There’s something about this place. Whether your goals are as modest as shooting hoops in a friendly environment or as ambitious as imparting important values to your children, the J is the ideal place to live up to them. Our JCC is a great place to become involved in your community, meet up with old friends or connect with new ones. You’ll find Camp Yachad day, travel, sports and performing arts camps; preschool; our state-​of-​the-​art Fitness Center with group exercise classes, league play, indoor and outdoor pools and so much more for every age and interest! We are committed to our Jewish heritage, identity and values but at the same time, we are also very proud to be a non-​sectarian and diverse center — open to everyone.

Key programs include preschool, transitional and full day kindergarten and after-​school programs, summer day camp, travel camp, multi-​sports day camp and performing arts camp, sports leagues for youth and adults, youth and teen programs, cultural arts and education programs and adult and senior adult services.

Our facilities include a 64,000 square foot campus with playground and campground, a state-​of-​the-​art fitness and wellness center featuring new equipment, group exercise classes and personal training, and a full size air conditioned gym. The JCC also features indoor and outdoor pools and aquatics programs including lap swim, open swim, swim teams, and swim lessons, an art studio, a café and a conference center.

Established in 1914.

Although we have been located in Scotch Plains at 1391 Martine Avenue since 1987, our history dates back to 1914.
