They are total crooks! Not only do they not fix what was wrong with your car the first time, but your car somehow has something new wrong with it right when you drive off, I shit you not. I kept going back a few times so that they could fix their mistakes until I had a mechanic check out my car before hand the last time I went there and caught them red handed!

I would definitely recommend Marlow Mercedes-​Werks to everyone. Both Kerry and Nathan are the best and knowledgeable guys you want on your Mercedes team. Honest, punctual. And dependable. What more does one want!.. This is my second Mercedes I have taken here and will continue… Without hesitation. To keep coming back.

If there was a rating below 1 star if use it. Ok. Lemme begin with the fact that I drive and own my second Mercedes Benz S class and there are just some things in the world that just need to be put right. Ok Chuck, first off ya don’t have to remove a bumper from a W220.175 or any other W220 for that matter. Next the fact that you lied to my face regarding my telematic error saying it had to be coded away with the stereo… Umm. No. Lemme help you out and some other S class owners who know no better. Mention P-B-82.95/636c to any Mercedes Benz service advisor and they are not going to tell you anything about a stereo. Next we have the we checked and topped your fluids and tires. Within two hour of leaving your shop I had to add exactly 1 quart of oil, receipt to prove date and time. Then my tires. We talked about it but what puzzles me other than the fact I caught you when I told you that you couldn’t remove my tire caps without the key. Then it was stated that they read dashboard. All fine and dandy but my gas cap clearly states front tires 29psi and rear 32psi and that is what the tpms reads. And when I left they were all at 38psi! I bought a bi xenon D2R and replaced a bulb myself. And then on top of all that… to add injury to insult I wasn’t even told about all of the uncleared codes that were registered in the car, even by changing a tut signal light in front. You cleared nothing but charged me for a $ 3.99 piece of plastic and an hour of labor for clearing 1 SRS code… not an SOS code which can be done by Mercedes. I seriously would not recommend your average Mercedes Benz owner to come to this shop as its not as nearly as good as the experience at the real dealership and to boot… My car was looked over and fawned over by a recorded 3 to 4 techs on my car but not 1 thought to even wash it! Really Chucky, you may have people who have great or even excellent customer service but when it comes to the actual service itself… extremely subpar… Now that the error of sos has been cleared by Mercedes Benz of Montery without having anything to do with my stereo. I do not appreciate being lied to or given knowledge from one who is ignorant to the processes of a Mercedes Benz S500 which is more than skin deep. Add note. If a customers car is there at least you could wash it. At Mercedes Benz of Monterey I was in serviced and car washed and complete in about an hour.

I have recommended Marlow Mercedes-​Werks to all my friends and now to all Unilocalers.
Charlie and Co. are first and foremost honest, which to me is the most valuable trait when the consumer is not knowledgable about the subject matter (car repair and maintenance).
The prices are fair and repairs are never recommended unless necessary — which had happened to me at previous auto repair shops.
You will receive top notch service (auto repair and customer) at this business.

I knew most of the folks at Marlow Mercedes Werks when Bill Stahl ran the old Stahl Motors.
Then, when Stahl changed management I was sooooo happy to find my good buddies started their OWN Auto Repair even IMPROVING what they had spoiled me at Stahl Motors! What a treat! I feel I got extraordinary service at a very fair and reasonable price!

Not only did we get excellent service, but the staff and personnel were very accommodating. They thoroughly explained everything that was going on with my vehicle and detailed what was needed along with the costs. This was one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had at a service center EVER! They also replaced one of the marker bulbs that had burned out, free of charge. Nathan was great! We will be return customers upon our next service needs.

