I switched from Bank of America to Union Bank about 5 years ago. I chose them because they were one of the few banks that didn’t get involved in subprime lending. They’re a very conservative bank and I like that. The customer service at the Saratoga branch (and the Capitola branch) has been outstanding. They all know me by name and say hello. When my dad passed away in February, they went out of their way to help me become the trustee of the estate. Nothing but good things to say.

EUREKA! If you are looking for a bank branch with «old fashioned» customer service than this is the place! The branch manager Onjali greeted us immediately and was the most delightful bank person I have ever experienced. She made us feel very welcome as we began the process of opening new accounts. Caroline completed the process expediently making sure we understood everything completely. This is exactly why we switched from Chase to Union Bank where they make the customer the most important part of doing business!
