I wouldn’t really be able to give a review because I was turned away. Told an hour an a half wasn’t enough time for a tattoo the size of a quarter. This business must do very well to turn away clientele! Aside from that the gentlemen seemed very interested until he saw the simplicity of my design.

Great looking, clean and bright shop. Great rates but sadly you get what you pay for. After my tattoo healed it looks like shit. I don’t know if the ink quality sucks or just the guy that gave it to me. My wife got a small cross on her wrist and Clay (I think was his name) wasn’t even able to do that right.
This by far isn’t my first tattoo, but I can say it’s the last one I’ll get from these guys. What a waste of an awesome looking shop.

Definitely recommend! My boyfriend and I went to get tattoos together. The shop is very clean. Ricky and Dean were very helpful and did a great job! Ricky helped me with the placement of my tattoo and was very knowledgable, Dean did a wording tattoo for my boyfriend and his writing was perfect. We couldn’t be happier!

I first visited Anonymous looking for a script chest tattoo and was guided to Dean, a calm and soft-​spoken dude with a lot to say in his artwork. Total professional and incredibly talented. After the chest tattoo and seeing a lot of his past work I wanted to come back for my next tattoo, a sort of neo-​traditional piece. I had a rather vague idea but felt confident enough in Dean to basically say «here’s what I’m going for, do what you want with it.»
Dean drew it up and when I came for my appointment and saw what he had in mind I didn’t ask to change a thing. While I’ve never had another Anonymous artist work on me, my understanding is they are all putting out the highest quality work Savannah has to offer.

Dean was wonderful and very patient with me. It was my first tattoo and first time even in a shop. It was super clean and everyone was very nice.

My last review got removed because it was «too good». Anyways, that was about 3 yrs ago when I first started getting tattooed by Zack. Now, I’ve finished 2 full color sleeves from Zack which equates to 75+hrs of actual tattooing.
I honestly don’t even know where to begin. There is so much quality work coming out of this shop. Every time I have left, I left with my expectations exceeded. I’ve since relocated to Hawaii, and have flown back to Savannah twice to get tattooed by Zack and Dean.
It’s way more than a «tattoo shop». The guys are beyond friendly and have great bedside manner for those who are new to tattooing. There is no «I’m the artist, it’s my way or the highway attitude» at the shop. They may suggest something slightly different, but they never put down the customer.
Long story short, I’ve literally spent DAYS of my life at this shop getting tattooed. It surpasses any other shop that I have been tattooed at (4 others) on so many levels. If you want the comfort of knowing you’ll leave with a quality tattoo and a great experience, this is the shop for you.

Like everyone else, I found Anonymous Tattoo to be very clean, professional, friendly and all around amazing with their work. Anonymous has an atmosphere that feels friendly, but at the same time they get their work done quickly but very, very, very cleanly. I have been to many different tattoo places in Savannah and nobody quite compares to Anonymous. I always feel like I’m meeting friends with I walk in, it feels homey, it feels cozy, which is so important to me when I get tattooed.
I took an idea to Dean and he turned it into something amazing. He made my idea a little bit bigger and added a few things to it — but also told me that these small changes would end up more beautiful than the original idea, and they did! I am incredibly satisfied with my forearm tattoo and I will be going back to him as my consistent artist for the rest of my arm. Dean was so nice, he conversed, he listened to my ideas for my arm, and told me which ideas would work best with my tattoo.
While Dean was tattooing me, multiple artists in the studio would walk past and briefly chat with Dean and I, commenting on his work and compliment my choice for a tattoo. This was very refreshing to me, as I felt like I was hanging out with a bunch of friends — not getting tattooed, the open area provides that feel.
Dean, Shaun, and Zack are all so talented and amazingly professional and friendly as well as humble. I honestly would not recommend any other tattoo place in Savannah, because my experience here was so awesome.
Not only all of that — but Dean’s got such a soft hand that my healing process on my arm has been gold. I haven’t experienced pain at all, and cleaning it has been very easy to me. I look forward to finishing my arm with Dean and beginning work on my other limbs!

