white sauce pizza called Snowy Alps… so cute!!!) The girl on the phone told me my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, I’m walking away with a fresh, piping hot, delicious smelling pizza pie! It tasted really good. Don’t forget to get some pepper flakes!

This Mountain Mike’s is under new management, and I think it really deserves a higher rating now than it currently has. When we order pizza, it’s exclusively from this Mountain Mike’s now. Everyone who works here is super super nice – on the phone and in person. The margherita pizza is divine. Ahh, so much garlicy goodness! Delicious. Inside, it’s clean and spacious and actually looks more upscale than a normal pizza place I think. And there’s TVs!
tl;dr: Don’t be fooled by the low ratings– this Mountain Mike’s is awesome.
