IT Amazing Computer Repair & Networking

We have been using this business for almost two years now and are still completely satisfied with the competence and expertise of Michael and his team. Today we had 4 separate issues and Michael solved them all quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Highly recommend this business!

These folks are amazing. After a dubious experience with another shop that resulted in my pc having a very messed up new hard drive with lots of folders missing, I took my computer to these guys down the street. They were unrushed, accessible, understanding and capable of discussing my situation in a manner I could grasp. Better than that, they fixed my machine and put everything (i.e., folders, etc) back where it was before the dysfunction began. And it didn’t take that long. Hats off to Justin and the rest of the crew.

Michael Simoni, owner of IT Amazing, is… amazing! He is kind, easy to communicate with (for IT dinos like myself), skillful, and gets the job done on time, or early. I have been using his services for the last four years. Couldn’t be happier.

I use my MacBook Pro every single day and it was due for a cleaning, keyboard replacement and power cable connection replacement. They turned it around super fast and it was very affordable. I highly recommend them. Very friendly service and they keep you apprised of how things are going.

Updating my review: even though it was a bit of a long journey these guys replaced the bad battery they sold me and were very nice to deal with.

I have over 20 years in computer hi-​tech working on various hardware and software platforms. My laptop DC power jack male pin had worn down making poor contact. Normally I would do the repair myself, but not having a fine soldering tip, nor willing to go buy a new gun for this one occasion, and busy with multiple projects, I decided to outsource the labor.
I eMailed computer repair shops in Santa Cruz area. Several didn’t have the expertise, one quoted two hundred fifty dollars plus [ah-​duh], another had to see the laptop [ah-​duh], another quoted one-​eighty but would lower it to one-​twenty if I brought in the the two dollar-​fifty cent part [ah-​duh-​duh]. Gee, how nice of you not to charge fifty seven dollars and fifty cents for a two dollar fifty cent part. Must be the cost of living in Soquel! The ONLY professional reply I received came from Michael Simoni who quoted their 2 hour minimum charge of one-​eighteen.
Brought the laptop in and was greeted by MIchael and his co-​worker in a friendly manner. Returned for my laptop and too my surprise Michael discounted the estimate down to eighty-​eighty fifty as it took only an hour and a half. Sweet!
Nice guys, super service, super friendly. Nice to know an honest business professional still exist. btw, laptop brought in clean w/​no fingerprints or smudges. Got it back the same way… clean! Thanks guys!

Professional, affordable, on-​time, on-​budget. Have used Michael for on-​site IT needs at my office and couldn’t be happier. He has the ability to listen to the non-​tech-​savvy, interpret what is needed as a fix (or in my case a semi-​complicated migration to an entirely new mail exchange system across multiple devices), break that need into a best solution, map a transition process and also a step-​by-​step timeline and then executes it without a hiccup. If an IT person can do that without tripping all over the place I am sure his computer repair and upgrade skills are excellent too. Highly recommended.

These guys are great! I brought my lap top in because it had a blue screen and would not connect to the internet. It was previously at staples Easy Tech (big mistake). They had my computer for three weeks and could not find the problem. They suggested I purchase a new computer mine was not fixable. Plus they were not a very Pleasant bunch. Thank god I didn’t not listen to them. I found IT Amaze on Unilocal.There reviews were good. I called them. Brought my computer in they checked it out and fixed it. In a matter of just a few hours
my lap top was working GREAT! I’m so happy. They saved me a lot of money.

I can not recommend IT Amazing more!!! I am fairly a novice when it deals with computers, especially repairs. IT Amazing is one of the most honest, reliable, reasonable priced, and knowledgeable businesses I have ever encountered. I trust this business without reservation.
When I first brought my damaged computer in last month, they gave me a free diagnosis, and then came up with a brilliant idea on how to access my hard drive. The total cost was $ 20 for the hard drive case. This week, I had to bring back another computer to install extra memory. Done within in a day!

This place is GREAT! They fixed my computer, and now it runs like NEW. They even personally delivered my computer to my house because I was having car problems.
I was pleasantly surprised at their «over the top» service & friendliness.

«Amazing» is exactly the right word. Couldn’t be happier with the two times I’ve brought my laptop into the folks at IT Amazing, and I’m so glad I found them through Unilocal.I can recommend them without hesitation.

I took a laptop in with probably common complaints.
* runs slow
* can’t log in for my banking
* too many pop ups
He spent the better part of an hour deleting nonsense that had inadvertently accumulated over the past few years including the so called security programs I had.
The lap top now works as good as the day I bought it AND he installed a better security program that requires less effort on my part. I picked his brain while he did his thing and learned quite a bit also.
If you need Geek Support, this is the place to go.

Found these guys on Unilocal when my Mac crashed and it was repaired the same day! Great customer service, very good at explaining to me what was happening (thank you Dustin) and now will always go back to them with my computer issues.

My six year old iMac decided to stop working completely, so I dropped it off at IT Amazing for a free diagnostic. They called me the same day to let me know that my hard drive was dead and that it would need a new hard drive and operating system installed. Their quote was so low that I had to ask to make sure that their time and labor was included. I brought it in on a Friday around 2pm and it was ready for me to pick up on Monday at 10am. They saved me $ 70 because instead of trying to restore from the old hard drive, they asked if I had backed up my machine via Time Machine, which I had, and then told me that I could back my old machine to the new hard drive by myself. They are super quick, super friendly and nice and priced really well. I will definitely be bringing anything I need to them!

Had a simple issue with internet browser. They helped me out and updated it for free! Great place to have computer work done. Fast and friendly!

Fantastic service at a very reasonable price. My aged MacBook Pro had issues that I could not diagnose myself, and the team at IT Amazing was able to evaluate the machine at no charge. Unfortunately the laptop was effectively terminal (bad GPU), but they certainly tried everything to breathe life back into it before pulling the proverbial plug. Very glad to not have to spend any money on something that was unfixable in the end.
When I purchased a replacement laptop they offered to harvest the old hard drive and mount it in an external case for a very nominal fee, so that I could access the data and migrate it over with ease.
I hope I don’t «need» to use IT Amazing again, but I’m glad they’re there if I do.

They are are truly amazing. I don’t write many reviews but I’m writing onefor I T Amazing. I had a very rare computer issue that no one could figure out. We were about to trash the computer (which was fairly new) and buy another… UNTIL… I had these guys take a look it! My computer program is up and running and my business was able to continue without any major delays.