Anytime a tattoo shop smells like pine sol, I’m happy. Very clean establishment and great work. I forgot the name of the artist who did my piece but he was newer to the shop. He had great line work and he worked relatively quickly. Fair prices, would recommend.

I got a basic, text tattoo (of geographical coordinates) done on my upper arm by Kim in 2010. Three years later, the tattoo looks like it was done yesterday. Her ability to ink text is unparallel, as it looks like it was lifted directly from the computer in which I typed it up on, onto my arm. Still to this day, I’ve had other tattoo artist compliment me on how well done it is. I live in Los Angeles now, a place where many great artist reside, but I would book the 3,000+ mile flight to Savannah, GA in a heartbeat when I plan on getting my next tat.

Traveled to Savannah from CA for a great vacation. Getting caught up in the history of the area I got the urge to get some ink to demonstrate my family history. Read some reviews on Anonymous and it was close to our place. Walked in and spoke to Dean who lucky for me was done with appointments for the day and had time to do a piece for me on the spot. Gave Dean my idea and talked me out of a portion if what I wanted as he felt it wouldn’t read well. He was right and ended up doing what he suggested and added his artistic flair to it and needless to say it ROCKS! The lines are precise and color with shading makes the piece look amazing. He did my family crest with colors that just pop and the detail is off the hook. I totally lucked out with Dean and I would no doubt recommend him to any of you. But I saw work come out of there by Rick and Aaron ?(sorry Bro forgot your name), and all of it was cool too. My point to you is there’s not a bad artist in this shop and you would do yourself and your tattoo needs right by choosing this place to get your work done. The prices are great for the quality you receive and if you’re going to drop several hundred dollars for permanent art it had better be great. Go check out Dean and the guys at Anonymous… you will not be disappointed. This is not your average shop or at-​least not what I’m used to… clean, airy, good music, chill vibe, and lots of natural light which is great for artist doing their work. Weather it’s your first or completing a sleeve these guys got you covered and the pride they take in their work reflects in the finished product. Enjoy your work at Anonymous.

They say that word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. I first heard about Anonymous Tattoo from an army buddy in Kandahar, Afghanistan. When I ended up stationed close to Savannah I knew I had to look up Clay at Anonymous. He’s done three excellent pieces for me and I’m sure he’ll do many more. Great clean shop full of professional artists. If you want a session with one of the established artists make sure to book well in advance. Just like anywhere the better the artist, the more wait time. Be prepared to be given frank criticism of your tattoo idea. No beating around the bush here. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Great shop! Both my wife and I had work done by Kimmie Reed. Colors popped and line work was excellent! She work with us both to make sure the work was exactly as we wanted it. Definitely worth the money! The shop is bright, open and plays good music to take your mind off the pain (yeah right!) Glad I went to get my Georgia ink there!

This tattoo shop is very clean and professional. If I was a tattoo artist in Savannah, this is where I would want to work.
Ron was my artist and he did an awesome job on my tattoo. I showed him some ideas of what I wanted from pics on the web, but he came up with something so much better and certainly more original. Too bad he is leaving soon to go back North, from what he was telling me.
There are still other great artists here though. My wife also got a couple of tattoos from another artist, Kimberly, that look great.
I waited for my tattoo to heal before reviewing and it looks awesome.

Anonymous Tattoo is the best shop in Savannah, in my honest opinion. All the artists are amazing, but Zack Spurlock has done all my work (since I moved south, at least) and I have nothing but awesome things to say about him and beautiful artwork to vouch for his talent. Coming from someone who is pretty covered in ink you can trust my opinion. The website speaks for itself, all the artists have portfolios up. The space is really bright and inviting, and there is no pretentious tattoo shop attitude at all. Each artists works with you to design the perfect piece. Walk in’s are welcome but its better to get an appointment, they’re usually pretty busy.

