I get my oil changes and tire repairs/replacements done here, and drive all the way over from Hilton Head/Bluffton area. I appreciate supporting a locally owned business and more so than that I like that they are very honest in helping me decide what my car DOES and DOESNOT need, I feel like a lot of places try to add on filters, and all kinds of things to up your end price. Rutland does not do this they are very up front and great at explaining all the in’s and out’s of what kind of service you are getting.

If your looking for customer service, I would suggest going elsewhere. I carried a company vehicle tire to these guys to be patched after having a flat. Left all POC information and was told I would be called the afternoon after I left it. Well, the call never came. After two days and a weekend I went back and the tire was ready. The attitude of the people in the shop was as if they were disgusted at me for bothering them. And the icing on the cake, they never even offered to mount the tire back on my vehicle… the exact words were, «Pull down to bay 5 and they will get it for you.» And, that’s exactly how it worked out, I pulled down to the bay, they threw it in the back and turned and walked away… never even got a «Thanks for the business» or anything of the sort. No, I was not buying $ 2000 worth of tires and rims, but being a former salesman, every penny made was worth a thank you. At least now, when I do purchase new tires for my personal vehicle, I know where not to go. I hope this helps someone out when choosing a tire and break shop locally.
