We came here during the weekend so it was pretty packed. The moment we set foot in the store we were greeted by one of the girls. When we were at the back of the store another employee greeted us and offered us some samples of different flavored gummy bears. There are containers that you can grab and fill up with candy. She told us that because they don’t charge by weight it’s best to cram as much candy as you can get inside. You can personalize the container with pictures, names and quotes. You can refill the container anytime at a 20% discount. They also have plastic bags if you don’t want to purchase a container. We got about a cups worth of Gummies and the bill was around $ 7.00 You have to put on a plastic glove for scooping up candy. They have all sorts of Gummies including chicken feet. I liked all the ones we purchased except for the ice cream cones. Ice cream flavor was NOT meant for a gummy candy. They have all sorts of chocolate next to the registers. All the girls there were pleasant and polite. It’s a cute store!

I had been to Woodfield a few days earlier and walked by this store and thought it looked like a fun place to bring my kids for treat. We walked in and they offered us samples that my kids said were great. The store is clean and their are employees walking around to make sure that it stays that way and that candy does not get contaminated. Their selection is really good and there really is something for everyone. I did think that they were a little pricey for bulk candy but if you bring your containers back you get a discount the next time around. Also you can have a custom label printed for your candy to make it more personal.

I saw this store and went inside. They have all types of candy and chocolates. I didn’t have a sweet tooth but the next time I’m there I’ll make sure I will get some. They also have it where you can try samples but you have to see the Store clerk for that.

Get Happy caught my eye as I walked by. I mean, I’m all about happy. And I love candy. There was also a guy giving out free samples of their gummy hearts that I happened to recognize rom a volunteering event a few months ago, so it was even more reason to stop in and check it out. Oh, but the hearts? YUM! And soooo gummy! Get Happy has a very clean, sleek look with lots of glass containers filled with candies of different colors — gummies, chocolates, candy fruit slices, sour candies, and more. It’s basically a modern candy store. If Willy Wonka existed in today’s world, this is how I would imagine his store to look like, but on a much larger scale. I really wanted to take photos, but as I was snapping one, an employee pointed out a sign to me indicating that couldn’t take photos. Bummer. The concept behind Get Happy is that you pick out a cute container(available in varying sizes), fill it up with whatever candy you want from the store, and then add your own personalized message to the container. You pay per container, not by weight, which is fantastic with heavier candies and not so fantastic with others. It’s a cute idea. I just don’t know if I’ll ever come here to get some personalized candy. I’ll probably come back to stare at all the yummy candy, though…
