Self-storage has always been terribly inconvenient, overpriced, and often too far away. Nobody ever wants to drive to a storage unit and dig through boxes trying to find that one item you needed. What a waste of time and energy.
We thought there had to be a better way, thus CrateAway was created! It was born out of our struggles as urban professionals and as new parents with busy lives. You know how busy lives can too often lead to chaos, crazy schedules, messy homes and additional stress.
Our mission is to make storage as painless and easy as possible for our customers. Just think of us as your extra or virtual closet. Pick up and delivery is only a fingertip away by utilizing technology.

After working at Microsoft and Amazon, my wife and I bought our first home here in Seattle. Once we finally moved into our house and had our first child, we recognized the need for a better home organization service.
As a growing family, we soon realized that we had accumulated more stuff including everything that comes with a new baby than our home could comfortably hold. Thus, CrateAway was born.
Our goal is to help families clean the clutter from your home and reclaim your space so you can enjoy your lives. Imagine using your extra space as a guest room instead of a storage closet, to host a holiday party in your living room free of stress and clutter, or simply being able to walk into your home without stepping on extra books, toys or bags in the entryway.
