Specialties
For nearly 27 years, Chop and Wok served up the tastiest most authentic Chinese food in Scottsdale. Now housed off the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, Chop and Wok (and the accompanying Wok Star Bar) is now reopened after a kitchen fire in 2011 shut them down for 2 years.
Chop and Wok’s loyal patrons celebrated the news of their opening and new location across the street from the last establishment. The new digs sport a large take out desk in the rear entrance, a square bar serving 31 beers on tap, cocktail tables, the infamous Orange Sunshine shots, s sizable kitchen with see-through windows, a front patio on Scottsdale Road, and plenty of rock n’ roll memorabilia giving the place a heavy dose of personality.
Led by front man Jamie Mather– the blond, spiked hair, punk-rock-looking dude often found behind the bar– and owners Stacy LeDoux and Steven McFarlane. Chop and Wok is all about having a good time, good bante.