Special Shoutout from the ATL to Ron who did my work today at Ink and Dagger’s Annual Man Day Celebration. Ron was so fast, precise, nice enough to deal with the fact that this was my first ink session, and was cool as all heck.
His shadowing skill is amazing, and his work really speaks for itself. I’d definitely check out his portfolio online, and visit him if you’re in the Savannah area. I def plan to visit him when I head to Tybee Island again. Thanks Ron!

I get the impression everyone here is damn good at what they do. I can only vouch for Clay who did exquisite work on my arm. I went around Savannah looking for the perfect person to do this work, and I found him. He took my idea and replicated it perfectly, adding his own little touches which made the piece even better.
He was awesome to work with and seem to know exactly what should be done when I brought the picture in for a consultation. When it came time to actually get the work done, he was really communicative of what we were gonna do, how it was gonna be done, and always checked with me and waited for my input. He was patient, helpful, and the work is too good to be true.
I have to say I’m still waiting for it to finish healing, but I can tell it’s perfect. And if you’re gonna get something that takes up the entire upper half of your arm for the rest of your life, it better be perfect. And if you want perfect, you should hit up Clay at Anonymous.

After reading Unilocal reviews on Anonymous Tattoos and Kim Reed, I decided she was the one to do my next tattoo. We started emailing, and she was incredibly helpful in setting up my appt (i was only in Savannah for a day) and working with my idea. I called and put a deposit down on the tattoo (goes toward the price of the piece as long as you show up) and was good to go 2 weeks ahead of time.
The shop itself is a great space; very airy and tons of natural light. (I loved all the artwork on the walls) Everyone was friendly and welcoming. While I was in there, Rick was working on a very large piece on a young lady’s torso and she took a break a couple times. I don’t know a whole lot about tattoos, but I know art and his piece was break-​taking. He is an amazing artist.
But on to Kim. I loved her! She is a down-​to-​earth, no BS lady and her artwork exceeded my wildest dream! The only thing we changed on my piece was to have her do it in greyscale rather than color… she «got» that I wanted something delicate and feminine. It is truly a gorgeous piece of «jewelry» on my wrist. I enjoy showing it off. I would love to have her do another piece on me in the future. She is THAT GOOD.
I felt the prices at Anonymous were more than reasonable given the time and the talent I saw there. If you truly want a piece of art that you will be proud to have on your body forever, go see the folks at Anonymous.

I got tattooed by Kim Reed in May 2008. She took a shitty picture off google images that I brought her and turned it into a gorgeous, gorgeous tattoo that I get compliments on almost daily. It is everything I could have asked for. thank you for some amazing artwork!

While it wasn’t my main reason for vising my best friend Kate in Savannah this past August, it did happen to be our ten year friendship anniversary. To commemorate our long friendship we decided to get matching diamond tattoos, the traditional ten year anniversary gift. Having only been living in Savannah for three months Kate had no idea who could give us a couple of glamourous old school style diamonds; however, when she came upon the Anonymous Tattoo website and found tattooist Zack Spurlock she knew he was the man for us.
We couldn’t have had a better experience Zack. Luckly he was able to fit up in last minute, we only decided to take this leap of love a week before I was to be in Savannah. He was super empathetic to Kate as she was very nervous as this was her first tatoo. Although she didn’t let up complaining during her tattoo, he wasn’t heavy-​handed at all-she’s just a wimp!, Zack was able to engage her in conversation to help her through. So much so that later on that evening Kate was telling me about the floral half sleeve she would like to someday get. Because Kate had to leave for work I was left with Zack to be tattooed by myself, and he was nothing but nice, chatting with me the whole time. Our tattoos both healed amazingly well and they were priced very reasonably to boot!
The shop itself is a beautiful open loft setting, that gets an amazing amount of light. There are particians seperating each artist’s area, but they are not closed off, which I found to be nice as it seemed to create a really open environment and friendly atmosphere. Beaufitul art by the artists themselves hangs on the walls and the staff are all amazingly nice. If you’re getting a tattoo in Savannah, I’d say to definatly go here-​hell, I’m not even there and I’m planning to get work done on my next trip down.
