Kleo’s Sewing Studio

Boyfriend decided to wait the last day to get his suit pants for a wedding done. He was down to the wire with less than 24 hours to get his pants hemmed. We called around and didn’t have much luck because of all the weddings going on. Thankfully Kelo picked up and was able to fit us in same day. He also managed to rip the pants and she was able to fix that quickly as well!

I am very happy with my experience at Kleo’s. I had a bridesmaid dress that was too big and thus came to Kleo’s during drop-​in hours. There was no wait and the owner was very friendly. After her taking measurements for what needed to be taken in, I left the dress and came back a week later to try it on with temporary fixes. Then she was able to finalize those alterations and fix one additional thing for me to come pick up the dress the following day. The total cost was $ 40, which I thought seemed very fair considering she said it was about two hours of work. I am really pleased with the new fit and look of my dress and I would recommend Kleo’s to anyone! It is well worth the cost to have your clothes fit you perfectly and I really appreciated the prompt and courteous service that was provided.

I had to buy a horrendous bridesmaid dress that didn’t fit nor did it zip up fully. Nicole added lacing where the zipper wouldn’t zip up. It looked great. She had the dress ready when she said it would be.
Walk ins on Mon and Fri, but I would call first in case her sched changes. The entrance is beside the paris market and located on 2^nd floor. There is no changing area in studio, but the bathroom is down the hall. I definitely recommend! She made an ugly bridesmaid dress wearable! I didn’t have to lose 10lbs to fit in the dress! Yay!

I’m basically a trend setter… no big deal. And I needed some pants altered to my ruggedly handsome size and ego. Kleo’s sewing and tailor went above and beyond!
I’m a simple man in taste but sometimes I want a little style and most pants do not come in an athletic cut nowadays. I called Kleo’s with a week timeframe to tailor my pants. I was expecting a rush fee and hype, but got nothing except a perfect fit and friendly customer service.
I met her on Monday and got pinned and sized and quoted on a price. Wednesday was an initial fitting and Friday they were ready to rock. Germany and Eastern Europe prepare yourself for my pants!
The price was awesome and though I’m sure that she put more hours then initially quoted, she kept her word on the price she initially quoted. Seriously men and women, if your not happy with something your wearing due to factory cut, go here and get it altered to fit you.
You gotta like the way you look. Own it!

High-​end alterations: I have taken no less than five very high-​end expensive beaded/​sequinned and chiffon dance costumes to her for alterations and she did absolutely immaculate work on them. I have taken things to others in town but her skills are on a VERY high level. I will never go to anyone else.
Sewing lessons: my 11 year old son and I took her sewing lessons and I can tell you that she is not only a great and patient teacher but makes it fun and accessible. I really didn’t know what he would think about the whole experience but she told us we could bring our own fabric to make pillow covers and he had a great time choosing between pirate and sports-​themed fabric and thouroughly enjoyed learning to use the sewing machine. As for me, I am notoriously bad at sewing but I learned an enourmous amount.
Studio: the studio is a beautiful Victorian space above the Paris Market and very well equipped with professional machines. It smells really nice because of the natural soaps that she also makes and sells.

Highly recommend, I couldn’t be happier! Talented seamstress with an actual degree from SCAD in gain design to back up her skills. Her work is terrific and reasonably priced. I’ve had two dresses, two pairs of pants alerted by her and my wedding dress redesigned for second use. They fit perfectly now and i can’t even tell where she took then apart. She had them stream pressed and hanging up for me and was right on time with them. She’s a true pro at what she does and the only person I trust with expensive clothes. I also love that she will do custom tailoring! I’ve seen a couple dresses she made for other clients and they looked runway ready.
