History

Established in 2009.

Dollface started as a vision from a passionate makeup artist who wanted to share her skill with the world. Jules De Jesus Fritz came to Savannah in late 2007 with nothing more than a makeup box and a dream. By 2009 Jules was full-​time with her growing company and ready to expand. She has since hand picked new artists to join her team who undergo rigorous training to bring their skill and professionalism up to the level expected from a Dollface Artist.

After working out of a small studio located at the Meddin Studios production facility, Jules knew it was time to expand. in April 2012, she opened the new Dollface Studio located in the posh shopping district in downtown Savannah on Broughton St.

As the company grows Jules is shifting our focus from solely applying makeup to include teaching makeup artistry to both aspiring artists as well as the common woman. With a goal to empower women’s inner confidence through outer beauty, Jules invites all women to join her in learning makeup!

As CEO and Founder of Dollface by Jules, Jules De Jesus Fritz has come a long way from her beginnings in Sebring, FL. Born in The Bronx, NY, Jules moved to Sebring at a young age with her family. As a child, Jules loved and excelled in everything related to beauty. She and her Mom (Momma Dollface) would sit up on Friday nights and play with makeup — no rules, just fun! Playing with the fun colors of the 80’s was all it took to hook this young artist into a life long love of everything makeup.

As Jules grew up, she was the girl that always did makeup for her friends, trying out new things and saving pennies to buy that new mascara. Working for brands like Clinique and MAC Pro, Jules soaked up all sorts of product knowledge on skin care, makeup and technique.

Moving to Savannah in 2007 to follow her dream, Jules stepped out into the world as a true makeup artist. Since then, Jules has worked on over 500 blushing brides, 4 feature films, 7 television shows, and dozens of celebrities!
