History

Established in 1991.

Medieval Times is based on an authentic medieval history and the true story of a noble family with documentation dating back to the 11th century.

Medieval Times began with two dinner/entertainment complexes located in Majorca and Bernidorm, Spain. The first North American castle in Kissimmee, Florida opened in December 1983 and has since entertained more than 8 million guests. The Schaumburg location opened in 1991 and is one of the largest castles. Medieval Times also has castles in Buena Park, California; Dallas, Texas; Lyndhurst (The Meadowlands), New Jersey; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Atlanta Georgia.

Medieval Times is located at 2001 N. Roselle Road. Located just 10 minutes from Woodfield Mall and 30 minutes west of Chicago. Conveniently located at the intersection of I-90 and Roselle Road.

Meet the Manager

Marla H.

Manager

For the past 4 years I have had the pleasure of experiencing the excitement and passion that Medieval Times puts into every detail of the show. From the beautiful Andalusian Stallions to the tasty four course meal. The intense rehearsel of the cast and team members, makes the execution nothing but exciting. With my history working for a Fortune 500 company and where customer service was of great importance and this training is a trait I carry over to Medieval Times. I act as the suburban liaison for the Chicago Chapter of the National Concierge Association and have a passion for communicating the exciting experience all our guest have stepping back in time.
