Food Fairy Program

Food Fairy was such a smash hit at my 5 year old son’s birthday party! We teach our kids about nutritious food in our home and we thought it would be a wonderful idea to spread the word to the kids coming to his party. Food Fairy did face painting during the party and then she gave such a fun and engaging magic show for the kids, all the while teaching them about healthy food options. She was full of energy, had a great way of getting the kids involved and made the birthday boy feel super special as well. We loved having her!!! Thank you FOOD FAIRY! You rock!!!

I just wish there were more like her! The Food Fairy enlightens as well as entertains and if you’re like me, that holds allot of stock! Some great points, she’s professional, the children are totally into learning about healthy food habits (so much so that my children are now correcting my eating habits!) and they are so riveted that I actually got a break and got to sit for a bit and relax! I have no complaints! She can do small crowds and large crowds since I know she can do schools as well as birthday parties. Highly recommend her! You will be impressed!

First off I thank you for educating the lil ones of the truth about eating healthy, I had the pleasure sitting 1^st row today at the youth day festival held inside the Santa Cruz fair grounds and from the start you had my wife’s and my attention! Absolutely creative and innovative unknowing of the direction we soon understood that although it may not have been «GOTTEN» by many we know your message. Hearing you share with the kids priceless information about how the foods in the supermarket are loaded high fructose this yellow #5 that… etc etc. I saw how your show can help change the direction of our children’s future. I highly recommend the good fairy and I will book you in the future for my children’s party. The Food Fairy came to a picnic for my midwifery practice picnic– and was a big hit, with the kids and parents alike!

Kids eat. All the time. They want and crave nutrient-​rich food, but are (from earlier than they’ll ever remember) assaulted with easy, salty and sugary no-​nutrient food. And here’s the kicker that most adults don’t realize: kids don’t *know* what is healthy and what is not — it’s not like nutrition is native knowledge. But the desire to learn *is* native to all kids — and that’s why we fully endorse the Food Fairy.
Learning about making good food choices in a fun, interactive way is the *best* way to begin the educational process behind making healthy, powerful (and easy) food choices — for kids and parents alike. That’s exactly what the Food Fairy provides. Kids love her program. She’s also really capable at helping parents with great snack ideas and overcoming picky eaters (or ones that have vegetaphobia) — and she’s very realistic about the fact that all of us parents have limited time, limited budgets and a high likelihood of taking baby steps toward improvement.
Schools support her, scout troops of all ages should book her (as should any self-​respecting athletic team) and if you’re a harried parent dealing with diet-​related unusualness with your kids (physical health, behavior, etc) she can help with that too. A very valuable resource for kids and adults — and considering that we (literally) are what we eat — one that I’m surprised so many families do without. This is a really good gift to give children. We’re fans.