So, I went back to Marlow and was helped by Kerry and Nathan, both super helpful knowledgable and honest. Gavé me the real lowdown on what my car truly needed, not trying to sell me everythign in the shop. Had service done and great recommendations, sought alternatives and reasonably priced solutions. My Mercedes lust leans toward the AMG versions especially the 12 cylinder ones. Previously I owned an SL65 AMG and a CL65 AMG. These are the extreme high performance models of the Mercedes AMG lineup and require knowledgeable care. When their factory new car warranties expired I started taking them to Kerry and Charlie at Marlow Mercedes-​Werks. I was pleased and surprised at the quality work and reasonable pricing they provided for my babies. It was not always that way at the dealer. I recently purchased a 2013 CL65 AMG and the nano-​second it is off warranty it will be their charge to keep its 621 ponies wide awake and raring to go. After spending over 200K for a car I feel justified in being very picky about how it operates and whom cares for it. I am a happy Marlow client. Sincerely, JHR

I have owned Mercedes on and off for many years. While the local dealer does a very good job, Cary and Charlie at Marlow’s go above and beyond. They have techs that know these cars as well as they can be known and they fix things and maintain you car right the first time. They are the best repair shop I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with a lot of them over the years. Very, very professional, friendly and they are price competitive. I would recommend them to anyone who has a new or used Mercedes without fail…

I have owned Mercedes cars exclusively since 1992, here on the Monterey Peninsula. I have known Charlie since he worked (on my cars) as a mechanic at the local Mercedes dealer. Until Charlie opened his own shop, I always took my cars to the dealer. But I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else but Charlie’s now. Besides being a Certified Mercedes Master Mechanic (a certification one has to compete for), between Charlie and his senior mechanics Roger and Derek, and his service manager Kerry, himself also a former mechanic, together they have over 100 years of Mercedes mechanic experience! And Sue, in the front, has over 30 years office experience with Mercedes. All formerly worked at the local Mercedes dealer. Now they work for Charlie. That ought to tell you something.
The best thing I can say professionally about Charlie is that he won’t let you spend money needlessly on your car. This is a shop you can trust will always place your interest first. Stop by and just meet them. You’ll get a good feeling about the place.
I often ponder buying a different model car than a Mercedes — I’ve always lusted after some Jaguars. But the thing that causes me the biggest anxiety about making such a change is losing Charlie’s place as my shop.

My husband and I both have Mercedes and have never received such great service and fair pricing. We recently purchased another Mercedes and one of the main factors was the quality of the car and knowing we could bring it to be routinely serviced and repaired through the knowledgable staff at Marlow Mercedes. We can’t recommend them enough!!!

I was traveling for business and staying at a nearby hotel for a conference when I had a problem with the cooling system and overheated. Marlow’s came to the hotel to get my car and fixed it fast. Charlie could easily taken advantage of an out of town traveler, but fixed it fairly and inexpensively. My ’07 S550 4matic ran perfect for the 400 mile trip home. Very professional and personable shop. There is no doubt that this would be my repair shop if I lived locally!!!

Charlie Marlow has assembled a great team, all MB specialists. Work is fast and prices are right where they should be — not rock bottom but way below the dealership, and the quality is excellent.
My favorite detail: the shop floor is always spotless. I drive a restored ’77, but I also see late model SLKs in the garage, too.

I was interested in purchasing a 1980 240D (diesel) Mercedes and so I took the car to Charlie at Marlow Mercedes-​Werks to give me his opinion as to the condition of the vehicle before I would decide to buy it. He told me that he would perform a full check but not perform a compression test on the vehicle. I kind of thought that this was odd but left it up to him to tell me what was important in determining whether I should buy the car.
As it turned out, I discovered that the very most important diagnosis to perform before purchasing a diesel car/​Mercedes is to give it a compression test. I guess I trusted him too much and I was a bit naïve, however, you would think that Charlie would have steered me in the right direction. The car burns a lot of oil and I plan on replacing the engine soon.
Furthermore, after having thought about it a bit more, the woman who sold the car to me knew Charlie and recommended him because she had her other Mercedes repaired by him… Charlie was probably quite interested in keeping her as a client and and didn’t think much of misleading me since I was a one-​time only client.

I have been looking for three years for a competent, honest Mercedes Repair Shop and I finally found it. Charlie Marlow had been shop foreman for the local Mercedes Dealer for almost twenty years before opening his own business in nearby Seaside. His shop is clean, well equipped with all the most up to date equipment. I took my ’92 300STE for a problem two other mechanics told me would cost almost $ 2000 to repair. Charlie found a disconnected hose, fixed it in about 10 minutes! Subsequently, he has performs other services in a most professional, competent manner. Great mechanic, friendly, honest and the whole operation just makes you feel like they really care about their clients, a real family operation.
