Crepe Cafe & Wine Bar

Three of us enjoyed breakfast here on a late Saturday morning. We each ordered a different crêpe. The blueberry and ricotta crêpe took me away. Perfectly sweet and well balanced, and HUGE. The egg, tomato, sour cream, and avocado crêpe was a surprise, it looked plain but was far from ordinary on tasting it. And we ordered the peach crêpe special. The peaches were a bit tart, but that was easily fixed by lightly sprinkling them with some sugar. But the toasted almonds sprinkled over the top… My goodness I wanted a bag of them to take with me and snack on all day. Perfectly caramelized without a hint of burning. The coffees were also wonderful. The place is small, seats 10 at most, but definitely worth trying. I wish I had time to go back again before I leave town!

Crêpes were great, met a wonderful Kazakhstani woman who gave us great service even though they were already closed! Highly recommended for better than average service.

Cute little bistro with friendly service. They have a variety of both savory and sweet crepes and the sweet crepes comes in two sizes. I opted for the full size strawberry Nutella crêpe. Delicious, but far too much even for my sweet tooth self. I’d recommend getting a half size unless you really feel the need to be in a sugar shock.

As with many of the other reviews before me, I’d give Crêpe Café a ⁴⁄₅ star. The place is an incredibly small, but delightful spot to grab a bite. We arrived around 12:45 on a Saturaday, and the place was empty. The waitress told us they had just got done with a big lunch rush, so lucky for us we had the place to ourselves. Because this place is so small the service is incredibly fast and friendly.
The crepes themselves are very flavorful. We only tried the savory crepes, but they were fairly large and tasty. I had the JaJa crêpe and I will admit that I wish there had been more chicken (mine seemed severely unstuffed compared to my 2 guests). I also wish it’d have been served with more pesto sauce because overall it was quite dry. Overall though I was very happy and thought it was one of the best crepes I’ve had in Seattle.
I will put the warning out there that this is very pricey for what you receive. A mid-​sized lunch crêpe is 15 dollars without tax and tip.
Personally, this place isn’t my style and I won’t be back for lunch. However, if you’re into a bit more artisan crepes look no further! I cannot comment on the dessert crepes as I did not try any, but they did look amazing!
There is no parking lot associated with this restaurant. You will need to street park, but in my experience a space was not difficult to find.

Best crepes I’ve ever had. Chocolate with Strawberries or anything with Nutella. This is one of my favorite places on the planet!

I went with a dessert crêpe (chocolate + strawberries) and was extremely satisfied. It was delicious, a good mix of tart and sweet and the chocolate wasn’t overpowering which is perfect! Would definitely come back to try other crepes!

Oh how the mighty have fallen. This used to be mine and my wife’s favorite joint. We were what you could call «regulars» we knew the staff and loved them. When the original owner sold The Crêpe Café, it was never the same. We kept going back hoping it would be great, but it was always okay. There is something missing in every dish and the service is not great. Most recently we had an old
coupon and decided to give The Crêpe Café another shot. They would not honor the coupon and the waitress said it was my fault for not giving it to her at the beginning. I said, «Oh, so this is my fault, I see.» She replied very rudely, «Nobody forced you to eat here.» Needless to say, that will be the last time I eat at the Crêpe Café and unfortunately all we will have are fond memories of our once upon a time Seattle favorite.

One of my favorite hidden gems in Seattle! The food is so great and unlike anything else in Seattle and the service is terrific. I’ve never waited for a table but the place is tiny, which is the only downside if you have a large group. Fresh fruit blintz is my favorite and the French press coffee is a must.

This is my favorite restaurant! The BEST crepes I EVER TASTED my entire life! Savory crepes most especially! Too bad the place is kinda small, only good for couples I suggest. But would definitely come back for more!

Excellent crepes. I tried the comfort crêpe and it was great. Great place for Sunday brunch or breakfast. Good for kids and old people alike. Will try to go again if I’m in Seattle.
Service was also good and staff is friendly.

I have some mixed feelings about the Crêpe Café. I’ve only been in for brunch. I love crepes, but my favorite place on Capitol Hill closed last year and this one is a lot more convenient for me. They have some tasty options on the menu, but I find the food is hit and miss.
I recently tried the «saved by the bell» and it was basically a giant pile of chorizo wrapped in a crêpe with not much else going on. It was a let-​down. I love chorizo, but I was expecting some other ingredients. My wife was disappointed with the Stephanie – it was a little one-​note.
I wish they had a full bar. They’ve got a nice wine selection and they offer mimosas at brunch, but that’s a rookie brunch beverage. I need a French 75 or Bloody Mary. They’ve got a few beers, but could use more of a selection.
They have some other options on the menu we’ve enjoyed in the past, but our most recent experience was a miss. Their prices are quite reasonable too. It’s worth a shot if you’re in the neighborhood but I wouldn’t drive halfway across the city for them.

The dining area is small, but has good ambiance. There was one waitress and one cook. The cooking area is visible from the dining area.
We ordered the Inigo Montoya & J’a Crêpe for dinner and the Pumpkin Crêpe for dessert. All crepes were delicious.
The savory crepes are about $ 16 and sweet about $ 12.
It’s in a cool part of Seattle with different European restaurants/​stores nearby.

