I just bought two necklaces from them. I specifically asked if they were sterling silver. I was told they were. When I got back to my hotel, I looked up the brand (cool and interesting) only to find out that they were silver plated brass. I feel like I’ve been cheated.

This is a great store with a unique assortment of jewelry, gifts, and a beautiful setting to spend time searching for a special something for yourself or others. The staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. A Must destination for locals and visitors.

I had fantastic customer service here, and manager Emily is the best! She handled an issue I had right over the phone and even sent me a note in the mail! I have bought a few things here and will definitely return next time I go to Sausalito. Their prices are reasonable and they have a wide range of different styles. I recommend it!

I l.o.v.e this store! when I first visited here couple yrs ago, bought a pair of unique earrings. When I came back home, a lot of my friends liked it. I also got another pair of earrings and necklace that matches. My friends loved those also. I came back again and got another one over the weekend. Love it :) if I stay there all day… I might end up buying a lot of different kinds of earrings lol

I could literally spend hours in this store! There is so much to look at here, not just jewelry. They have beaded animals, tiny shoe sculptures, purses, everything a girl could possibly want to look at all day.
There is a wide range of styles, colors and expenses for everyone’s liking. Great spot for gifts or a little something for yourself. I managed to limit myself to just one item, or I may have purchased the entire store, spending hundreds of dollars.
The little beaded animals are absolutely stunning and adorable. I wanted every one of them on display. A starfish, pelican, flamingo, frog, parrot… so many designs.
This place is a must stop if you like jewelry and are in Sausalito.
Oh, and pretty good sale stuff in the back of the store, so if you are looking to save a buck or two, check out the back first and work you way to the front.

I was very displeased by Jewelry by the Bay. My wife was there on Ash Wednesday and the employees made very derogatory comments about the ashes on our foreheads, within earshot. We felt very uncomfortable in there.

One of the sales person in this store was extremely rude. I’m an ardent lover of jewelry and I entered this shop with keen interest to see what they had. As I entered, the mini shoe collection caught my attention. I did take a picture or two but the lady snapped very rudely. When I said a sorry, the woman still kept ranting on how one was not supposed to take pictures. She definitely lost some business right there. I believe stores may be sensitive about pictures being taken, but they shouldn’t be nasty and sarcastic about it to their potential customers unless they don’t care. In fact I take back my sorry as this sales person projected a shallow attitude and lack of customer focus.

Been there many of times for my purchases. They have a wide range of styles so it is easy for me to find something that will match the person I am gifting to. It ranges from simple and inexpensive, to exotic and pricey (and everything in between). Can’t say I like all the stuff they have, but that is taste: everyone’s is different. I can always find something I like, though, and I know the person I am getting if for will like to. The ladies are always very helpful and never pressure. They often have stuff on sale, and you can get some good deals.

Nice shop for unique jewelry, home décor and other gift type items. I bought a beaded gecko. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the jewelry items.
