George Paul Chocolates

Used my Groupon here and I have to say Wow! Excellent truffles! They had a limited supply due to the Groupon and I was told they were making more that afternoon. Small little place, easy to find. Would go back for more!

So delicious and exquisite! I purchased about 5 kinds of truffles on my first visit and all were wonderful. I was also really excited that they had a vegan varietal. I’ll be back soon!

Went by George Paul Chocolates after a walk around Greenlake, but surprisingly didn’t have any chocolate! We went in for ice cream. They serve really tasty local ice cream. It was a gorgeous summer night and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream I got on a sugar cone was PERFECT!!!
Every lick was rich and full of smooth vanilla flavor. It was lovely and I’d definitely go back.

We bought the Groupon for this SUPER CUTE ice cream/​chocolate shop. It is located near Greenlake so you can get an ice cream on a cone and take it to the park to enjoy. They carry Snoqualmie Ice Cream, which is pretty good. The guy who works there (the brother of George Paul) is super nice and patient. He let us try multiple flavors there before we ordered. I really like the Green Tea and Caramel flavored ice cream. They are very rich and flavorful. When we ordered a pint of the ice cream, he generously filled it to the top. We tried the chocolate bars and they were tasty too. I’m so glad I bought a Groupon to this place because it is super cute and has tasty treats.

Friendly staff and an assortment of curious spicy chocolate bars with inclusions such as habanero or ginger, as well as caramels and hand made truffles, oh Ice cream and sipping chocolate too. Habanero caramel with sipping chocolate is a great combination. Not too spicy, just enough. The caramels are large, soft, and I must admit that I enjoyed it very much.
Located close to Greenlake so a great spot to go after a walk around the lake. Quiet enough for business meetings.

Thanks to Groupon, we found this hidden gem tucked away in Green Lake. We ordered pistachio and banana foster ice cream ($ 3.49 single); both were decadent. We also got the white chocolate lavender bar ($ 7.99) and several of the chocolates ($ 1.75 each). The chocolates were beautifully decorated and the flavors unique. My favorite is the honey peanut butter. It was very smooth and to die for. We will definitely return soon.

I really liked chocolates and sipping hot chocolate. The Aztec hot chocolate has nice spices and balance. Their chocolates had really interesting flavors like lavender vanilla and mexican mango.
My only negative thing I can say is that the chocolate shop, overall wasn’t very clean. The bathrooms had paper everywhere and holes in the walls. The front of the house wasn’t much better and I could see behind the counter as I walked by, that the floor hadn’t been moped and there was a lot of grime and dirt and more holes in the walls. I don’t like being nit-​picky, but at a place that serves food, it should be a lot cleaner that it was.

A little on the pricey side, but good chocolates overall.

Artisan chocolate truffles. Need I say more? Actually, when a colleague mentioned George Paul Chocolates in conversation last week, I was very rude. Really rude. I pulled out my phone to google it while he droned on about George Paul. I actually tuned him out, while nodding my head like I was actually listening to him. I pretended to read my email while looking up periodically when I was actually plotting how to leave this business lunch early so I could drive to Greenlake right away. Actually, it wasn’t even a colleague, it was a client. I know. I am hanging my head in shame, but chocolate, especially artisan chocolate has that affect on me. Wait, is it effect or affect? I can’t think right now writing this review. I probably should have driven there and written the review while in the shop so I could think clearly.
Suffice to say, these truffles are to die for! They are gorgeous to look at and even more delicious to taste. I loved the raspberry champagne, mexican mango and habanero mango ones. They were out of a few flavors and I suspect they will be overrun soon because Amazon Local Deals had a dealeroo on them this week. I bought a set for a friend who was hosting a party, cuz I’m classy like that. I did almost change my mind and keep them for myself, but I thought better of it. And maybe karma will make it so that someone will gift me George Paul chocolates for that dinner party I plan to host someday that my kneebiters go off to college.
Just a tip: you can also skip their retail store and go directly to Wine World if you want to buy their chocolates.

I discovered George Paul during the Northwest Chocolate Festival at the Convention Center, last fall. We had been filling ourselves with chocolate all morning and I didn’t know if I could put one more piece in my mouth. But there was a wall we hadn’t tried yet so I decided to truck though and I’m really glad I did… because against this wall, was George Paul Chocolates and its amazing chocolate bars:
— White chocolate lavender: AMAZING. You can see the purple flecks throughout the chocolate bar and I didn’t think the combination would work so well, but it DOES. This has to be my favorite
–Dark chocolate with peppermint candy: delicious and a perfect way to bring on the holiday season (I think this is seasonal?)
— Milk chocolate with Aztec Spices: really good chocolate with a nice kick at the end.
Recently, I was finally able to make my way to the store. The Trejo brothers are so friendly and excited about their business. It’s a small and cute store and the chocolates and truffles stare at you as soon as you walk in. It might seem like a splurge (at $ 8/​bar of chocolate) but it’s SOOO worth it!

