I took to my stoop started as a blog but morphed into a content strategy and lifestyle company. Using techniques from the social sciences (specifically anthropology, psychology, and sociology) we help you tell your story better, whether you’re a business or an individual.

I started «I took to my stoop» in 2012, while transitioning between college and a PhD program in socio-​cultural anthropology. I realized the value of using photographs, videos and ethnographic writing to bring vibrance to things, moments, people or business that might otherwise go unnoticed. When I work, it is in an effort to bring extraordinary observation to ordinary moments, a little wonderfulness to the everyday.
