My experience as a writing instructor and tutor working with college freshman helped me realize that high school seniors need extra support when it comes to crafting their personal stories. My marketing background also proves useful when showing students how to properly market their talents and strengths to colleges.

Business Owner

My background includes 10+years as a writing instructor at Long Beach City College, as well as a small side business of writing and publishing personal stories. Prior to becoming a teacher and author, I worked as a marketing executive. Today, I combine all these skills to help high school seniors find and write their personal stories – the most difficult part of the application process and the student’s only marketing tool.