Before you put that cheap-quality-no-good-Hershey’s bar in your mouth… try George Paul chocolates. This review may be bias for the point that I personally know one of the owners but I am more than proud to see this dream grow in such genuine hands. Marcos, being one of the most dedicated and loyal people on this planet, I’m proud to have experienced his commitment to such a fulfilling product in this simple venue located right off Greenlake. I’ve tried every product that they have to offer and their chocolates are the best (no, I’m not overestimating here, I just know my taste buds). I have never tried chocolate – let alone caramels – with such refined smooth and complementary flavors. Even though their ice cream freezer was broken, I’m more then enthused to try it after they get the problem fixed as knowing them, they pick the best and only the best products. I’m more than happy to support them in the early and future stages as I will highly recommend this to anyone. If you are looking to satisfy your chocolate craving or your dessert palette, try it here. You will not be disappointed.
Both the brothers are great to meet. They value their customer base and sincerely listen to whoever walks in the door. Do I need to say more? Go to George Paul chocolates, just do it.
Highly recommended: Salted caramels both dipped in chocolate and by itself, dipped Oreos, peanut butter truffle, white chocolate with lavender bar, and if you’re brave: check out the chile caramel.

Stopped by here one day in the evening. Nice service and let me sample their chocolate truffles. Wow they are good. Really nice chocolate and the different flavors do not over power the chocolate.
They also have Stumptown Coffee (my favorite) and great Snoqualmie Ice Cream.
I will keep coming back, only downside is it is a little bare inside the store, hopefully they improve that.

Five stars! I loved the creamy, flavorful Truffles– jasmine tea and honey peanut butter were my favorite. I plan to give out boxes of Truffles to clients and business associates for Christmas. The pumpkin chiffon ice cream was delightful and delicious too. A real treat.

This café is a true work of art! Beautiful, sleek set up inside that is cozy and comfy, outstanding customer service, delicious stumptown coffee, snoqualmie ice cream, and their own handcrafted chocolates. Marcos and George are two super friendly brothers who have poured their hearts and souls into wonderful, local, small business. We all love the Green Lake neighborhood and many of us find ourselves up there regularly so next time you are around stop in and give them I try! Highly recommended.

As a student, a place to study with tasty treats and coffee is key. I thoroughly enjoyed a long day of studying with free wifi, soft music, delicious coffee. Tonight, I had a Jasmine tea truffle (delicious, perfect amount of flavor and chocolate) and a scoop of Lavender vanilla bean ice cream. Pants are fitting snug but totally worth it! Definitely going again for more!

Marcos and his brother George are really stand up guys. They really value developing relationships with their customers which will make me a frequent customer. On top of their outstanding customer relations, their chocolates are the bomb. May be a little exotic for some, but I sampled most their bars and truffles (don’t be shy to ask for samples!) and they are to die for. GET DAT HABANERO PINEAPPLE CHOCOLATE!

This place has suuuuupperrr cute handmade truffles. Really tasty too! And they also have a variety of really creative ice cream flavors! i think they custom order them. i had … err. mexican mango? it was mango with pistachio pieces with a bit of kick in the end… deeeeeelishhhhhh. If I was still in school… would be here all the time to study. Maybe i just should go back to school like my mom wants me to. ANYWAY The place is still quite new and they would love more feedback! Owner Marcos is a real nice guy.

I drove all the way from Bellevue just to try George Paul Chocolates. I must say, the drive over was definitely worth it! They have an abundance of beautifully decorated, one of a kind truffles, delicious ice cream and a variety of drinks! My favorites were the pomegranate cheesecake ice cream and the raspberry champaign truffle. If you like spicy, you should definitely try their chocolate with habanero. It sounds like a strange combination, but this chocolate has the perfect amount of kick and is surprisingly tasty. They have the friendliest workers and the I am in love with the cozy atmosphere. I will definitely make another trip out to George Paul Chocolates in the near future.

Tucked away on the east side of Greenlake, George Paul Chocolates makes THE BEST Salted Caramel milk shake you will ever have, and truffles that should be classified as art. With friendly baristas and a cozy, elegant atmosphere, George Paul Chocolates is well worth the trip.
