Please take my honest advice and avoid this company. When a prior property manager was here things were top notch renting a home and issues were taken care of right away with no headache. Not towards the end of the second year.
I rented a home from them for 2 years. Decently priced spec home in a pooler subdivision. Had some issues, but ones that didn’t bother me. I put them on the move in inspection and moved on.
Year one was pretty uneventful. Year 2 the plumbing line going to the sewer (main line) became clogged. Per lease agreements plumbing problems controllable by the tenant are the tenants responsibility. Ones I cannot control are not. I had to pay 300 bucks for a company to come at 3 am to snake the drain in my house. The house was flooding sewage out in the bathroom. They finally got the blockage out, it was tree roots. Clearly out of my control. I kept a clearly written invoice, and informed fox of the situation. (The night of i called the emergency maintenance line over two hours, no answer) never got phone calls from them, never got reimbursed because I was told (rather condescendingly) that I should have waited. I think sewage that was getting close to carpets is a big deal. Then carpet would’ve needed replaced. So 300 down the drain there.
On move out, that was another nightmare altogether. I got charged 80 dollars to clean a window sill in my master bedroom. I got charged 200 for a missing screen on a window. I got charged 300 for carpet that wasn’t cut to size in the entry way closet (new carpet when I moved in) so the extra curled up a little. Apparently I tore it up. And apparently it was 300 to fix.
Please please please avoid this place. Lee skelly kept things running great. This new wench they have working there is a vial human being who I am so happy i don’t have to deal with anymore. If anyone would like more info on this shady place please feel free to message me. Id hate for someone else to fall in the trap that I did.
