The staff is always so friendly, informative, and actually make me feel like they care about my needs. The remodel has only took the store to the sky. Now that the area is bigger and easier to move around in, I feel I can browse more efficiently. I love the new leather craftsman area. I’m stopping by and seeing him the next time I am in the area.

I love this place! they never have a problem when I walk naked out the dressing room to find another Item to try on, they have whips, cuffs, cock rings, insertables, tie downs, and underwear.

i’ve been a customer here for years, since i moved to seattle almost a decade ago and even now living in portland i go in ever visit to seattle. nothing really compares to doghouse in leather or fetish gear selection. the closest competitor i’ve found is mr. s leather in san francisco. there are plenty of great toy stores along the coastal cities but not many in this specific genre.
soon they will be expanding into the old vacuum space next door and have brought up portland’s premier leather maker to produce locally for them!
the staff is friendly, flirtatious and makes sure to be professional when you have questions. feel comfortable coming in to explore some things you may have never considered before let alone known existed!

Silly enough as this sounds, whenever I travel, I always try and make it a point to stop into the «gay clothing/​underwear» store as it were in that city.
Before the trip, I had heard the best spot for jockstraps were either here or UnderU4Men.
I drunkenly made my way to Doghouse after the Sounders match and was SO overwhelmed at the selection I was faced with. I could have walked out with the store.
I selected two Cellblock 13 jockstraps which are near impossible to get in Canada if you aren’t much for online shopping.
The staff were super friendly and helpful with sizing and styles.

One thing that really made me fall in love with Seattle is just how open it is to gays and lesbians. Denver was not too bad but Seattle takes on a new openness. Actually it is a difference between night and day how the openness is on either coast compared to most landlocked cities in the country. That is what I loved about Seattle. Mild weather and openness.
Capitol Hill is a plethora of openness and is Seattle’s core for the LGBT population. Of course that means the shops will be great!
Doghouse Leather is just such a place! The place has a wide variety of adult accessories and toys, club gear and lots of innovative clothing leather or not which makes my once staple store for such goods in Denver kind of vanilla!

My partner and I went there a while back and spent a good amount of money on various items. We were having a good time with the staff that was there that evening. We had noticed a few queenly comments made about previous customers as we were hanging out. We got word later that evening that they thought we were trying to hit on them and take them with us as well. Well I got news for the staff there. we were not! And plus the one who throws the first flogger is the one hitting on someone. As far as their quality and pricing. It’s not bad but You can sure get better quality things on line as well. So a word to the owners. I would watch your staff a little more and their attitudes or more and more customers will just not come in. I know for a fact we won’t and we Won’t be bringing our friends in either!

I have been in Doghouse Leathers twice. Once to browse and once to buy.
If you’re in search of more «heavy duty» sex accessories, this is definitely your place to go. I was in search for some starter BDSM toys; such as a cane, flog, paddle, etc. My first visit was pleasant, I was greeted by friendly staff who were eager to help me if I needed it. The selection of products I was faced with was phenomenal! They have high quality leather goods here. Most of their flogs and whips are made in Duvall. Local leather, check. A whole entire wall of local leather, arranged by a handy scale? Double Check! This store definitely has *the* best selection of these types of products. No other local store has this stuff.
On my second trip here I came with a specific purpose. I had two items that were Must Haves, and I spent quite some time picking them out. One thing I also love about this store is that their toys are predominately black. I’m pretty happy I didn’t have to sift through glittery, pink vibrators to get to my butt plug! The cane I picked up was also a nice subtle color, and the price was right too. Lube was 20% off during my visit and I had to pick some up. They have got a good selection, definitely. And their staff is really knowledgable about what can and cannot be used with certain toys. Thank goodness, because sometimes that confuses me.
If you’re a lady, head on in here. Yes, it’s focused more on men but everyone can appreciate their high quality, reasonably priced products.