How I heard of this place: I believe I first learned of Crêpe Café through the Entertainment Book but have been a fan of it ever since!
Type of cuisine: Gourmet crepes — savory and sweet.
Ambiance: A slice of Europe — this small, quaint, cozy café offers options for brunch, lunch and dinner with breakfast crepes filled with eggs, bacon and mushrooms, to sweet sensations such as a peaches & cream or banana Nutella. Great for an intimate setting, enjoying date night with your honey or a cozy space to share a meal with a friend. Limited seating in the dark wood setting.
What I ordered: As is often the case when I am at Crêpe Café for brunch, I ordered the Fitzgerald ($ 12) stuffed with sauteed mushrooms, bacon, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese in a savory crêpe topped with béchamel sauce. My dining companion was in a sweet mood and ordered the summer special, peaches and cream ($ 10) made with fresh, ripe, sliced peaches, light, sweetened cheese and dusted with powdered sugar, topped with a generous helping of house-​whipped vanilla cream. In previous visits, my favorites on the menu have included the Westchester (avocado, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, Roma tomatoes and spinach with sun-​dried tomato coulis), the Stephanie (roma tomato, ricotta, parmesan, mozzarella and spinach, drizzled with pesto), the Cisco Kid (a south of the border specialty — roasted chicken, cheddar cheese, avocado, tomatoes, with a creamy chipolte lime sauce and salsa), among others.
What I loved: On this visit, I was less impressed with the flavorless béchamel and skimpy portion of bacon and cheddar cheese in my Fitzgerald, but that is very much unlike my numerous other experiences at Crêpe Café. I love the thickly sliced mushrooms, sauteed in butter and caramelized onions in the crêpe! The peaches in my dining companions crêpe, though I wasn’t quick enough to sample it, were bright orange and looked perfectly sweet and ripe.
Why I loved it: I love the intimate setting, the cozy, friendly and almost-​like-​home feel of the space. The quality of and the flavor of the crepes is generally consistent and full of flavor. The simple presentation adds a hint of personality to each plate.
Cost: Average to high ($ 10-​$ 15 for savory lunch entrée crêpe; $ 7-​$ 12 for sweet crepes)

Really loved the charm inside this place. It reminded us of Paris. The open kitchen was cool because you could watch the chef make the crepes. He was very attentive, warm, and welcoming. The crepes were delicious! A little pricey for what you get on the plate, but still very delicious. They are more filling than you’d think, so two people could share. Will definitely be back to try some more!

Crêpe Café and Wine Bar is a local spot in Ravenna on 65^th that I have driven by maybe a thousand times on my way to the freeway, not realizing that it was hiding here behind a bus stop. Its funny where you end up when you Unilocal crepes in Seattle, and we were on a quest for the pint-​sized crêpe lover in our family.
The Crêpe Café is a low key place, just a bar and a couple of tables. It’s a neighborhood spot, with plastic menu covers and the bill brought to you folded in a red reused, handmade construction paper envelope smudged with fingerprints.
They have a french press coffee serving, and even the mint tea we ordered came to us in a press, which was a nice touch. Prices were high. Most crepes are $ 13 and salads average $ 15, then add three dollars if you’d like protein.(So basically $ 20 for an entrée salad here, which is certainly on the high end for a salad.)
We had a decent egg crêpe with mushrooms, caramelized onions and spinach, a banana nutella crêpe for the young lady who set us off on this adventure, and she was happy. Unfortunately for me, I ordered a seasonal peach crêpe with some congealed cheese, possibly ricotta. The peaches were fresh, but they were not done a big favor by the accompanying gritty filling. The exterior of my crêpe was lightly cooked and doughy. Not crisp.
I did wonder about freshness since my crêpe, what with all the ingredients sitting out, counter side. The filling just didn’t taste quite right. Their European coffee service is a nice touch, but foodwise and cleanliness wise, I’m little iffy on this spot.

This is our favorite go-​to restaurant for dinner in Ravenna. Pretty much the entire menu is delicious. If you aren’t getting wine, it’s pretty inexpensive, too. Even if you do get wine, it’s not too pricey.
If you like mushrooms, you owe it to yourself to try the mushroom medley crêpe here. It’s one of my top 5 favorite dishes in Seattle.
The dessert crepes are also incredible. The best is actually seasonal, though: the peaches and cream crêpe they make in the late summer when peaches are in season.
Went once for brunch on a weekend, and that was really good as well.
And the couple who run the place are great! They’re really nice and always seem super happy. Very positive vibe.

Good options at decent prices. This place is small so go early or go late for best chances of seating more than 2. Both sweet and savory crepes were delicious here. I will be back for more.

Do yourself a favor and go here. Go there! I cant wait to go back for dinner and wine night!
The service was great! Our waitress was really sweet and went above and beyond to accommodate us. That really makes a BIG difference and a nice change from all the «too cool for school» waitresses and bartenders in Seattle.
They have great loose leaf tea, thats served in its own tea pot the way it should be served!
After visiting another place in town that served crepes, Crêpe Café with their fresh ingredients blows those guys out of the water.

YUM. This place is awesome! Came here last night with a friend and we had a really great time.
I had the J’s Crêpe, which was a buckwheat crêpe filled with mushrooms, sun-​dried tomatoes, spinach, goat cheese, and caramelized onions. It was incredible. So delicious and the flavors were wonderful. I had a really hard time choosing because all of the crepes sounded so great, so I will have to come back to try others.
We each had a dessert crêpe. I had the Lemon Zest, which was very light and delicious. I expected a bit more lemon flavor, but it was very good. My friend had one with cheddar and apples with cinnamon — I can’t remember the exact name — and it was also really tasty. At the very end, we swapped desserts so we could each have some of the other’s dessert — it was a good call!
The waitress was very friendly and the food came out quickly. It was very good service all around.
Prices were a bit high. For two dinner crepes, two dessert crepes, and two glasses of wine, it was about $ 80 dollars. That was quite a bit more than we were looking to spend, but it was so delicious that it was worth it this time around.
I would definitely come back here.
