Bray, Luata LMP

I met Luata in 2002 – 3 when I went to her for help in easing recurring back pain. I saw her for a few months and always felt cared for when I went to see her. When I had a car accident in October 2013, and my doctor referred me to massage therapy, I immediately thought of Luata. Even though it had been 10 years since I had seen her, she remembered me and helped me through a lot of issues, emotionally as well as physically. when she closed her practice for a few weeks due to a health issue she needed to deal with, she referred me to another therapist. But because I love Luata so much and don’t trust anyone else, I waited for her return (and I would wait forever for her) to come back to continue treatment.
Luata cares about the whole person and wants to be sure that when she finishes with a patient, that person is in the best possible position to live life to the fullest. She is crazy smart and knowledgeable, and is amazing in her practice. She digs deep into muscles to make sure your blood is flowing and helping you heal. I would recommend her to anyone and with the faith that you will walk out feeling like you’ve been cared for from head to toe.

It took me a couple of years and I went through several massage therapists before being referred to Luata Bray Massage. When I met her and saw her massage room, I knew I found the massage therapist I was looking for. She is a wonderful woman and has many years of experience and continually learns new techniques. She has helped align my body, told me what to do and I no longer have sciatic pain. If I have a kink or two in between session, she will call when there is an opening. To me, Luata is THE BEST! My insurance does not pay for massages — I do and it is so worth it. It is not only a luxury, but a necessity for me.

luata has always provided a warm and inviting space paired with skilled therapeutic massage backed by decades of experience. after a season of mountaineering combined with my normal bicycle commuting and other strenuous activities, i found myself being unable to bounce back like as in years past. luata’s hands got to work and gave me the mobility that i sought.
i was impressed not only with the outcome of just a few sessions with her, but also how her practice was firmly grounded in both science and the healing traditions. i would recommend her without reservation.

In the past, I’ve had some good, even some great, massages, but Luata is the only person I’ve found who combines amazing, genuine healing personality with an outstanding knowledge of physiology. I found her web page because I specifically wanted an orthopedic massage. I tend to have little patience with massages that are entirely woo-​woo and New Agey and all about «channelling energetics» and so on. I need some science behind my massage. And Luata has it in buckets. But… she also does the spiritual thing. And it doesn’t feel put-​on. I’m the kind of person who never thought I would use words like «healing energy» in a sentence. But Luata is a life force, a true healer, a big soul who melts the most sceptical hearts. And knows her stuff better than many ortho MDs.

This wonderful woman is a healer! Her knowledge of body work is extensive. She will understand your problems and work to solve them. Some insurance is accepted.
The location is convenient, street parking is free, and her space is peaceful, comfortable and charming.
