Dani is just wonderful. I am not the kind of person who really enjoys having her photo taken. I get stiff and awkward and am not very photogenic. The first time we met Dani I was completely at ease. She’s super easy to talk to and really knows how to capture you. She’s really pulled out the beauty of our family and our lovely city. She knows the best places to shoot and works well with kids. She’s super easy to work and schedule with. Highly recommended!

Dani has been doing photo’s of my family for 15 years and just did a great set of professional portraits for me. She always does a great job, follow through and delivers promptly. She’s also a lot of fun to work with.

Working with Dani was such a easy process! What you might not realize going into relationship with a photographer for a wedding is how long the actual process will be. It isn’t just about your special day, even though that day is important and you need someone who is up to the task. Really you need someone who isn’t going to drop the ball afterwards! You need someone who will be there throughout the entire editing and photo selection process through the final printed copies and books to answer questions, bounce ideas off of, and take gentle redirection from. Dani was so fun to work with throughout all of this, we bought her top of the line package and were very pleased with the gorgeous photo books. As busy as we were planning and preparing, Dani kept us on track after the event when our enthusiasm and energy had wained. Working with Dani was a very open and honest process, we felt safe to be ourselves at all times around her, and had a ton of fun in the process!

I needed professional portraits taken and was so impressed with the results I got from Dani. She answered all of the questions I had about what to wear and what to expect. The process was really comfortable and easy. Very happy I chose to work with Dani!

Dani was a great photographer for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah in August 2015. She got beautiful shots of our family, friends, and the ceremony. She caught some really beautiful moments in her shots and we all looked good. She also made sure to have a list of who we wanted in the photos ahead of time. She is reliable and definitely easy to work with. We love the photos and if we have another big event, we will be sure to hire Dani!

I first heard about Dani from a facebook friend– she is so reasonably priced. Her work captures a sense of joy and engagement. I had a problem emailing my photo to my website developer and she helped me from start to finish. Dani Weiss is the best!

After reading many reviews on Unilocal,Wedding Wire and others I decided to call Dani Weiss, who was fortunately available. We had barely five weeks notice before my daughter’s wedding. Research on my own had yielded dubious results for other vendors, so Dani’s experience and input for the florist, the caterer and the DJ were critical for the resulting excellent ceremony and reception. Dani worked with my daughter and me on preparatory details of the photography. She requested a list of the shots we wanted and provided essential guidance on the timeline of events so the photography worked seamlessly with the ceremony, the catering, the DJ and the florist. Dani was patient and caring before, during and after the wedding. We are so impressed with the quality of her work, and with her sense of and eye for the right subject at the right time in the right place. She checked out the venue ahead of time to anticipate any potential problems and to develop ideas. She worked with the florist to come up with appropriate arrangements to frame shots, and her vision became beautiful reality.

Dani did an amazing job with our wedding photos! From the very beginning in the planning phase she guided us through every step of the process, making sure that we understood the pros & cons of each decision. She helped us make the best use of her time with us. She helped us prepare our photo lists so that we could get all the shots that we wanted to and not spend a whole lot of time trying to corral all the family for photos. During the family portraits she moved through all of them, guiding everyone where they needed to be efficiently but with control the entire time so that she was able to get all the photos that we had requested. Her candid shots throughout the day captured all the fun and love that our day held. Family members that were unable to attend said that through the photos they felt like they had been there the entire time. These are photos that we will cherish forever. The prints came out perfectly as well. Dani is definitely someone who we will return to for family photos in the future and will recommend for all of our friends and family as well. You cannot go wrong with choosing Dani as your photographer for your next event!

We used Dani as our Wedding Photographer in 2006 and are very happy with her and our photos. From the moment we got in touch with Dani– she was so helpful and knowledgeable and we felt that she had a vision of what we were wanting. She was more expensive then many of the other photographers we looked into, and feel she was definitely worth her price.
At the events– she was amazing. We had our ceremony with immediate family only at a park in the middle of the week and then had our reception with lots of family and friends over the weekend at a venue on the water. Dani shot both events– she was very accommodating. She was assertive in the needed ways to get the great photos we now have to remember our special events. She did an amazing job of getting the formal group photos we wanted and getting many amazing candid shots we cherish. She photographed everyone in attendance. She helped keep the reception moving along in a timely manner. We love our wedding album which she helped us put together– narrowing down the photos is difficult.. We will definitely use Dani in the future for other events we want captured.

