We had a ridiculous debacle with a mechanic who claimed our shocks and struts needed replacing (for an absurd, like $ 500 extra just for parts, markup) and then another mechanic who actually broke two completely functional parts off of our car when we’d asked them to not even touch them. We needed an honest mechanic that actually knew how to do their job to fix the mess.
Thank you, Foster’s, for being honest and straightforward, taking the time to help us out, and for really knowing what you’re doing. Finding these things in a mechanic in this city is like happening across a unicorn. I know you guys may not fully identify with the analogy, but you’re a total unicorn, Foster’s.
We literally saved $ 1100 worth of completely unnecessary work and the little remaining sliver of our sanity thanks to these guys. Go to them.
