eXit SPACE is a unique environment where dance technique and community come together. We work tirelessly to create a genuinely supportive and highly creative atmosphere for the beginning student through professional level dancer. eXit SPACE offers a wide curriculum of technique classes including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and hip-​hop to suit students of all ages and levels. Classes at eXit SPACE are stylistically diverse and reflect each teacher’s aesthetic interest and artistic background.

The eXit SPACE faculty is highly experienced in their respective fields, and our instructors are specifically suited to the classes they teach. Our programs are designed for students who wish to fully experience the art and science of dance and dance education.

Because we feel it is important to create classes that are specific to the needs of all of our students, eXit SPACE maintains two distinct programs: The Adult Dancer Program and The Young Dancer Program.

History

Established in 2006.

We deeply value the development of each individual and strive to provide an atmosphere that is both professional and supportive. Our goal is to create a community of dancers and dance enthusiasts who share common beliefs about the art of dance.

Our eXit SPACE community believes dance should be accessible to

everyone. Regardless of age, experience, size, or ability — we offer

the class and community for all.

Meet the Business Owner

Marlo M.

Business Owner

Marlo finds fulfillment and joy in celebrating and practicing all that encompasses and defines dance. As a teacher Marlo’s focus is diverse, she teaches both children and adults and her talents are a result of years of training in multiple disciplines including modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, and musical theater. Teaching is a passion for Marlo and she enjoys sharing her views on technique and dance with beginner students through professional dancers. Much of her development as an artist came from her experience at Western Michigan University where she earned her B.F.A. in dance. Marlo danced professionally with The Three Yells and Redd Legg Dance, now she concentrates on directing eXit SPACE, badmarmarDANCE, the BOOST dance festival. Marlo will be teaching at Strictly Seattle 2013, Cornish College of the Arts, and Western Michigan University this fall.