Dani was perfect for our big day! We have a very large family and she was able to efficiently work her way through all the family members and also make everyone laugh for the photos. She was great at taking traditional pictures, but our favorite part was her creative perspective. We enjoyed working with Dani and she will be the first person we’ll call if we ever need a photographer again.

Dani shot our wedding in October 2010 as well as our mid September engagement photos. She is great at understanding what we wanted and to make sure our various poses and backgrounds for the formal pictures reflected our style and sense of fun. the candid wedding pictures are also very good, and she managed to get really lovely group shots of our dances and a terrific picture of my wife up on a chair and me being pushed around her (I didn’t want to be lifted up in the air)
Her photos of the details like the table decorations and the food were really incredible and looked like professional art shots. I made the center pieces myself and I was shocked at how lovely her photos made them look. same was true of the food pictures and the cake.
I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in a mid range pricing, very organized and honest photographer.

Dani’s photographs are absolutely stunning. We chose her for our wedding because the samples we saw struck us as being both beautiful and *real.* I didn’t want cookie cutter shots or heavy editing that would make us unrecognizable. I wanted an artistic, magical documentary of our unique event, and looking at my wedding album, that’s just what I got.
Dani was great at organizing our posed group shots – the must haves – but also captured those unexpected spontaneous moments that made the event unique and memorable. Like my husband dancing with his sister, or the look of utter shock on my friend’s face when she caught my bouquet. (Btw, going to that friend’s wedding next month!)
The big bonus is that Dani brings more to the table than her talent. Her candor and years of experience make her easy to work with and a major asset to your wedding planning team, giving valuable advice and even helping pace the event.

My partner and I did a lot of research and deliberated thoroughly before hiring a photographer for our July 2008 wedding. We were looking for someone who would take excellent photos to tell the story of the day, but it was equally important to us that we find someone with whom we were comfortable, someone who would not be at all squeamish about two men walking down the aisle. We didn’t want to break the bank, but we agreed that photography was important enough to be one of our bigger expenses, since the images would shape our memories of the day and last a lifetime.
We found Dani’s website online, and then met her the very next day at a wedding show. And we kept running into her! She showed us her work, took the time to meet with us, and really won us over. As I mentioned already, we did interview a number of other photographers but we kept coming back to Dani because of her experience, professionalism, quality and, frankly, her humor.
Leading up to our wedding, she was extremely helpful with reminders and recommendations. About a month before our wedding, I got the idea of doing a large group shot of all of our wedding guests together; Dani and I discussed the pros and cons, and she was very willing to try and make that happen for us (which she did, beautifully).
On the day of the wedding, she and her second shooter were absolute pros, so pleasant, fun and thorough. The photos they took for us do indeed capture the people, details, and both the big and small moments of the day, but the emotion also comes through very strongly – such beautiful and loving shots.
Dani was very timely in turning the photos around and posting our website, especially during her busiest time of the year. We were entirely pleased and would recommend her without hesitation.

I used Dani Weiss for my wedding, as well both of my little girl’s birth and newborn photos. This summer we did our first family portraits at Golden Gardens with Dani as well.
We were new to Seattle when we were looking for a wedding photographer. Dani clicked with us right away. When we met she spent a good deal of time with us reviewing our location (it was outdoors on a beach). She was willing to go wherever, and had good ideas for back up photo locations in case the Seattle weather didn’t comply. Lucky for us all went well.
The pictures during the service were wonderful, everything moment– even my bridesmaid wiping away tears. Also very good pictures after the ceremony. One of our pics made it into the Knot magazine, which was really fun. A year later she came to our home to do a session of newborn photos with my family, my parents enjoyed her demeanor and we had a really good time together. Everyone was comfortable and relaxed– from which we got great pics! (My father hates getting his photo taken). I recommend her all the way, if you’re into a real personal experience. She understood us, and caught the moments we hoped for.

Dani shot my wedding in August, and our engagement pictures in June. I just picked up our wedding album at the beginning of January. I am so happy with the pictures. My husband is not comfortable with getting his photo taken, so she had to work hard with us for the engagement photos. And, I am an extremely detail-​oriented bride with high expectations for staying on a timeline, getting all of the shots I wanted, etc. Dani got all of the shots I wanted and more, and did a great job of moving through the shots in an efficient manner. My sister was married the previous year, and loved the pictures Dani took so much that she ordered more photos from Dani than she did from her own photographer. I thought that Dani did a great job (the glass for our engagement photo/​wedding signature mat was broken — she quickly had it replaced — no questions asked). I thought she was well worth the money, and I would be happy to work with her again.
